This place is hit and miss on the food 50/50. Sometimes its fresh and tasty and other times not so much. Being that it’s expensive for asian fast food it should be less roll of the dice on quality of food. Im not expecting 5 star high end restaurant food. But ive had it where the rice texture was hard, or the noodles really oily or the orange chicken was tough and the walnut shrimp was soggy. And other timesEverything is tasty and good. For the price it should be good more consistently. Customer service is always good so they have that going.

I attempted to order online today at about 645pm and by 7pm I received a notice my online order was canceled due to the restaurant being out of chicken. I had already arrived at the location when I received the notice and shortly after received a phone call from the restaurant stating they did have chicken but it would take about 25-30mins to cook. I had already waited about 20 mins from the time I ordered to the time I arrived to the restaurant where the order could have been prepared. When I arrived to the front of the restaurant I saw two guys standing behind the register on their phones. Mind you the location doesnt close until 8pm so I didnt understand why there was no chicken prepared. I was told by the gentleman on the phone that they could still make my order but it would now take an extra 25-30 mins for my order two be ready. I respectfully told the person on the phone that I would not be going through with the order.I really enjoy coming here for the food but the customer service in the evening time is always poor. Its like the closer it gets to closing time the less work they want to do. Thats just my personal opinion. Hopefully this can be addressed. A si.ple phone call letting me know about the wait time when the order was placed wouldve been ideal.Maybe the online ordering should not be an option if the guys who work in the evening find it hard to make peoples orders.

On July 6th at 6:08 p.m. ordered Bowl and added avocado; it had black Parts on it I took a picture I sure did the person when I place another order today to please do not put up a, thats black. She told the other girl with a ponytail and curly hair and she made a face sarcastically and Ill hurt her tell the cook not going to eat black avocado. So the girl that was preparing the food I showed her the photographs on my phone and she said to my surprise: theres nothing I can do thats how we sell it. I did not appreciate that answer and I spoke with the cook and he had the right attitude indicating that the girl was in error of her attitude and he was sorry that we got the black avocado on the last order. People shouldnt get fired they should get retrained; but more importantly, people that get hired need to have the right attitude and food service its not an easy job--- dealingwith people. But you have to be polite and hear out the complaint if theres any with the right attitude

This place is very mediocre for Thai food. Aside from its nice clean atmosphere inside a newly renovated plaza the food is only meh...For Thai food this place is expensive for its quality and quantity. I was here for lunch. They offer lunch special but thier lunch special menu consisted of a very small variety of Thai food . When I say Thai food I am thinking Pad Thai, Panang curry, Tom Yum Noddles. they offer teriyaki chicken some sauted veggies fried rice and one with beef curry. Yeah theres nothing attractive from the lunch special.It be nice if I could order some Thai food from the lunch special since thier main menu does not come with ? rice!! Rice is a side order of $2 something. I mean, come on who eats curry with out rice if you dont include the rice at least serve some bread..I ended up getting Tom yum Noddles off the main menu. It was $11 bucks mostly Noddles very little toppings not even enough peanuts and I dont remember any green garnish to make my noodles more appetizing.Service was slow they had two servers for thier busy lunch hr. The more I write the more stars I am removing so I better stop.

Ordered & paid to go foods but 1 of the item is not ready, crab Rangoon. The server asked me to wait 7 mins & I did cause I was also browsing on my phone. 15 to 20 mins passed and I followed up my order but said not ready yet & to my surprise the chef forgot to cook it and told me to wait again. I asked them nicely if I could just refund the money $ 2.75 & this Oriental lady told me that it will take 7 days to get it back to my card and told me in a rude manner to just wait and relax. When I told her that i already followed up like 3 times & don't want it anymore this rude lady gave me a big mouth attitude & was disrespectful telling me not to come back and banned me to their store. This is absolutely poor customer service . I come here with my family & friends a lot of times but definitely not coming back because of this bad experience with their service. If there is a lower score than 1 star that's what their service crew deserves especially this Oriental lady

Similar to Flame Broiler, complete with skinless chicken (because thats supposedly healthier), I knew what to expect prior to ordering a chicken bowl.Chicken bowl-Diced, white meat chicken over a bed of white rice, with a slathering of the signature WaBa sauce. On the bright side, the bowl will fill you up. However, coming from a big Yoshinoya fan, the WaBa sauce is required to add flavor tootherwise dry cuts of meat. The rice was fluffy, though.Service was good. On my first visit, I ordered in person. The second, I ordered via the app, both with minimal wait. Parking is via a small private lot, shared by Popeyes Chicken. More available at the adjacent Food 4 Less lot.To-go & delivery are the only available options, due to current events.Maybe if I paid extra for the ribeye, wild caught salmon or shrimp (tofu available, too), the term meh wouldnt have popped into my head while eating WaBa Grills chicken bowl. Fat is flavor, and is good for you. The chicken bowl does provide calories & a substantial meal, but without a promo available, I dont think Id be a frequent customer.

