We came here during Christmas holiday. This restaurant is really a pleasant surprise when other restaurants around South Lake Tahoe ask outrageous price for literally fast food quality food and even one dollar a cup of hot water in one of the cafe we visited. This restaurant offers buffet for you know what, 10 dollars and the food includes everything you may see in a typical Chinese buffet, however, in a vacation resort city. The food quality is not bad. Let me tell you in most other restaurant even an appetizer cost more than that. In a freezing cold winter unlimited cups of hot soup is certainly life saver. I really enjoy the food there and will definitely recommend to anyone passing by South Lake Tahoe.

This was our second visit here. We enjoyed the food when we visited Tahoe last year, and it was just as good this year.We were greeted by the same energetic and friendly waitress that helped us last time.The atmosphere is clean and inviting, cozy tables.We were super hungry after a day at the lake, so we ordered the dinner for two.First to arrive was the most delicious Won Ton soup! It was hot and tasty and packed full of wontons, shrimp, mushrooms, pork, and veg. Practically a meal in itself. The usual fried won tons, egg roll, fried shrimp were all good. The paper wrapped chicken tasted amazing. We really tried to pace ourselves so we would have room for our entrees!I had the Mu Shi pork, which I loved. Always my favorite at Chinese places, and this didnt disappoint. My husband got the Scallops in Oyster sauce. Presented on a bed of broccoli with carrots and snow peas and bell peppers. It tasted fine, but afterwards he thinks maybe he should have ordered the Szechuan or Kung Pao Scallops for a spicier flavor.As it turned out, there was so much food we took so much with us, we had enough for dinner the next night as well (gotta love hotel rooms with in-room fridge and microwave!), so great value for what we paid.We will definitely make it a point to eat here again next time we are in Tahoe!

Its the only neighborhood place left in Walnut Creek and the food is fantastic! If you ask my parents then the Mu Shu Pork is the best, while I like anything in their black bean sauce! YUM! When the shopping center tried to kick them out by upping the rent ...the entire community came out and wait in a line all the way down the shopping center, around the corner down the block and into the next street in protest. It was seriously awesome! And thats why we can all still eat our fave Walnut Creek Chinese today at Encina Shopping Center in Walnut Creek, CA! It was quite a site & a bit of a wait ... but to save everyones favorite place that wasnt in the crowded, annoying, more snooty (all of the Dub-C is but the area surrounding Mt. Diablos Northern Gate is the only place that still resembles where I spent half my life and that definitely includes Jade Garden!! If youre ever driving by Encina Shopping Center (theres now a Whole Foods where Safeway used fo be and the new hella lame Safeway is across the street) I highly recommend stopping at Jade Garden. You wont be disappointed!!

My first impression was when I came in 5 employees just standing there not doing anything. The food display counter is half empty most of the food they look old and dried out. This place is more like Mexican restaurant than Chinese. Worse Chinese food Ive ever had would never go back.

Nice place to eat Indo-Chinese. Good food quality and quantity.Must try Veg and Chicken Momos ? ? but it takes around 20-25min for momos. We got this appetizer almost when we where finishing main course dish.I guess it’s family operated restaurant, so less staffed continuously running to fulfill the customers requests. So be humble if they are late, as they are also handling doordash results.I didn’t like chicken pakora so I would not recommend it.Definitely restaurant needs more staff to fulfill customer requests on time.Overall all good. Must visit this place if you are in Tahoe.

The miso soup was so amazingly warming on a cold Autumn day. I wish the veggie gyoza had a better filling, it tasted like the egg roll filling you get at any cheap Chinese restaurant. The sushi rolls were interesting in flavor and I liked that there was a wide variety of vegetarian rolls.

This is a new place but I dont really believe they have full fledged Vietnamese food in my opinion. The menu to me looks like a chinese restaurant. I asked for simple substitution of changing the white rice to fried rice and they didnt want to do that for me but it luckily they did. At least switch to give me chalmain noodles which they didnt want to fry though. I think the location is pretty good for what theyre doing. Theres a nice view of Tahoe lake and a lot of locals were starting to come in so they will probably do OK but Im not. Personally a fan of this place they need to expand their menu and make it more like real thai food.

The food was awesome. Service was on point. They even gave me a complimentary chocolate cake since it was my birthday dinner.I would have given them 5 stars but….. for a pricey steakhouse, the place was as noisy or even noisier than a Chinese restaurant on any given day.On June 4, 2021, Two tables of all drunk females were so obnoxiously out if control the entire time, they even were shouting and screaming on their way out.It was disappointing how management let it pass.

Solid stop for Pho. It was served hot and fast. Good flavor, fresh ingredients. There was nothing that stood out as great or bad, just what I’d expect from this type of restaurant. They do have some classic “American” Chineses popular dishes on the menu too.
