Thai Spices Restaurant
2401 W Turner Rd #224, Lodi, CA 95242, United States
First time visiting this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was attentive and gave our party plenty of time to decide on our order. This is in a small strip mall and I had my misgivings from previous experiences with restaurants in small strip malls. The portions were good and the flavor was delicious. We each shared a bit of every dish and I was not disappointed. We ordered two appetisers, two drinks and four dishes. The total was under ninety dollars before tax. I will return with my appetite and several dishes we saw others eating. If you havent been here and enjoy Thai food then this is worth a visit.

One of my favorite restaurants in downtown Lodi!? The oyster shooters are one of my favorite items on the menu! Never disappoints and you have the option to make it non alcoholic. ? The staff is pretty friendly and seating is usually available at lunch/dinner time. So many yummy dishes on the menu, great spot for Asian food in Lodi!
Panda Express

Panda Express is a misnomer, if you visit during peak dining hours. If you arrive before or after the rush, you can get in and out in a matter of seconds. But if you are unfortunate enough to show up at the wrong time, youre in for a long wait. The food is always good, relatively speaking, but you wont find a huge crush of Asian people in line. At lunch time, local Chinese restaurants serve higher quality food for just about the same price. But, Panda is consistent, good not great, and inexpensive. That being said, my theory on dining out, and/or food shopping is: the busier the establishment is, the faster the product turn-over. Hence... the fresher the food. This Panda gets very busy during peak hours. Enjoy!

Great place, authentic ramen for sure. But if you want to discuss options and types, dine in. The website has a lot but can be difficult to navigate, and id you call to take out, any ramen is the same no matter the noodles. They do close early, so order early, and when they say an hour, thats a hard hour, occasionally going over; this is ot an indictment of the quality, but actually praise for it: it takes awhile because everything is made to order. There is occasional confusion between the staff foe which order os which and what is going on, but it seems to be a very popular spot doe take out and dine in because of its authenticity; thus the confusion is well worth it as the are very focused on quality of food. The wine selection is also exceptional with local offerings.
Oz Sushi & Grill

Our first two visits to this restaurant were good, although over all three visits I have noticed the cleanliness declining. Our third visit was not so great. We along with several other groups were asked to wait to be seated as we looked at a sea of empty tables. We had to stand for almost 15 minutes as I watched groups of people leaving due to the strange wait. My mother and our children recieved their food but my wife and I did not get our food until everyone one else was finished eating... our children are 5 and 6 years old. Trying to eat in a hurry while also monitoring our youngsters who now had little to distract them was not enjoyable. The staff was moderatly apologetic. All forgiven except that I noticed so many things related to cleanliness that will likely result in us not visiting again starting with the front glass doors. Having owned and run a restaurant for 5 years I can tell when cleaning is not a priority. It starts with the front glass doors (if you have glass doors). In addition, I could smell the water the staff used to mop with the night before which is a huge indicator to me. My wife and I have spoken with a young man who we believed was the owner on our previous visits, however he was not present on our last visit. Lastly, I will say that all things considered the quality of the food was good. I always eat sashimi and have not gotten sick here. It is for that reason I give 3 and not 2 stars. Good luck Oz team!

Food was decent. Waitress was horrible. She kept disappearing. We had been done for 15 minutes with our sushi and appetizers before we flagged down another waitress to take our entree order and ask for drink refills. Second waitress was trying. First one checked on us once, we we had dirty dishes setting right on the edge of the table and she just left them there even after she brought more tea at my request. Finished with meal and waitress no where around. We finally had to ask for her and ask for the bill, then she never came back with it. Had to ask again for it. The whole time we were in the dinning area 4 couples came, ate and left, different waitress. There was no was else ever in the dinning area so they werent busy. Never going back.

We have eaten at M Sushi in Lodi a few times in the past and have never had an experience like this. We arrived at the restaurant with 5 of our 7 guests, and the other 2 were picking in the birthday cake. They said they could not seat us until all people in the party arrived. So we stood for 15 minutes while people came in after us and were seated. So the 2 arrived with the birthday cake in hand, so they finally sat us and took the cake to the back. We then waited another 15 minutes to get water and a waitress, while they other people who entered before us were already eating. Finally, a waitress arrived with some water, and at this time, we were nearly 40 minutes into this ordeal with 7 glasses of water, and at this time, our order was finally taken. Our food arrived 15 minutes after ordering, which put us around 1 hour into the ordeal as we watched people who entered before us leave. Food was sub-par and tasted nothing like we have enjoyed in the past. We finished up and asked the waitress to bring out the birthday cake, and at this time, she proceeded to tell us we could light the candles, but you cant eat the cake here! Why would they not say this as they brought us into the restaurant, perhaps it was the nearly $400 meal tag they would have missed out on as we would not have stayed. The whole trip was about our sons birthday, which turned out to be a complete waste of time. No good memories made there that evening, and no new memories will be made, as we will not be returning, nor recommending, and neither will our guests. Best of luck, M!

RACIAL PROFILING! The CHEF told the server he would not cook for our party of 7 which we appeared to look Hispanic (we’re actually Asian). I WOULD NOT EAT NOR RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT! Very rude service - they did not even try to be pleasant.

Since I am a professional Google review local guide (level five) I hope this brings a lot of clarity to customers and management. I will start with my personal experience and then move on to things to watch out for while you're here. I go in on Saturday, July 8 at 5:40pm to watch the Spider-Man movie and I buy the tickets online. I was charged twice, perhaps it was because I use the fandango outlet instead of directly buying from the actual theater, which I believe is Santa Rosa. Either way they voided one transaction but just beware.I arrive at the theater and was helped by a young Asian woman, at the counter who had the biggest attitude, absolutely not the emotionally stable person that should be handling your guests, I try to use Apple Pay, which they do not have, and she had the biggest smirk as she tells me they only take cash or card, which, of course I'm always prepared but the way she had sheer delight in smirking as she said that was the most disgusting vibe you could imagine. We go in the theater that has this bizarre odor to find out that one of the seats did not operate the reclining mechanism, luckily, for us, we could just hopped over to the next seat so that is also something to watch out for. We left the theater and the bathrooms were the worst I have ever seen, really smalll stalls where the toilet roll container, was rubbing on my leg and I am a slim guy, looks like no one likes to clean in this place, more of a social gathering of young people who don't care about actually fixing up the place and doing the hard work(stuff that matters) andDepending where you are in that place, your theater room might be either a hotbox or an iceboxVery little options in this little town, I would only come here for the big box office hits, popcorn, and food are fair price for theater and the parking is horrible, be careful leaving valuables in cars far away, because if “they”(crooks) know you're going to a theater, they will break into your car, I do rideshare and see police doing reports almost every night. I would say to Uber here if you could or pay for a new window, your choice.
