I ordered dinner to be delivered for 2 of us, and it gave a delivery time of almost an hour. About 25 minutes after the delivery time, I called the restaurant and was told the driver left and I should receive my order in 10 minutes. Needless to say, I was not happy, and I suggested that practice good customer service by calling to inform the customer. The only thing the manager (Ed) said was they were very busy. By this time I had little confidence in this restaurant that I was ordering from for the first time. 45 minutes after the specified delivery time, and much more than the 10 minutes Ed told me, I saw the driver pull in to my driveway, I greeted him and asked him to confirm what was ordered, he looked at the ticket he was holding and told me I dont know. I took the bag (yes, I was frustrated), I touched the top container and it was basically room temperature. I called and talk to Ed again, he said they were very busy tonight, and that the driver really didnt speak good English. He said next time I order, I should talk to him and he would take care of me, I asked him what he meant, but he didnt specifyI told him this couldve been a better experience had he reached out (in stead of the other way around), and said with how he treated me as a customer who just spent over $50, was not appreciated, and I didnt have a good enough experience to order from them again.I leave good feedback when its deserved, and bad when its deserved. In good conscience, I could never recommend this place.Good luck!

The owner lost a HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY by never calling me back -- and this after already having been so impossibly rude to me.I am a super happy and very friendly and polite human being, and I was throwing a massive birthday party for myself and possibly as many as 200+ guests. In fact, the party was going to begin at 1:30 in the afternoon and run until 10:30 at night. I decided to have TWO meals during that immense time-period, and a dear, dear friend -- someone who swore by Vinh Loi Tofu, and especially the owner -- suggested I make arrangements WITH the owner to have two substantial orders either be delivered and/or picked up twice during the day, all of which would go to a large sanctuary located on Haskell Avenue, in North Hills. When I phoned -- and the owner was EXPECTING my phone call -- I reached an incredibly sweet and well-spoken woman who said he was just finishing up taking an order from some guests. I suggested she take my name and number, so that he, in turn, could ring me back when he was finished. But she said it was all right, if I didnt mind waiting. I again said I certainly didnt mind his calling me back... but just then, she said he had just finished taking the order and was, in fact, walking directly towards her and the phone. So she asked me to hold a second, and then I heard her put the owner on the phone.I happily introduced myself, knowing full well hed been expecting my call. His manner was shocking. He immediately stated he was in the middle of an important meeting, and had no time to speak with me. What?! So I began to say that that was not a problem, with my intention to ask him to return my call when he was finished with his meeting. Instead, he rudely interrupted me and said, Name! Number! He already had both of those from my two emails from the evening before. But, no problem. I gave both to him, carefully spelling my name and stating my entire phone number. He again said he was in the middle of a meeting, then nastily hung up the phone on me.He never, ever rang me back. Not that day. Not the next day. Not the day after that. And never, ever again. The thing is, he was openly caught in a blatant and horrible LIE. There was his wife, stating that he was taking an order from customers, and then she stated that hed completed their order-taking, and was now walking towards her and the phone, and yet -- when he heard it was I on the phone -- he LIED.WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!!?Now, a total of over 130 guests came to my all-day/all-night birthday party. That is one hell of a lot of human beings who could have and would have eaten -- and enjoyed (???) -- all his food, right? But they never got that chance, did any of them? And why IS that? Why did this foolish man lie? Why did he turn down such a HUGE and WONDERFUL opportunity to prepare and have 130 individuals consume food of his, not once, but TWICE, in one long day? And he would have had so much FREE advertising, because surely he would have been sure to have had his business cards, maybe even menus, distributed to all these guests (many of whom do not live in the immediate area where his restaurant is located). For instance, I reside in Santa Clarita, so lots of my friends also live in that area. Additionally, many others live in Los Angeles. ALL of these fine guests would have been first-time customers of his, and surely at least half of them would have been FUTURE customers of his, correct? And he could have easily prepared DIFFERENT meals for each of the two services! What a foolish, foolish man!On top of that, he will never have ME as a customer, nor will he have any of MY friends as customers of his, because why would I ever choose HIS restaurant as a place to dine??? And then there is the fact that I have already told SO many people exactly what happened when I tried to speak with this owner ABOUT having a double service for my huge birthday party. And I am nowhere finished yet, believe me. It takes a very long time for someone of my temperament to get angry, but this
Garden Wok

The vegan fish here is absolutely phenomenal. They make it all by hand in-house, unlike other restaurants that order them. The broccoli beef looks just like real beef, and the texture is exactly like the most tender beef youd find in an authentic Chinese restaurant in Monterey Park or Sam Gabriel. The crispy crunch of the orange chicken is downright addictive--we could have ordered one for each of us. The depth in flavor of the humble vegetable fried flat rice noodles is astounding. This is achieved only with a high enough heat to release the woks breath. This place could charge twice as much for how authentic and skillfully made their dishes are. An unbelievable gem in a homely shopping center!

Shut the front door! Best Shumai ever!!! I’ve been to a lot of Chinese restaurants (Chinatown, Monterey Park, San Francisco, etc.) but just one bite I was floored! Party in my mouth! Who would’ve known it’s located in the middle of San Fernando Valley. The Cantonese pan fried chow mein was delicious!!! Not watery but savory. I can taste the freshness of the ingredients and crunchiness of the vegetables and toasted noodles. If you’re a foodie, pay a visit to this restaurant. Parking may be difficult but we got lucky today.

