Kang Kang Food Court
9618 E Las Tunas Dr, Temple City, CA 91780, United States
I went to Temple City Bike Shop to pick up my S-Work helmet. I saw this restaurant Kang Kang Food Court that had pan-fried soup Dumplings. 1st time being there. So I went in and ordered Pan Fried Soup Dumplings and a combo with 3 items. Came with rice and soup. I was charged $25.90. After arriving home, I opened up my bag. What do you know, only the combo with rice and soup inside the bag. I was furious. Went back the next day on Friday from Glendale to Temple City. Ask the lady if the mgr was there. She said why? Told the lady I was charged for 2 different orders but only got the combo. I said to the other lady I think you were the one who served me. She said no, I did not work yesterday. Well, she kinda looks like her. Anyways, she had the worst attitude. So was the lady who served me on Thursday. I was trying to explain what had happened. Instead, she kept talking over me and trying to make me look like I was lying. Had to stop her from talking and listen to me explain after I told her to stop talking over me. And both ladies didnt believe me. I told her to look at your security camera, youll see I walked out with only 1 bag. So she finally called the lady who worked on Thursday the 6th. The lady on the phone said I didnt wait. I said no, thats not true. She didnt tell me. All she said was thank you. Which I assumed everything was in the bag. So the lady told her coworker in Chinese, that it was her fault, she was the dumb one who walked out instead of waiting. (F.Y.I. if youre going to talk sh!t about a customer, make sure that they dont understand your language). Yes, I do speak and understand Chinese. And its your job to tell the customer to wait. Why did you not give me both bags instead of one? This is typical of Chinese people. You guys have the worst customer service and such bad attitudes. And even when we spend a lot of money, you still dare to charge 3% if we use a credit card. Only companies owned by the Chinese charge fees. No other ethnicities or an American restaurant charges a fee to use a credit card. The food was very oily, with no taste or flavor. At least the pan fried bun was tasty.

From the moment you walk in, youre greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the bakery, with the smell of freshly baked goods filling the air.One of the things I love about JJ Bakery is their extensive selection of pastries and cakes. They offer a wide variety of treats, including traditional Chinese bakery items like egg tarts and pineapple buns, as well as more Western-style desserts like cheesecake and chocolate croissants. Everything Ive tried here has been delicious, and I appreciate that they use high-quality ingredients. The service at JJ Bakery is also top-notch. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they always take the time to answer any questions you might have about the different items on the menu. Whether youre a regular customer or a first-time visitor, youll feel right at home here. The prices at JJ Bakery are also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. Ive never felt like Ive overpaid for anything here, and I always leave feeling like I got a great value for my money. In addition to their delicious baked goods, JJ Bakery also offers a selection of Taiwanese dishes at their cafe. Ive tried several of their menu items, including the stinky tofu, ru rou fan, and Spicy Beef Stew with Soup, and I can say that theyre all excellent. The portions are generous, and the flavors are authentic and delicious. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere and is a great place to grab a meal with friends or family. I appreciate that they have a variety of options on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan dishes, so theres something for everyone. One of my favorite dishes at the cafe is the Traditional Tofu Pudding with Peanut Syrup. Its a simple yet delicious dessert thats perfect for those who want something sweet but not too heavy. Array36 - 36

