Nopagow Thai Restaurant
2551 E Ave S K, Palmdale, CA 93550, United States
Spent $80 on delivery for my whole family and got two forks for a huge order. Called the restaurant to ask how that made any sense and was told they assume Im at a house with utensils when Im not. ASSUME... How do you spell that? Whats the saying? And told me we can wash and reuse the utensils. He said they can choose to give their customers as many utensils as they want. I explained to him that Im staying at a hotel temporarily as a first responder due to COVID. And explained that I shouldnt have to ask concierge to bring me utensils when they arent even serving food due to covid. Why even give two if you feel you dont need to give the appropriate amount and assume Im at a house not a business... And assume I have utensils. If I was at home I would cook and use my own utensils. I explained Im eating your food for delivery for convenience. Thats why restaurants have napkins and utensils. Convenience. I told him I still tip good and give great ratings and support mom and pop restaurants as my family has the same history, and I ran a restaurant myself. He said word for word I dont care if you ran a restaurant or not.... Great response to a customer who is sharing their frustrations. Obviously he doesnt understand how the industry is supposed to be run. I told him I understand his frustrations and his POV also but if thats how he wants to end the conversation then so be it. He just was silent... I had to say hello? You still there?. He just said. . Yeah. So I just said ok have a good night. And he just hung up on me. I dont even know how the food tasted because Ive lost my appetite at this point. I cant support a business run by someone who cant control his temper and look at situations with empathy and from the view of their customers, the people who literally feed their families and support their business making them money. Thanks for supporting your local first responders, with your aggressive attitude and zero sense of customer satisfaction, lack of empathy, and complex that stops you from giving a simple apology. I told him straight forward Im not looking for a refund or discount or any compensation. He was silent. Not even a half or fake apology. Good job. Hope your ratings get even worse as you are already rated very low in comparison to your other Thai restaurant competitors in the area. Karma.

Just for future reference and for future customers....be very aware that this establishment DOES NOT provide you with napkins or utensils and you MUST ask for it. There is NO SIGNS informing you of this. Its already tough that COVID19 has an impact on those constantly working the field and the front lines...especially when youre tasked to work in the middle of nowhere... you order a bowl of noodles with normal expetations to have at least some sort of utensils and a napkin. Especially when customers are not allowed to dine-in and your only option is take out ... at least have some peace of mind to provide napkins and utensils. If i remember correctly, this is standard protocol with most take-out.
Chinese Gourmet Express
1233 W Rancho Vista Blvd, Palmdale, CA 93551, United States
This Chinese food is located in the food court of the Antelope Valley Mall, so its not going to be anything fancy, but the food here is without a doubt the best mall Chinese Ive had. I came here with my family and we all got different entrees in our combos, and each one was flavorful and delicious. Most of these places have a few decent entrees and a bunch of just ok ones. I would take this over Panda Express any day of the week and the chow mein is the best Ive had from one of these quick service type spots. I hope they are able to stay open with the state of the malls these days.
Dragon Express Chinese Restaurant

Ok, the place inside doesnt have the fanciest decor....but this place rocks! They push so much food in a 1 - 3 item plate or bowl that they can barely close the top. The food they serve buffet style is pretty good. The chow mein isnt my favorite, but they make up for it with the orange chicken, bbq pork, mushroom and szechwan (sp?) chicken. Very reasonably priced especially for what they give you. Two people can share a 2 or 3 item $6.00 plate and be full. You can order a la carte which is really good to amazing. The paper wrapped chicken is crazy crazy good. The egg foo young with the sauce they have is also delicious. It took me several times going back before I realized you can order anything chinese that isnt in the buffet...its just a little more in line with the pricing you see at any other good chinese restaurant. The owners are really nice, hard working, and caring people. I appreciate an owner who cares about their customers and quality...and thats why we go back almost weekly.

It was difficult to find a good, authentic chinese restaurant in palmdale that was not too far.and then we found panda wok! before the pandemic, this restaurant was always busy but never crowded as most orders were carry out. their lobby is not too big but nice to hang out in.the food is delicious!! they have several combo options and the plates are packed tight.great food for a great value!we have also gotten the boba thai tea which we pretty much drank all summer long. so good.employees are efficient and friendly. they are very generous and we are lucky to have them here in palmdale.we have ordered their food thru delivery apps but i prefer to go and pick up my orders. the apps dont list all their items.is always a place to eat at when you find yourself in palmdale! they never disappoint ?

Uuuugh never again!! Always too crowded and not enough people working the counter. And they rush you to order when I can’t even see the entrées from where I’m standing in line! As I was looking at the entrées to decide what I wanted, The girl started helping the next customer when I wasn’t even done ordering ? Then the girl suggested some eggrolls and I told her to throw two in there and they didn’t!! So I paid extra for something I did not receive! And the worst part of all is that they skimp you on the food!! They don’t give you enough at all! It cost more than the REAL Chinese food restaurants, which I will be going to for now on because there they are not hesitant to give you more than enough food which is what I like because you get what you pay for. I will never spend another dime on panda express again. Zero satisfaction ????????????

There were five if us,and we decided to eat here and we were pleased with the food.We all got 2 choices with our rice or chow mein noodles. The dishes were warm and seemed fairly fresh for the most part. Some of us got vegetable spring rolls as there are also chicken spring rolls and another got fried shrimp.I got kung pao chicken and honey walnut glazed shrimp with my chow mein. The kung pao was not over the top spicey and the honey walnut shrimp were good and I liked the texture of both dishes. The sweet and sour sauce was hot and flavorful and went well with everything. The staff was personable and polite during our order process. The only reason I am giving this place a 4,is because I had to wipe crumbs off the table myself which were visible from the counter where we were ordering our food which was like ten feet away so they werent small crumbs, and we all know that can be a bit of a turn off.

Palmdales finest Chinese restaurant.
House of Joy Restaurant
14745 Palmdale Rd, Victorville, CA 92392, United States
House of Joy is a classic Chinese restaurant like what you see in a Hollywood film or one you may have visited growing up. It reminds me of some of the local places available to us growing up in West L. A. near China Town. The ingredients are fresh, the sauces are unique but not far from traditional flavors and the dishes they offer will certainly meet your expectations. They serve up all the classics and a variety of house items like Peking wings, House of Joy chicken and many others. The portions are generous, the wait staff is very attentive and prices are reasonable. Pay House of Joy a visit and enjoy some good Chinese cuisine.
