If you want consistency as for your service & good food, Chinese Kitchen is definitely one to be on your list. they may not be the best tasting Chinese food in all offered dishes but they are high on the list. they have good prices for combo meals & individual plates & are excellent & fast serving. One thing they do have that is best in all of Visalia is their asparagus with shrimp & black bean sauce & their house chowmein. I love it when the owners mingle with the customers as they do here. Also of great importance to me is they at request will make your dishes with NO MSG which is so awesome. they are also very reasonably priced. If you have a large party in tow & want a good chinese restaurant to go to this is the place.

Love this place! Authentic good Chinese food! The owner is a sweetheart. Been a customer here since they opened! They are hands down one of the 2 best Chinese restaurants in Visalia, and I also cook Chinese food!

Jade is still a well kept secret in Visalia. I cant figure why else less tasty Chinese restaurants are so much more crowded. In short, this is my favorite local Chinese restaurant hands down. The vegetables are always remarkably fresh, and the service is prompt. Give it a try!

Canton Chinese Restaurant is in downtown Visalia and offers a decent but limited variety of Cantonese style cuisine. Dishes are somewhat traditional but lack authenticity. Other than the staff, there are no Asians here which goes to explain the cuisine. It isnt bad, but it is not truly what you would find in a Chinese patronized restaurant. Dim sum is not served here. The staff here are reasonably friendly and polite.

So after coming to this restaurant for the last 4 years or so my wife and I finally had enough this evening. It had been a couple of months since the last visit so we decided to try again tonight and see if they can serve the food all at the same time so things don't get cold, wow was I wishing for something so simple and for the third time did not get it. We are pretty reasonable people especially when the food is as good as these folks put out. It is very hard for me to compute great food and horrible service in the same sentence but is true. So the excuse is always we are so busy, and of course they assume that is a satisfactory answer to their paying customer. Incompetence is something I have little patience for especially when they offer nothing but a so sorry. All day long in general that's all we get, apologies for something everywhere we go. Reasonable food and service is all we look for but apparently hard to find these days . Totally baffled as to what happened to this establishment. Same people serving since but don't know what is happening in the kitchen. Soooooo unless you want great cold food stick to the combo plates, at least all that is in one plate so it might come to you hot. All other dishes good luck. Here comes the sesame chicken and then the rice10 minutes later, by then all is cold. War wonton soup sometimes will come the normal way, twice lately super spicy and had to send it back. I can safely say that we are done with this nonesence. Three times in row is enough.

Ive been missing Kowloons for more than last year. I lived in Visalia for 22 years, and moved away a few years back. There are several local Chinese restaurants, but none compare to the well prepared cuisine of their kitchen. It is my hope they continue with great success into the future, serving Visalia and and surrounding communities

Visalia chinese food isnt that great, but this place takes the trophy for being the worse. First, the lady at the cashier is so rude. Appetizers are a shame, asked for fried chicken wings and I just got 1/3 of the wing, wth is that? Also, is the most expensive chinese restaurant in the area, the food isnt great, lame at best. Dont waste your money here, youve been warned.

This is a well-owned and managed Chinese budget restaurant. It is well fit for individuals to family dining. The food is plentiful, fresh, and properly cooked. The staff is friendly, busy, and accommodating. This is a perfect choice for anyone to enjoy. We have been twice in the last two weeks and both times were equally enjoyable. Since the pandemic, they have made some very good improvements in how the public can enjoy quality cuisine in a desirable environment with pleasing background music. This is a must go to dining experience.

This is my first time here, and I would definitely come again. Unlike other Chinese restaurant, you can actually see the food prepared right in front of you. It is very transparent of what the cook add into your order. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I ordered a combo plate with broccoli beef and orange chicken with chow mein. They were kind enough to alter the order to my liking which is something that other restaurants are not willing to do. Highly recommend this place to others!!
