Pretty mid for long waits and expensive prices surprised there’s 4.2 reviews lmao.. such an off brand sushi place and not authentic Japanese or Chinese food this restaurant is definitely catered to write people who have a skewed perspective of Chinese and Japanese cuisine.

Chic n Time
807 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States
Listen up my gorgeous glamazons! This queen has some piping hot tea to spill about a casual little eatery called Chic n Time that is going to completely gag you with how fabulous it is.I sashayed in there just expecting a basic little counter situation to grab a quick bite, but they read me for filth with the quality of their food offerings. Who knew this unassuming spot was hiding such fierce culinary talents, am I right? We started with these peppercorn chicken wings that instantly vogued their way into my heart. That crispy exterior was construction realness, while the inside was dripping in juicy, well-seasoned flavor with just the right amount of peppery zing. These wings have all the fancy places shook, trust. Then came the popcorn chicken which was practically a religious experience, ladies. Each delicate little morsel was swaddled in the most delicate yet crunchy shell that opened up to tender, savory chicken goodness inside. I literally could not stop devouring them - they were that divalicious! To help extinguish the fire, we gulped down one of their signature bubble teas and it was absolutely everythiiiiing. The creaminess and refreshing notes were living in such harmonious unity without being too sweet and desperate for attention. The balance? Perfection!Even though Chic n Time is giving very casual vibes with the counter setup, the food quality is truly top tier and ready for the runway. Theyre elevating grab-and-go to a whole other level up in there. And can we take a moment for the vibe? I live for these laidback, fuss-free hangouts where you can just strut in and get what you need without the pageantry and drama. Its ideal for when those snack attack cravings hit hard.Long story short, the food had me so gagged that a re-wife is already on the calendar to keep exploring their delectable Asian-inspired snack and drink selections. If you want casual but utterly fierce eats, Chic n Time is a definite must-visit! Mama has spoken, so you better listen!
Panda Express
24201 Valencia Blvd #122, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
It was yesterday and I don't know what was her name but the service was the worst of worst. She was very rude and chill-faced attitude to me and when I tried to grab the bowl one and she didn't really give the enough amount of the meal. Panda express has awesome flavors as always but I was totally disgraced with the attitude in this mall. Never to go for.

Bao is a trendy Chinese eatery located in the Mission neighborhood. Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors
25960 The Old Rd, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
Now I remember why Ive only been to Pick up Stix once. It looks and feels like a Chinese fast food restaurant. But the menu and the price feels like a full service restaurant, even if you dine in.It was a little confusing to order. They didnt hand us a menu. We had to look all over the board. The combos arent available after 3 pm. I guess the entrees come with rice because he offered white or brown rice. If I wanted fried rice or chow mien I would be charged $2 more to replace the rice, not beside the rice.I ordered curry tofu. It had no curry. Maybe they sprayed a fine mist of curry flavor on it, possibly. The rice was super dry and chewy. I EXPECTED a juicy bowl filled with creamy curry sauce and veggies with a healthy serving of tofu. I GOT a takeout box with what looked exactly like the package of frozen veggies I get at the market. The tofu was breaded and dry. Why?I also ordered a small wonton soup made with the same veggies. It was actually the highlight of the meal. I had to mix the so called curry into my soup to give it flavor and soften it up.I paid the extra $2 for my boys kids meals. The chow mein was just spaghetti dripping in some brown stuff. The orange chicken was tough and had bird nerves in it. Poor kids!Ill probably be blindly tempted to try this place again in a decade or so. But until I forget again, Im staying away.
Thai Dishes (Valencia)
23328 Valencia Blvd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
Ive literally never reviewed a place before but well yeah. I used to love this place, and have recommended it to a lot of people who liked it as well until recently. I hadn't ordered in awhile but today my husband and I ordered takeout/delivery, and to my dismay I realized why so many of our friends have stopped ordering here. They have literally cut their portions in half, including not putting entire ingredients in their recipes that normally are there. I understand inflation, but for their already expensive prices when you receive less than half the portion that you are normally served but charged $20+ for that dish. Beyond ridiculous, and the flavor was all but missing. On top of all of this, 2/4 of the items we ordered were missing entirely. Extremely disappointed, the best thai place in scv is going down the drain. I was even thinking of ordering a different thai place but I literally said, this is thai valencia what could go wrong. Wish I wouldn't have ordered here and wont be again. Sad sad sad, thank you for turning me into a Karen thai valencia.

