Found this place doing a tour of Salinas. A place I have not visited in years.Excellent atmosphere. A lot of very good food, served quickly and hot.We got the dinner #3 for 2. If you love left overs that get better the next day, this is a place to go.I will, if I come back to Salinas, definitely visit again.Did I mention, i believe, it was 2016, this place was ranked #8 of 100 best Chinese restaurants in the U.S.?There, I did. Definitely worth a try.

Casual Chinese restaurant with amazing service. From what Ive heard, the regular server was away for a month so, they had help from the owners daughter. She was truly amazing! We wanted to order something that was not on the menu and was able to special order it with no issues at all. This was our first time eating here and we were definitely happy we chose this establishment. We ordered salt and pepper squid (special order), general tso chicken, pork fried rice and shrimp with (Chinese) broccoli. Not only was the service great, the food was also delicious, to top it all off, prices were definitely fair. We know some restaurants that would have charged us double of what we spent with mediocre tasting dishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Hope they keep up their great food and excellent customer service.

This is a small chinese, vietnamese restaurant in a strip mall. Very attentive service. There is a lot of selection, very surprising considering the size of the restaurant. I enjoyed my meal very much oh, I did choose Vietnamese food as that is my favorite. The prices are extremely reasonable. I would recommend this place if you are alone or with a group.

Love this place so much ? been coming here since I was a kid and the food is still great. I think they have new owners? Not sure but the food is still delicious! The customer service is great too, very kind workers. I dont know why people are complaining about the wait time in the comments... This isnt fast food its a Chinese restaurant. They will be cooking the food for you, its worth the wait. But I do think they take longer when you are eating in the restaurants as opposed to pickup. Every restaurant does this honestly..If you dont want to wait too long, one tip I can give you is to order for pickup. I always order for pick up. They tell me it will be ready in 15-20min. It takes me about 25min to get there and my food is always ready by the time I arrive. This giant order I placed was ready when I arrived (it took me about 25min to get there.)

This place is by far the only good chinese restaurant in Salinas, the only. Sort of oily rice but its good with some lemon sauce and hot sauce. Everything else is fairly tasty. For those of you comparing it to a Mexican reataurant, you need to go eat at a Mexican Restaurant. Try Watsonvilles Delicias and The Frijolito, then youll know its far from Mexican ^=^! The employees are soooo sweet, youll like the attentiveness. Just remember, theyre busy! so dont expect them to dedicate their lives to you. Chinese House wasnt opened for you, its for everyone so play fair ;) Okay bye!

We really enjoy eating here. Its our favorite Chinese food restaurant in Salinas, CA.The young man that took our order was very nice and professional. He checked in with us often and was not the kind of waiter that tends to be intrusive. He was polite, quiet and friendly at the same time.The food stands for itself!The flavor, presentation and texture are just amazing!!I would highly recommend eating here for some comfort food.

Do NOT support this Panda Express!! They refuse to give you a few extra pieces of chicken if you ask...which is against corporates policy, and they do not give 10% off to veterans and first responders.The shift leader lied to my face about the discounts. I am a first responder, and I showed my ID and asked for 10% off, and she refused and said that they do not give discounts to veterans. She claimed that no Panda Expresses give discounts which I pointed out was a lie, then she said Panda Expresses in California do not give discounts to veterans which I also told her was a lie, and then she went on to say that their specific Panda does not give discounts to service members. I know she was lying because I used to work for Panda Express, and it is in Pandas handbook to give discounts to first responders. This Panda is the WORST Panda I have ever been to; they need to fire the entire management team of this location!

Daily there is a steady flow of customers. There are small Windows of time that is not crowded. Short and expedient line during the mornings. No breakfast this served.The various times I attended this location they had a continuous shortage of chow mein or fried rice. It is understandable since it is a very popular dish. The staffs pressure is understandable as it is a food service industry job. You may find the times the employees rushing or noticeably agitated.Photos this reasons and others you might find that the best way of acquiring your food with a considerable temperature you might want to consider ordering online skip the line and pick up your order. I believe that in order for a line to flow well please have your order already in mind before you get to the counter. When ordering make sure you take your time do not feel rushed take command and control of your order you are spending your well earned dollars.Is a staff accommodates me with just a simple smile and politeness I am more likely to leave them a tip since its getting difficult to get efficient service.The food is cooked with the all around standard good quality taste that all the restaurants from the all across the restaurants from the franchise. The orange chicken could use a bit less sauce overwhelming and quite thick at times nevertheless the meat is cooked through the middle and through. One of my favorites from this location is the walnut shrimp. ( Could also use less caramelized sauce) . I need you to help me find honey I wont tell me about yourself always consistent with a white and fried rice. Chow mein is one of the childrens favorite.Plenty of parking always felt safe well late during the night. One of my go-to Panda Express in our local area.

I attempted to buy a Thai iced tea (bubble tea) here, as it's my fav drink!! I've made it at home before so I know that it's brewed. Here, it's made with a powder. It did not taste right. Furthermore, they keep their tapioca bubbles in the cups on the counter and when I ate one, it crumbled like chalk in my mouth. Not worth $5.45! I hadn't even left the restaurant, I turned right around and asked for my cash back. The gal refused. I told her to get her manager. She cave back and told me there are no refunds without a receipt, which she saw me throw in the trash next to the counter!! I was the only person in the place and she had literally just served me! Her manager finally came out and authorized a refund. Terrible service and nasty powdery chalky bubble tea! Not recommended!
