The best noodle in town!!!! A MUST-TRY noodle house in the east of LA County. There are many Chinese noodle restaurants in Rowland Heights area, but Miàn is on the top of them, period. I am eating in this restaurant three or four times per week, and never get tired on it. Pork Dumpling, Zajianh Noodle with Peas, Special Gizzard Noodle, OMG! You MUST TRY THEM!!!!

We have lunch in this 一碗粉 restaurant during lunch time.Their waiter told me to order it from the counter, and no any service was provided. After finished the lunch, I tipped $1 because I received no service and the meal was awful (I ordered the sour cabbage with noodle, but no sour cabbage inside). And they told me to clean up myself and gave me really bad attitude and face look.Well, be aware! This restaurant shouldnt receive better than 1 star. If anyone want to eat or try this, dont think about it, or you will be regret!

〖The only restaurant in the world with all negative reviews, awesome〗 There is really no other restaurant in the world that tastes so bad! I admire them all, the hygiene of the materials used is extremely disgusting, something serious will happen sooner or later, food poisoning is definitely inevitable, and the boss will probably have to pay for his pants! The waiter felt like a deceased relative, feeling very unhappy at work! Everyone is inefficient and slow! I guess the boss didn't pay enough! If you are unhappy, you can change your job. Why do you want your guests to feel your negative energy? Let's talk about the taste. It's really terrible. How could it be so unpleasant? Even people who don't know how to cook wouldn't make it so unpleasant. I guess the raw materials are not good and many things are sour! The old tofu almost made me cry. It is really the most delicious in the world!
Five Stars Noodles
18495 Colima Rd #2, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, United States
The best place for rice noodles.I recommend starting off with an appetizer :) Either the cucumber salad or potato salad. Its also a nice palette cleanser when you eat your entree. If you really want an authentic experience, try their old friend noodle soup. Ask for mild if youve never had it since it can be pretty spicy. It has bamboo and the taste is an experience- its different but in a really good way! I usually come back just to order a bowl. The service is nice and there is usually only one person serving but she is as attentive as she can be. Normally lots of seating available. I recommend! :)
NO. 1 NOODLE HOUSE
18246 Gale Ave STE B, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, United States
A quiet, humble restaurant with very very good food. Im actually more surprised not more people are talking about this place. If you like spicy (and I mean spicy) chinese noodles with lots of deep flavor and taste, this place is good. I ordered A3 and A5 beef noodle soups, as well as the A23 Dan Dan Noodles. Even on Medium Spicy, its pretty spicy. All their noodle dishes, whether its dry or soup, are full of flavor. Highly recommend a try. My sister in law flew to LA from Utah for a week, and insisted on coming to this restaurant before flying back. The restaurant is pretty quiet, and has a calm atmosphere, which is the only downside. Otherwise, great restaurant with great food.
Fang Kee Noodles
18438 Colima Rd #31, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, United States
Yin Ji Chang Fen is a below average restaurant. I had lunch there today. The dining room was a mess. Half of the front area looked like a storage room. The row of booths on the left had dated and torn benches. They bragged themselves as Chang Fen King 腸粉王. They did not even wrap the Chang Fen property. Food quality was below average. Yet, they were more expensive than many better restaurants in the area. They used microwave to reheat food. They were creative. The bowl for congee was half of a small take out white foam box. I will not visit them again.

Noodle To Go

I recently picked up some frozen to-go food from this shop and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The packaging was secure and made it easy to transport the food home. When I boil/cook the dishes up, they tasted just as fresh and delicious as if they had been made to order. The portion sizes were generous and I was able to get multiple meals out of each item. I particularly enjoyed the meatballs and dumplings. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and would definitely order from this restaurant again for their convenient frozen to-go options.
Zhangliang Spicy Hotpot (Rowland Heights)
1380 Fullerton Rd #104, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, United States
Somewhat different style of hotpot, if it can be considered this. An apt description of what kind of restaurant this is, is more of a create your own bowl place, where you just grab the various toppings/veggies/noodles/beef in whatever magnitude and order you want. However, note, theres a procedure that you need to do, which is not written anywhere or how to do anything here. The staff either dont really speak English, or they have a low mumble voice, either or, its very hard to communicate with them. They are also pretty rude and brash on the procedure of things and gets frustrated pretty quickly when you dont understand what theyre saying. You are supposed to sign up on the Yelp pad to get seated, though based on observation, they have no one coming out to seat anyone, even with tables empty. If you sign on the pad and find your own table, since youll need a place to sit after giving your order to them to cook, theyll get pretty pissy.Other than that, the food is priced at $13.99 per pound for soup bowls and $14.99 for bowl mix. What I find somewhat scummy is that the scale isnt rated so your end price also includes the bowls weight, which itself isnt light. The food itself was alright, they had some interesting toppings, which I didnt grab. Note that the Traditional Pork Bone broth has to come with some level of spice, which is suspicious, as if you had a traditional bone pork broth, you would want to let your clientele to taste the many hour simmered broth...unless they used powder to make their base and then use spicy oil to help cover that fact.Im not sure if Ill come back here again, even though the food was alright, as I think youll have a better experience elsewhere.

The bottom part is crispy and the top part is fluffy.original taste grade = Bcurry pork taste grade = B+and shrimp and leek pork taste grade = BFor me, the BEST pan fried bun STILL belongs to Kang Kang Shau May in the Rowland Heights (well, that was BEFORE Covid 19 Pandemic 5 years ago, HOPE it is STILL good)Beef pancake. Taste grade BIt is just standard. However, the sauce is TOO much, the pancake is not warm, and it is NOT cut all the way through. PLEASE IMPROVE on it.Service is attentive and friendly. Background music is the popular English songs you hear on the radio. It offers free Wi-Fi as well.It has unlimited refill for the lemon ice tea.Lastly, it offers a SURPRISE drawing box when you are paying your bill. You can get a free meal or other discounts, if you are lucky. In conclusion, we will be back for sure and I will invite my friends and family to try MORE dishes.Thank God for this restaurant.Thank my 美夢美Mo for this food adventure.
Gaos BBQ & Crab
1390 Fullerton Rd # 102, Rowland Heights, CA 91748, United States
The reason for so many 5-star reviews (Picture 1)First of all, the skewers chef in the kitchen is not Chinese. The way he sprinkles the ingredients seems neither light nor heavy, which makes the food taste extremely salty and spicy, completely losing the balance of barbecue. We ordered the red willow lamb, but all three of us had a sour taste and didnt dare to eat any more. The same goes for the chicken skewers, which had a distinct stale taste. The roasted leeks smell like vegetables with rotten edges that have been stored for several days. They are hard to chew and very dry. It is better to go to some DY tutorials (but scald them in boiling water before roasting...) (Picture 3)The baked potato slices were even more bursting, not at all the crispy texture I imagined. They were soft and full of toppings, making them difficult to swallow (Picture 2)The eggplant is not the garlic grilled eggplant that we are familiar with, but the tajin grilled eggplant that is closer to the Mexican style, sour, spicy and sweet. HahaThe roasted seitan was dry and tough, and the king of kings was just average. The only ones that were acceptable were the veal and lamb kebabs, but there was nothing particularly outstanding about them. The most delicious thing in the whole place was the melon seeds provided for free.