I am excited to see more Chinese restaurants representing a higher-end expression of the cuisine. Array36 certainly aims for that and overall does not disappoint - but could use some refinement in its details. The food we had ranged from very good to excellent. We had the flaming Peking duck, which aside from the showy presentation, is actually a very well-executed duck. It is also skillfully carved and presented with all the traditional trimmings. Small note - the pancakes were a bit thick and gummy, and the cucumbers/veggies were a bit scanty. The large beef rib is tender and easy to eat. It doesnt have much flavor in itself, but is presented with a few sauces/dips to help it along. These were good, but the meat itself could be more seasoned. The steamed egg with crab roe is lovely in presentation, flavor, and texture. Will definitely order again. The pan fried buns are fine, but you can find much better elsewhere in the SGV.The surprise standout dish for me was the pea sprouts in broth. We ordered this just to have a veggie side, and our server suggested getting them with the broth. This was excellent - the broth is super deep and flavorful. A savory and refreshing dish that I would come back for.The service we received from Zia was excellent. She was helpful with ordering and was prompt and pleasant at all times, even bringing out serving ware for a birthday cake we brought. There was a tiny misunderstanding with something I pre-ordered, and she smoothed it all over and offered us dessert on the house too. There are some small inconsistencies which keep this from being the high-end experience theyre going for. The duck sauce came with a plastic serving spoon. The sauces for the beef rib had no spoons at all. They bring you a damp cloth to wipe your hands at the beginning, but then they give you paper napkins like you would find at a food court. All of our food came out in a rush, and there often wasnt enough room on the table for the next dish. Coursing out the food would be helpful so it didnt all feel rushed and crowded. The wine list is tiny and only includes red wine, which isnt always the best pairing with Chinese food. There are harsh spotlights on each table that create a lot of glare with the plates and silverware, would recommend more diffuse lighting for a better atmosphere. The soundtrack is a generic spa soundtrack, repetitive and a little out of place - perhaps classical Chinese music would feel more appropriate. The restaurant is new, and it shows great promise. All these are details that are easily improved upon. I hope they can continue to develop and respond to feedback so we can have a true destination Chinese restaurant to be proud of!
Delicious Chengdu

Driving for 45 minutes to eat this pot! it's bigger than 4 ppls' faces!!This post contains some vegetables, chicken feet, chicken, lotus root, and potatoes. Its very delicious! Four people are super full to finish this pot?My favorite is their classic fish with pickled cabbage. This plate is about the size of three peoples faces. I also drank the soup so much that I shed tears because it was a bit spicy but delicious! ?The chicken must be ordered! I cant eat peanuts but I still ate them because its too delicious. I cant be the one who didnt eat them (if you cant eat peanuts, please remember to ask them not to add peanuts)??The pork ear giving me a clear taste because I ordered a lot of meat, so I can exchange the flavor. You can get a free drink by reviewing on google and yelp ~ ? plus showing my review on the xiaohongshu app can get the 10% off! (cocochou)Parking is not difficult to find, easy to find on the street
Paths to Spicy
9566 Las Tunas Dr, Temple City, CA 91780, United States
Have been dining here for too long and just realized how underrated the place is on google. Dry pot and dry mix here are my favorites. You get to choose whatever ingredients you like in the fridge and there are quite a lot to choose from. For the flavor, if you find it not to your tasting, feel free to ask the chef to adjust it to your liking. Cuz the chef is honestly a nice person. His face just happened to look a bit intimidating. And he remembers his customers and how they like their food. So eventually you don't even need to say anything and it will be made to the way you like it. There you have it, a friendly and loving restaurant with tasty food is how I would describe this place.

Today I found a restaurant that I often pass by but have never been in. The dumplings ? taste quite good, the ingredients in the “Lamb Lamb Tripe pot ”are super fresh, I have tried the Lamb soup in many stores, but the lamb liver in other stores is a bit yellow And it tastes a bit bitter. The lamb liver in this store is the color that lamb liver should have, because it is very fresh. Friends who like lamb soup and dumplings can come and try it. Recommended?

Happy Buddha Kitchen

Great vegetarian restaurant! Probably the best in town. They have great selection of different food for your like and ranging from authentic Chinese style to Vietnamese style. The chief and owner continuously update their menu with great tasting food. We had Orange Chicken, Beyond Pho, Eggplant with Tofu pot and Egg Rolls for dinner. The service is above and beyond, even a slice of lemon in the tasty iced water! The price is very reasonable consider the current inflation. The majority of the dishes are around $12. Great restaurant and will definitely suggest to everyone vegetarian or not!
New Mandarin Noodle Deli
9537 Las Tunas Dr, Temple City, CA 91780, United States
What words can I use that eloquently and accurately describe the experience I had at this restaurant? Sublime...elevated...authentic. No these words fall short. The noodles, depending on the dish, can have a toothy al dente texture or a soft and silky mouthfeel. The sauces are expertly handcrafted for a perfect balance of salty, spicy, sweet with pure umami bliss. But, its the ambiance created by wait staff that makes one feel like they are eating at their Chinese grandmothers cooking. And Im not Chinese. If you are in the mood to go for exotic yet down home Asian comfort food this is the spot.
