I’ve been dining there since 1980, and the incredible consistency and superior quality of the food hasn’t changed one bit. It’s superb, and the service and humor exchanged among the regulars and staff is remarkably entertaining!! If you are looking for the finest quality ingredients, with a marvelously diverse menu, then head over to the Mandarin House ASAP!! You too...will become a regular! ✨

Came in at 5:15 and they had half a serving of old, fried rice and 1/4 serving of noodles, some orange chicken and the saddest looking serving of broccoli beef. Everything else was cleaned out and put away. I asked if they would make new stuff to order. They said they only had what was left out since they close at 6. You would think that they would start the final clean up after they close but they essentially close out the store at 5pm (prime dinner time) and try to sell the leftovers.

My Mom and I have been waiting so long for this place to open, and we were finally able to try it today. The wait was worth it! Boba milk tea was not sweet and the boba was the perfect consistency. I'm not a seafood eater, but have been wanting to try takoyaki since I saw it in my favorite anime years ago, and man, Kungfu Noodles did not disappoint! There were at least two pieces of calamari in my piece of takoyaki and I couldn't even tell it was seafood - It was delicious! The beef noodle soup is (since I'm currently eating it) so good: It smells amazing, the beef tastes so good and doesn't have any fat, the broth is so good and the noodles are thin and tasty. The complimentary mango smoothie was very impressive and tasted so good too! Mom said we'll have to go back and try the taro :) My family and I will definitely go back to sample the rest of the small but delicious (I'm sure) menu :) The staff was kind and friendly too. Thank you for dinner!

Excellent pancit. The lumpia was just o/k. I still dont understand why Filipino restaurants use Chinese egg roll wrappers instead of genuine Filipino lumpia wrappers?? It makes all the difference in the world. If I wanted an egg roll, I would go to a Chinese restaurant and buy an egg roll. We got there about an hour before they closed so couldnt try the adobo because all of that food was already sold out or too late to cook more. Now lets get to the chicken. The chicken is cooked to order. It is broasted which means its lightly coated with batter and deep fried in a pressure cooker. This seals the juices in because it crisps the outside of the chicken as soon as its dropped in. It takes about 15 minutes to cook the chicken so if you think youre gonna order and walk out the door with your food, think again. Filipinos have cooked chicken this way forever and it is amazing!! All you need is a few pieces of this chicken, some pancit and steamed rice and you are good to go.

Not just a pho place, they have all around good food and a friendly staff.My wife and I got take out here the other day because she was craving soup. I agreed because they also had egg rolls and Banh Mi. The staff was super friendly and helpful after their online ordering system went down.We got take out so only saw the inside shortly but it was clean and orderly. The theme is fun and it definitely looks like a place Id sit down for lunch.The food was great! I got the beef Banh Mi and was surprised of its quality and depth of flavor. The veggies were fresh and the beef was tender and flavorful. All on a fresh roll. Im excited to try the other flavors. Also, these are large sandwiches, about an 8 from Quiznos. The egg rolls were good as usual. Unexpectedly the shrimp wonton rolls were great! Large fresh shrimp in a crispy wonton wrapper, getting those again. My wife, with her abnormal love of spicy food, was able to get them to make her soup hotter than I would be able to eat (and I like spicy). She loved it though and wants to go every day. If youre a normal person their hot is a good spicy soup.While picking up I found that they offered a hot pot to go menu. This looks like a blast and the wife and I will by trying it next time. I added a picture of that menu since I didnt see it on her before we ordered.Overall its a great place that I would highly recommend for soup and much more.

It enveloped me like a comforting warm blanket & my stomach softly rumbled out of delight & anticipation. Their atmosphere is very friendly, with a warm & inviting, nostalgic decor, reminiscent of good times spent with family & friends. I noticed immediately how clean it was, from the shiny polished floors that theyve meticulously kept up for over 20+ years, since the first day they opened. (I asked). I politely asked to use their restrooms which I was pleased & relieved to find very well kept up & sanitized. Mama always said if a bathroom is clean, then a kitchen follows suit! Thanks Mom!It felt very comfortable in the Roxbury & when I sauntered back towards the entrance, a hostess/ server came up to me ushering me to a table with a menu available. Nice!They are a meat lovers paradise! But they do have a good selection of Vegetarian dishes & choices. I always look for that since my Mom is a vegetarian. Yaaay. They also have dishes that are prepared without wheat flour. I have gluten allergies & I can easily select dishes from their extensive menu to suit my needs. So Im ok if a place has or doesnt have that option.***Roxbury more than delivers on quality of really great food, without having to even say it. Their prices are more than reasonable, not only for the high quality of their product, but also the quantity they serve. Im not really sure how they can come out ahead with such generous servings & they roast, broast, smoke, fry & prepare top cuts of real meat & serve top quality breads & rolls, etc, like a restaurant should & what you expect from such a high-quality deli & grill establishment that the Roxbury is & has been for well over 20+ years!They have 14 different salads alone & with generous serving sizes: Caesar, Cobb, Chef, Greek, Italian, Poultry, Tuna, Fresh Fruit, Fried Chicken, Santa Fe Western, Shrimp & Avocado, Grilled Steak, Bleu Cheese Wedge, Chinese Chicken SALADS!!!They have a wide selection of fresh in-house specially prepared choices of very flavorful & savory meat dishes from beef, pork, chicken, pastrami, corned beef, meatloaf, top sirloin steaks, even liver & onions, if thats to your liking!
