Aaron saved the stars from being zero. My order sat on the counter for at least 15 minutes, not under a heat lamp, just on the counter. When they called me the food was lukecool, I asked the female employee if the food was cold, she said no its hot. I touched the outside of the container and that was not what hot food feels like. The employee who gets all negative stars argued the food was hot with steam coming out of it,? Aaron came up and told me he had cooked it hot, which I understood he did, I was watching everything as I watched my food sitting there getting cold, other customers came, some called in ahead, a couple ordered there got their food and left. Aaron offered to cook it over and explained they want the customer to enjoy the food they order, and he would make it right. Another male employee offered me something to drink, while I was waiting. Although I declined, I thought that was nice. I went and sat back in the car and got to thinking, what was I doing, I didnt want them cooking my food over, I rushed back, and said thats okay Ill take it like it is, I could reheat it... The female employee, sounded exasperated and said something to the effect of are you serious??? They said she just threw it in the trash. I do not believe in sending food back, Id rather give it to my dog than send it back. The stars are for Aaron, and the food taste good. I might go back.

I love this store! Reliable for anything you need, styles, they carry name brand item for years! The tee shirts, mens underwear (their brand) last and last.. their stores are always clean, displays are eye catching, Here in our desert, they carry swimsuits, sandals etc..Its so hard when everyday is 100° and above to even THINK of wearing long sleeves, sweaters, blouses, shirts for all, good shoes.Their choices of jewelry, the REAL DEAL and the it would go perfect with my outfits are there. There is a hair salon downstairs, eye glasses and photography studio. The store has divided sections, women items are upstairs, and shoes. Downstairs is the Mens Dept, Linens, childrens, AND THE BATHROOMS.:) There is an elevator and a middle of the store escalator up and down. The elevator is located lower level around the corner from the hair salon. They cut men, childrens and womens hair.Their prices are good and they ALWAYS have good sales. SAFORA make up store is upstairs a really cool store! ALL IN ALL, the smiles, the hellos, would you like some help?As you can see, I truly love this store.Located on the east side of the Westfield Mall.

We ordered our meals on the panda express site and choose delivery. Our food arrived with NOT all the items we paid for were delivered. We called the store location who first told us it was not their problem and we should call door dash. I asked would I call door dash when i ordered from Panda Express, paid Panda Express directly and Panda ordered and paid door dash, we did not. After going thru three people on the phone i got Lindsay who said she was the manager. She argued with me and said she knows they gave door dash the correct order and insinuated that door dash stole the food. She claimed that woman did it. She said she would call door dash to investigate and call us back, which of course never happened. We have no refund, no food and beyond horrible customer service. This isnt over as I will call Panda Headquarters in the morning. What is over is using Panda Express ever again. Sorry I had to give them a one. Zero would have been better.

The quality of food in this place was exceptional. That is not why the rating is so low. We encountered a very ill trained supervisor who was in capable of communicating a basic order for food.To be more specific she demanded that we choose our food before the first portion was served, we wanted to have the food side served and then choose after it was put into our plate. She got annoyed and angry because we were not making our choices quickly. I know that this restaurant is capable of training better employees. This was a small misstep in communication that was vital and should not have happened from a supervisor! I will definitely consider changing my rating if this is corrected by retraining the employee and her communication skills. Thank you.
City Wok
72840 CA-111 W400, Palm Desert, CA 92260, United States
13 days in Palm Desert and I’m really missing my Korean Cuckoo rice cooker. I researched various Chinese restaurants in Palm Desert and was impressed with City Wok’s website claims: “our sauces are homemade. We never use MSG. We believe in Clean…” Since all dishes are supposedly made-to-order, we felt that we should be able to order something without garlic in the sauce or content. The interior has more of a California Club ambiance than Chinese Restaurant. The host and servers are friendly enough though. We ordered Chicken Satay, Steamed+ Fried Chicken Dumplings. Braised Tofu was in the online menu, but not showing on the dine-in menu, but they agreed to make it for us. Upon request, they made our dishes without garlic, including the braised tofu. The chicken satays were already marinated with garlic and cannot be changed. First to arrive were the steamed fried dumplings which were ok as European dumplings, but not delicate enough as Chinese dumplings. Parts of the dumplings with double dough were under steamed and tough – this would never have happened in a proper Shanghai restaurant as they would have steamed or boiled the dumplings more thoroughly before frying to get the soft & moist but crispy texture. The house-made sauce was very pleasant. The chicken satays were a big surprise, we expected delicate pieces of chicken tenders on skewers, instead, they were four chicken breasts, each on a stick. The garlic was light and not detectable at the restaurant but the garlic effects was still noticeable long afterwards. The breasts were not tough, on the dry side, and BBQ’d too long, burnt like Portuguese BBQ chicken instead of tender and juicy like Malaysian/Thai/ satays. The difference may be in the size of each piece, since they are so big, they would naturally have to be cooked longer. Because they were so gigantic, it was not possible to enjoy them like bite-size appetizer satays. The rice was a bit dry (not enough water) some people like their rice tough, we prefer our rice more steamy & soft. The tofu dish was OK, again, not very authentic, the bamboo shoots were the toughest Ive ever had. Our server was a very nice lady and always approached our table with a smile. She alone gets five stars. The inside section where we sat felt like a fast food place – a different feel than the patio. Unfortunately, all the outside tables were taken. One thing I forgot to try was the half size, it would have been a great idea for the chicken skewers and actually everything else as we left half the chicken and tofu as neither of us enjoy this kind of left over Chinese food as it would have been two greasy on the second day.
TK Donuts