The Stand - American Classics Redefined
24201 Valencia Blvd Suite 3260, Valencia, CA 91355, United States
As a vegetarian, its great to have a new up-scale burger place in the Santa Clarita Valley that has plenty of options for me. I love a good Impossible Burger and Fries and my experiences at other The Stand locations set the bar for what I should expect at this one. Though so close to when they first opened it seems they might still be working on living up to their brand standards as there were a few quirks to this particular experience. Its a beautiful space with a cavernous feel, modern design, and plenty of seating both inside and out.Quirk one was being overcharged for the food. My wife and son both got a basic Stand Burger, add an Impossible Patty for both, a pretzel bun for one and lettuce wrap for the other. The math didnt quite add up when we saw the totals for the burgers and after some confusion trying to explain it, the person taking our order realized they did indeed charge us incorrectly which was fixed before we paid. So, hurrah! Growing pains...Everyone is new...theyll figure this out.We hope they also figure out when they wipe down a booth or chairs, that it shouldnt be left overly wet. When we went to an empty booth to sit it was wet to the point where we needed to ask them to come dry off the seats. :/The food also was not as good as wed wanted it to be (and which we know THEY want it to be based on our experiences at other locations.) All three of our Impossible burgers were overcooked. One thing we remember from the other locations is that they ask you if you want your burger (even the Impossible Patty) well done or medium. They didnt ask us and these were definitely over charred on the outside and overdone on the inside. The fries too, we got two orders, were also just slightly overdone making that a little bit of a bummer.I also tried their cucumber mint agua fresca which tasted a little bit watery. So that was everything we ordered and it all wasnt what we hoped for.Two of us really liked the free house-made chip samples they were giving, and their pickles rock too.We know what to expect from The Stand and well definitely go back in the future, but we think they need a little bit more time to settle in and get their staff up to speed to live up to the standards and experiences weve had at their other locations.Im rooting for you The Stand Valencia!
Dosa Corner Indian Cuisine
1499 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States
Title: A Biryani Disaster: Where Curries Became CreameriesRating: ⭐As an adventurous food enthusiast, I recently ventured into an Indian restaurant that promised an authentic culinary experience. However, my excitement soon turned into disappointment and disbelief as I delved into their chicken biryani and curries. The chicken biryani, which is typically a symphony of flavors and spices, turned out to be a sad excuse for a dish. Instead of the aromatic basmati rice mingling with tender chunks of chicken, I was greeted with a greasy and lackluster mess. It seemed as if the biryani was prepared with a heavy-handed approach to oil, leaving the grains soggy and unappetizing. The flavors were muted, and any hint of the traditional biryani spices was overshadowed by an overwhelming greasiness. To add insult to injury, the curries were a dairy lovers dream and a nightmare for those seeking an authentic experience. It felt as if I had stumbled into a creamery instead of an Indian restaurant. The curries were drowning in a sea of cream, overpowering any chance of the delicate flavors shining through. The richness of the dairy completely masked the intricate blend of spices that make Indian cuisine so delightful. It was a heavy and indulgent affair that left me longing for the real essence of Indian food. While it is understandable that restaurants may experiment with their dishes, this particular establishment has missed the mark entirely. Authenticity and balance are crucial elements in Indian cuisine, and unfortunately, this restaurant failed to deliver on both fronts. The excessive use of oil in the biryani and the heavy-handed approach to dairy in the curries left me questioning the culinary skills and understanding of the chefs. If youre seeking a true taste of Indian cuisine, I would advise looking elsewhere. This restaurants interpretation of chicken biryani and curries is a far cry from the vibrant and aromatic dishes that capture the hearts and palates of food enthusiasts worldwide.