We were so excited to eat at this restaurant, Thats the end of that story. Server was confused about the menu and our questions. We ordered a big variety of foods. Server was nice but, he never brought us the eggrolls and we asked for that first. This started the tumble of unhappy events …we ordered pho with brisket and filet. Mystery meat arrived, it looked like stringy innards. Literally that white stuff is ligaments not noodles. We took them out and out in a bowl to show manager, Broth of pho was weak chicken broth with star anise. Nothing much else in bowl besides noodles.Banh mi was on soft sorta French roll, not a crunchy baguette. Filling for banh mi was none existent, tofu and mushroom? Hardly any inside, and we had to ask for more pickled carrots (they didnt have daikon ) i dont know and a few more shreds of cilantro and carrots arrived in the tiniest bowl. Weird! Not a banh mi. so dont botherChilds dinner was some week old, dried out old spicy chicken scraps. (Hello, kids do not like spicy or old dead meat!! ) The baby eggroll was filled with kitty pâté' the rice was mushy, child would not eat any of it!We ordered some fish turmeric over rice noodles. The toppings were non existent literally barely a teaspoon of chopped peanuts, some lettuce(lettuce?) and the fish was frozen fishy fish one bite and it was spit out.I ate some cooked onions out of the bowl. Really the food was worse than a drive in and not even that good. It was not edible. IT IS NOT VIETNAMESE FOOD. Friends ate most of the banh mi as they were starving. Nothing else was eaten or edible! Oh and did i mention we NEVER got the egg rolls. Waiter forgot to even write down as they were not on the bill which we disputed. Completely disappointed. We drove to InNOut we were starving.Response to owner: food not fresh!! Photos prove this opposite!! I am a chef, so impossible to deny the quality of every dish we got was despicable and unacceptable low quality, old, dried out and rubbery. If this is what you claim fresh??? Its a sad joke on us the customers.
Super Wok Chinese Restaurant

I just wanted to start off by saying this is my favorite childhood restaurant. I used to love coming here as a kid with my family because of the wonderful memories we would have here. Today, me and my man had came to dine in and it was the worst experience imaginable. We had came in we were browsing the menu at first and then decided to dine in. When we informed the front desk they let us know we could sit anywhere so we sat at a booth, by the time we sat down we had already made up our minds on what we had wanted. While we sat and waited it took 20 minutes for us to be helped. If it wasn't for my man getting a waiters attention we would've never been helped. Anyways, we ordered an appetizer (barbecue spareribs)Combination chow funOrange chickenHot and sour soupEvery food item was delicious. The wait time was ridiculous it took an additional 33 minutes for our food to get here. On top of that the waiter failed to stay on top of our drinks to a point where my man had to ask for a refill. The part that I found really upsetting was that the waiter had served the tables around us water before us when initially we were the ones that asked for the water. After finishing our meals we waited for the waiter to bring the check but we got tired of waiting so I went up and asked for the check, front desk informs me I have to go ask the waiter so I tell him I wanted to pay.. we walk over and he shows me the total and he hands me a tray with the receipt and 2 fortune cookies and he grabs to terminal to charge me so I pay and I hand him back the tray and he says tip and I told him “I'm sorry but no tip, you gave really bad service, we asked for water first and you gave water to a table that didn't ask for it before us”. He took back the fortune cookies and rolled his eyes so I walked away and proceeded to the front desk and he comes chasing after me saying “what do you need?” with an attitude. I just asked for 2 to go boxes and thanked him and walked away. Never have I ever had such a bad experience at a restaurant until today

Not very impressive but average and acceptable chinese cuisines. I would say the dumplings were average but the noodles would be only 2 out of 5 stars for their tastes. Probably wont return since I know other better chinese restaurants.

The remodel of this restaurant is so great! Its been a little bit since we were last here and it was very traditional Chinese restaurant decor previously. Its modern, bright, and feels spacious now. The food is just as delicious and perfectly prepared as before and reminds us why theyve been a staple in Northridge for so many years.Lunch special: Mongolian Beef with Hot and Sour soupVegetable Pan Fried Noodles add tofu
Ramen Nippon
6900 Reseda Blvd D, Reseda, CA 91335, United States
Ramen Nippon is one of our local favorites! The staff here is wonderfully friendly, welcoming and very courteous. The great thing is, its been Iike this for many years! The food here is outstanding. Excellent quality food and portions with affordable prices. We cant get enough of whichever broth we select here!Tonight we had the Edamame, Chashu Ramen and Curry Rice. There was so much food, we had to take a doggie bag home. The edamame came out perfectly steamed and lightly salted. The Chashu Ramen has a Shoyu-based broth. It was light and flavorful. The meat was tender and paired well with the scallions, egg and bamboo shoots. The Curry Rice has a flavor you cant shake. The curry alone has a delicious, spiced flavor to it that I cant describe. The rice has a southern comfort feel to it due to the grain used much like a rich, sticky rice texture. This is definitely one of our favorite spots and we will be back. The only downfall would be parking since it is located caddy-cornered in a tiny shopping center with a few parking spaces. You will have to find street parking. Other than that, we cant wait until our next visit!