Theres multiple employees in the Back but theres only one employee that comes out in the front; No matter how many people are waiting in line. One time I asked her for a water After purchasing my food and she took 5 minutes helping other people to finally get my water that only took 5 seconds to get. Why would someone help somebody else that knows is going to take 5 minutes Why the persons picking out their food place in in the bag with paper fork And ringing them up at the register while waiting for the person to pull their money out it would only took 5 seconds! for my water why did she made me wait 5 minutes for somebody else?!
Tea Be Honest
72270 CA-111 B-7, Palm Desert, CA 92260, United States
I understand, Tea be honest just opened and problems do exist things dont go as smoothly. For a business that wants to stay open in the Coachella valley they should strive a little harder to complete orders in a timely manner and actually be kind to a customers who are new to their menu..which I believe to be a little vague and can cause misunderstanding. While working in the food/drink service questions will be asked by customers, but the girl at the counter didnt feel the need to answer questions and when she did it was applied with a pompous attitude. Maybe some customer service training courses are needed to handle guest in a proper manner. The employees who are supposed be hard at work making your drinks are too busy waiting on a blender which only two are available at a time and there is a line of people. So do the math you will be waiting forever..The employees seemed more concerned with turning up the music in the establishment which is a method use by individuals who dont care and want people out. I dont if they are trying to create a relaxing/calming ambiance but its the complete opposite feeling when you have the music blasting, again customer service skills are needed at this place. The drinks were bad mediocre at best my family and I waited a total of one hour for 4 different beverages which when we all felt were not great. Despite the experience we still tipped the employees but we will never return due to the poor service, bad drinks, just a bad experience I wouldnt put anyone thru.

Blazing King BBQ & HOTPOT
72600 Dinah Shore Dr, Palm Desert, CA 92211, United States
As residents of Rancho Mirage, my partner and I were eager to try the newly opened Blazing King BBQ & HOTPOT. However, our visit took a turn for the worse, leaving us deeply disappointed.I recently visited Blazing King BBQ & HOTPOT in Palm Desrt, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the initial wait time for seating was reasonable for a party of two, the service that followed was truly disappointing.Upon being seated, the decline in our experience became apparent. Despite being seated ahead of a party of six, we were left waiting with menus in hand, without any acknowledgment from the staff. Even as the table of six near us was promptly attended to and had their orders taken, my party was left unattended for over 20 minutes.Adding to the frustration, the lack of water or even basic courtesy during the wait was noticeable. What stood out most was the restaurants policy regarding gratuity for larger parties, which seemed to influence the waitstaffs priorities. The table of six, subject to an automatic 19% gratuity, received immediate attention, while our table of two was overlooked. The menu indicated that a 19% gratuity would automatically be applied to parties of six or more. This appeared to influence the waiters priorities, as the larger group received immediate attention, leaving us wondering about the fairness of the service.Even more disappointing was the waiters apparent selective engagement. Despite making eye contact, the waiter neglected to approach our table, leaving us without answers to questions or guidance on ordering. After 20 minutes of patiently waiting, we reluctantly made the decision to leave and informed the hostess of our choice to dine elsewhere.Regrettably, the lack of concern from the staff upon our departure was disheartening. As residents who were excited to support a new addition to our citys dining scene, our experience left us with no intention of returning to Blazing King BBQ & HOTPOT.In contrast, our go-to spot, YouGrill in La Quinta, consistently delivers outstanding service and a more enjoyable dining experience. The disappointment of this visit only solidifies our preference for establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction. In conclusion, the lackluster service, unequal treatment of tables, and overall disregard for our experience at Blazing King BBQ & HOTPOT left us with a negative impression. As much as we wanted to support a local venture, we cannot recommend this restaurant to others seeking a satisfying dining experience.
Mitchs on El Paseo Prime Seafood
73951 El Paseo, Palm Desert, CA 92260, United States
Tonight, we dined at Mitchs on the El Paseo and Portola in Palm Desert. The place was packed! Outdoors we noticed a great beautiful white bougainvillea, which arent that common. Weve been many times here. There were five of us dining tonight, sitting outdoors in the evening. A bitter wind came up, and we all got chilly. But then they turned on these beautiful heaters. And we suddenly noticed that all the booths were lighted up and had been recovered in a new delightful, fresh print. Our waitress, Mallory, who weve had many times before, was her usual cheery self. Small complaint, despite specifically asking them to time the courses, they came on top of each other, and we did feel rushed. Our host bought a nice bottle of Pinot Grigio (See pic), which was excellent. It wasnt Silver Oak excellent, but very nice. For starters, the other guests split Caesar salads, our host had his favorite soup, French Onion. He noted they put chives in which is abnormal, but he thought tasted ok. I had the Caprese Salad, which was beautifully presented with Heirloom Tomatoes and Burrata cheese. The burratta was not as smooth as in past but still yummy. For entrees, the host ordered the duck and thought it was delicious; his date had an enormous pork chop (See pic), which was served with potatoes and green beans. She said it was on the borderline of being too well cooked, but was ok. The other two guests both had the filet mignon, which I double-checked was cooked a true Medium Rare. I had two orders of sushi, California roll 6 piece, and Crunchy Tempura (also known as a Carburator Roll) 12 piece. Couldnt eat the CA rolls and took those home (too full). We declined dessert & coffee but I took pix of the menu. Enjoy!
