Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant
342 Clovis Ave #101, Clovis, CA 93612, United States
Friday, 5/12/2023 - Took my beautiful mama out to eat at Four Season Chinese Restaurant for an early Mothers Day celebration. Address is 342 N Clovis Ave, Clovis, CA 93612. My 1st time there. Shes been there before. This restaurant, on a Friday, did not walk around with carts of hot foods and you can pick from it. You ordered off the menu. But I did gear they do that on the weekends. Upon arrival:Pros:1) lots of parking! But when we arrived, most parking spots were taken. We drove around looking for a parking spot.2) We were seated right away.3) our table, chairs, plates, utensils, cups, were all clean.4) our server was very nice. They even came and made sure we has our liquid refills.5) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste.6) we ordered a lot of dishes. To me, all the foods tasted good. They were made fresh.7) all the food dishes were very flavorful and nicely presented.8) there were these little eggroll looking things with powdered sugar and crunchy almonds on top. In the middle was a sweet cream filling. This dessert eggroll was pretty good. To me, it was a little too sweet. Still good tho. But to others, it was perfect.9)Cons:1) noneConclusion:I had a good experience at this restaurant. We had no issues. Our servers were all very nice. Hostess was very nice. Our foods were made fresh, Im sure of it. Cus when we got each dish, they were hot and some steamy. The little, soft, white buns for the duck was good. I could just eat those buns on its own. ? Server provided us to-go boxes for left overs. They didnt rush us to get out.
Great Wall Chinese Cuisine
1785 Herndon Ave #109, Clovis, CA 93611, United States
My first order with Great Wall Chinese Cuisine, Clovis let me know that this restaurant has very good food and excellent customer service: A friend really likes this Great Wall restaurant in Clovis so I went online to this restaurant, and ordered for pickup (not delivery). I ordered 3 items: chicken salad, egg foo young, and dinner #3 which contained several items including rice. My order notes asked that ALL rice be replaced with noodles - NO rice (food allergies). Food was ready earlier than expected. The order was well packaged, and smelled so good. At home I opened it and instead of Dinner #3, it was a TON of fried rice, some orange chicken but NO noodles anywhere, and none of the items of Dinner#3 -that I was really hungry for! It is now late Sat night. I called the restaurant, no mgr available. I told the very kind woman the situation. She apologized, said I would have to call Door Dash because order was placed there. I was surprised, did not know this was a Door Dash (DD) order, have never ordered from DD before. Called DoorDash, took way too long, they needed pics, emails etc,. After this very lengthy DD call, I think it is DD order site glitch that provided wrong info to restaurant. I Told DD that I did NOT want a refund, but rather the food I Ordered, but they would only process refund request. The 2 other ordered items, chicken salad and egg foo young were VERY GOOD. Next day (sunday) a Great Wall Cuisine manager called me, asked what they could do for me. I told them about last night’s order. Great Wall offered to provide the Dinner#3 that I ordered but did not receive. I gladly agreed, and drove to pick it up. The restaurant was very apologetic, and was very generous, with the volume of replacement. This Dinner #3 exceeded my expectations and was VERY VERY good. Great Wall Chinese Cuisine is Good Food, Good customer satisfaction.

If I can put zero stars I would, don't come to this place. We came to eat food and served ourselves and everything that was supposed to be hot food was cold and had been sitting out for hours. We a few bites of the orange chicken, other entry foods and it was very cold, hard and chewy like if it's been sitting out for hours. Then we tried to eat seafood which didn't even taste like seafood anymore, the first layer on top of the crab-cakes was hard and we still tried it. The food was all chewy and didn't taste edible to eat at all at that point so we didn't stay to eat their food. We asked for our money back from the cashier and instead of her reviewing our food on our plate she refused to return our money back. She argued with us for about 10 minutes and told other customers how rude we were which was very negligent about the situation.. When all we were asking was just a refund so we could leave and we did not eat the food from how unsafe it was to consume food that's been out of hours. This is very illegal to serve food like that and you do know it. The cashier lady was arguing with us for about 10 minutes or more which served no purpose about not refunding us because at the end of her argument she said we had to talk to the manager over the phone. We had to talk to a manager about the situation which he was rude and very careless about the whole situation but he gave us our money back which that's all we wanted so we could leave. My husband had to tell him how illegal it is to serve food like that, all the food had been sitting out for hours and was all cold. That can get people very sick and especially the seafood that's been sitting out for hours too. The manager said for us to never come back trust me we won't and he has a picture of us like if we were a problem when all they had to do was kindly give us our refund so we can leave. We will be calling the health department to take care of your restaurant which you shouldn't be operating in business for the health violation you knowingly know your breaking!! To the business owner, Please read the California code of ethics for food violations, which clearly you don't understand. Don't come to this place unless you want to get food poisoning, they will try to put up a argument with you if you ask for your money back. That's the only reason they gave us our money back is because they know this is a violation for their business.

This is an iconic institution in Clovis. It has been in business for decades. The food is prepared fresh when you order it, the portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. In my view, its the best Chinese food restaurant in California.

The restaurant itself exudes a welcoming ambiance with its beautiful interior design. The use of yellow in their décor creates a bright and inviting atmosphere, complemented by ample seating. The open chaat bar concept is a feature that I particularly enjoyed, allowing me to watch as many of the chaat dishes were freshly prepared right before my eyes. As an avid fan of Indian chaat, my expectations were high, and Im pleased to report that they were met and exceeded. The staff greeted me warmly upon entry and swiftly escorted me to a table. The owner/manager made a point to personally apologize for past closures, a gesture I appreciated for its sincerity. My order included Pani Puri (Gol Gappa), a butter chicken protein bowl, raita, their new chicken tacos, and a sweet lassi on the side. The Pani Puri was exceptional, with each piece boasting the perfect crunch and an explosion of flavors. The butter chicken protein bowl, accompanied by garlic naan, was both delicious and satisfyingly filling. The chicken tacos, a new addition to their menu, were a unique fusion. The owners openness to feedback and immediate implementation of my suggestions resulted in an improved version that was truly flavorful. The sweet lassi complemented the meal perfectly, offering a refreshing counterbalance to the spices. And to round off the meal, I indulged in an Indian-style coffee, which was a delightful end to my dining experience. The attentive service at Fusion Indian Cuisine & Chaat Corner was noteworthy. The staff frequently checked in on customers and were diligent in maintaining cleanliness, enhancing the overall experience.