Food is good. Staff is NOT. They were rude to my wife and gave us small portions and overcharged. We ate there with them not knowing she understood their language and what they said... Im surprised that she handled it well and didnt trash the place or cause a scene! She is an Emergency Room Nurse so I suppose shes can manage her emotions and determine what type of people she will waste energy on...and this place doesnt deserve her energy. Im Puerto rican and I learned to love Filipino people and love their food...sad that this place close to our home has to be so darn rude to their local customers. We will be spreading the word about this and we are definitely having more of our family members and friends come to this place and experience it themselves. The taste is very bad. Because my children don't like the tastes, so I call them and ask if the chief is wrong. Use Beef not pork;The two employee of the restaurant answer the phone, and their attitude is all no patient and bad;while I am talking, they are also talking at the same time, not giving the customer a chance to speak!They also mentioned that I ordered a bowl of noodles yesterday because I didnt like it, so I give it to my coworker, and then I order another one and we paid both!And we paid more than 30% tips when we checked out yesterday!I asked to communicate with the boss, the employee said that I will never talk to their boss!The employee said that They will give me back the tip!And Let me wash cleaning a plastic cup I take form their restaurant;This plastic cup is the ice water cup that sometimes I take away when I go to eat. Never will!我和我公司的员工是这家餐厅的老顾客了，很久很久的老顾客了！！！昨天晚餐时买了十个肉夹馍，今天吃起来全部是瘦肉，口感很不好，因为孩子不喜欢吃纯瘦的，所以电话打去店里问了一下是不是师傅夹错了夹成牛肉了；结果是店员换了两个接电话，态度一个比一个不耐烦和恶略，我说话的同时他们也同时在说话，完全不给顾客说话的机会！又说我昨天点了一碗面因为不是我想象的所以我就不喜欢了，这碗面是我点了不喜欢所以就给我同事了，我又点一碗别的，两碗面的钱也都付了！昨天的消费我们结账时小费付了百分之三十多！我要求和老板沟通，店员说我永远也见不到他们老板！这个店员说要把小费退给我！让我把拿走的一个塑料水杯洗干净还给他们！这个塑料杯子是我有时候去吃饭的时候走的时候会带走的冰水杯，下次去吃饭的时候会还给他们，我又问他们哪个餐厅顾客喝完水把杯子洗干净留在桌子上！这个店员还说让我再也不要去他们餐厅吃饭了！这样的餐厅！这样的店员！这样的服务！这样的态度！我都是第一次碰到！并且我是老顾客，我公司的员工也是他们的老顾客！很久很久的老顾客！我不知道这家餐厅是怎么服务其他顾客的！我只能说，我和我公司的员工任何一个人都不会再去他们餐厅吃饭！永远都不会！

Excellent prices for sushi. Not a lot of room to sit down, no actual dishes to eat off of (just paper/plastic plates and trays) and not much charm in the atmosphere there, this is a place to order to-go. The fish on the sushi was a bit warm for my taste, but everything tasted delicious anyway. I had to try the super dragon roll as the pictures looked amazing, and I have to say it didnt disappoint. Overall I really have no idea how this is the highest rated sushi place in Whittier, when there are probably sit-down restaurants that get the atmosphere right (though theyre probably more expensive). However that doesnt mean I wont be back, on the contrary, I will probably order from these guys again, whether through pick-up or through a delivery app. For these prices Im not sure if you can best their sushi, but Ive yet to try every sushi place in the area as I just moved to the area. Will update when Ive tried a few more places. As it stands Im sure you could find tastier sushi, but at what cost? These guys do a great job for a great price, and try to make you feel at home for the short time youre there.

12/16/2023. Came back 4 years later and guess what? Nothing has changed. STILL HORRIBLE SERVICE!The two ladies running the front are rude. This is a seat down restaurant and not even two bites into our dinner and they were already asking us to pay. In order to try to enjoy our food, I paid right away. The waitress stood right over our shoulder the entire time and she kept taking our plates without asking if we were done eating.After such horrible experince they demanded a tip. I explained to them why I didnt tip and they got angry and follow us spraying some water as we left.The place was empty when we arrived and if they continue treating customers like this they will loose the few customers they have left.I know I wont go back.Ps. I am a believer on tipping, many people depend on tips to make ends meet. However, tips and not mandatory and must be earned. If, I receive good service I am generous and will tip even for to go orders.------------Food was delicious but the older lady kept coming to our table and looking over our shoulder. I dont know if they have a issue with people leaving without paying but even after we gave them our card and paid for our dinner she kept coming over to our table to the point I had to tell her to please let us eat our dinner in peace. Giving 3 stars because the food is good but wont be coming back.
