P.F. Changs
900 Stanford Shopping Center Bldg. W, Palo Alto, CA 94304, United States
Not real Chinese...but the foodis fresh & edible. Pricey for whatyou get. Kind of ridiculous to callthis Chinese food. If you knowgood chinese food, it is wortha one time only stop....but youmay not be please with the bill, nor the lack of seasoning. The pleasant service is also kindof opposite of what you wouldexpect in most Chinese restaurants.
Panda Express
459 Lagunita Dr, Stanford, CA 94305, United States
The food at this Panda Express location is generally pretty good, although the quality can vary significantly from day to day. The food can be very wet one day and extremely dry another, although it is generally well prepared. The orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and teriyaki chicken (w/ teriyaki sauce packets) are all good options, with the orange chicken being the most consistent in both quality and taste. However, the service is lacking, and I have had numerous experiences where my pickup order isn't right (i.e. missing food, sauce packets, and utensils on delivery and pickup). The staff is also often unfriendly with their customers, and the wait can be quite long (even for pick up orders, where the food is already prepared).Overall, the atmosphere is quite nice. The space is very clean and has plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. It is usually pretty easy to find a seat indoors, although during lunch hours it may be easier to find a seat outdoors. It is also not too loud inside, even during peak hours (lunch).Overall, the food and atmosphere at this Panda Express are pretty good, although I would make sure to check my order before paying/leaving, as they have often gotten my order wrong.
Chang Bros
6160 Stanford Ranch Rd #100, Roseville, CA 95678, United States
This was the worst chinese take out We have ever had . We come from the bay area where we which has really good Chinese restaurants .We are 78 years old and are experienced Chinese food eaters . Never have we ever been so dissatisfied with Chinese food. We ordered sweet-and-sour shrimp and what we got is a bowl of what was supposed to be sweet and sour sauce which was Runny and clear and the shrimp (which I don’t have a photo of, which I regret )because we threw it away was breaded with this huge fluffy amount of breading withA tiny rubbery tough piece of shrimp inside. We ordered Kung pow chicken and broccoli beef which both were so so the beef almost tasted like it was soy instead of beef it had no texture it was soft and kind of slimy I’m not sure if it was beef my husband actually like the beef you said it was tender. I didn’t think it even tasted like beef. This restaurant has some decent ratings but I would never go back. The staff was polite and they had a difficult time understanding what I wanted over the phone. They did get the order right. They were very polite.
GK Mongolian BBQ
6661 Stanford Ranch Rd Suite Q, Rocklin, CA 95677, United States
This is a new Mongolian BBQ that took over from what used to be Mongo GO-GO BBQ The owners retired to spend more time with family and perhaps do other things. Anyway, see.s timing is the key. Trying GK fornthe first time around 6pm, there was only 1 person at a table. We had 5 of us and then more families started coming in to have some GK.The hostest/server asked us for any drinks to get for us. Then after we sat down, we were given the options of included sides (plate of Cheese Rangoon, Crispy Wong Tongs and Fried Pot Stickers. Also included is a cup of Steamed Rice and cup of Soup. The selections for the veggies were minimal compared to the previous establishment. The sauce and the meat selection available are the usual. All in all, being serviced as we were, is excellent and the food was pretty good. With all that said, I will give a solid 5 stars rating for GK Mongolian BBQ that not only the service was spot on, the food delicious and for the fact that they are happy to honor veterans everyday.with a discount. Thank you so much GK. This is great.

Ph Vegan Asian Cuisine
6661 Stanford Ranch Rd E, Rocklin, CA 95677, United States
We had the Filipino pancit, orange chicken, lemon grass tofu, and fried rice. The orange chicken veggie meat was rubbery & stale & sauce wasn't orange in color or in taste. The bell peppers and onion it was made with was barely cooked. Tastes like veggies and veggie meat was warmed in microwave & then doused with sauce. Lemon grass tofu was drowned with what tasted like the same sauce as “orange chicken” There was no lemongrass taste in the dish. Same deal with the veggies as in the orange chicken. Pancit was mostly onions with a sprinkle of thin noodles. It was not Filipino pancit in taste or texture. The fried rice was barely covered with/soy sauce. It was mostly white rather than the dark brown color you're used to seeing with fried rice. One good thing I have to say about this place is that the service was very friendly which is not common in Asian restaurants (in my experience)Good customer service not so good food.
Taqueria Roberto Mexican Food
3071 Stanford Ranch Rd #1, Rocklin, CA 95765, United States
Saw this restaurant pop up close to home and decided to give it a try. First off, the staff were very friendly. The restaurant itself is quite different - it doesnt have a good flow. You order immediately when you enter which can cause a jam at the doors. You go get your own drinks in the back area behind a wall with all of the supplies. The decor is interesting with all of these pictures of horses, the old Chinese tables, and the neon lighting. As for the food - it was average. The kids all ordered the bean and cheese burritos but the cheese wasnt melted and never quite fully melted. We ordered a Chili Verde burrito and a Carne Asada burrito - the taste was good, but the food wasnt hot at all. Also, their salsa bar was just average. I thought the salsa had a strong tomato flavor.
Sideshow Kitchen

BLAND Burritos. Carnitas was very skimpy. White rice had no flavor, tasted like it was from a Chinese restaurant. Poor way to spend $11. Seems like a cool area though, can’t speak for the beer.
Stanford Golf Course
91 Links Rd, Stanford, CA 94305, United States
To the man who was patrolling the entrance on April 29th at noon: I came to Stanford as a prospective CS MBA student after a successful career as a tech executive in Mexico. When you ask someone what country theyre from, your response should never be Im sorry to hear that, as if you knew me enough to make such a terrible joke. Over 1800 students that attend Stanford are Latino, and Im sure you would never make that sort of racist comment to them if they were of white heritage. Its a shame you were the first person I encountered, but thankfully, today was admissions weekend, and I saw the brilliant minds who will soon run that campus coming from all walks of life. I understand your comment reflects an insecurity you have and a complete ignorance of Mexican culture. I look forward to submitting my application and adding to the Latino student body, so youll have to see my face every weekend. I, on the other hand, am very inclusive and invite you to come visit our beautiful PGA golf courses so you can see that Mexico is a beautiful country with a lot of heart and one hell of a handicap.
Stanford Ranch

I am at Costco all the time. They have great prices on gas, it is a really great qualitu as well. I fill up there often. I also do a lot of my shopping there. They have a large quality of fruits and vegetables and many of them are organic. I also get a lot of our fresh meats there as well. They have things there for every season and we often get those things. We baught our vegetable plants there in the spring and our summer toys for the lake and many of our christmas gifts there as well. It is always chanhing with the seasons. Most of the time you cant beat there prices.
