Sushi Bento
82280 CA-111, Indio, CA 92201, United States
This is a very nice sushi place in Indio, it is one of the top sushi spots in the valley for various reasons and definitely the best sushi place Southeast of La Quinta. 1) The price to food ratio is great. You do get larger portions than other sushi places, especially for the price. The least expensive roll is the California roll and its only $5, no where else will you get a roll this large and flavorful at that price point. 2) The food just tastes great. I do agree that there are other sushi places that also have great tasting sushi but this place has undeniably great tasting sushi. One great tasting non-sushi dish is the kepup (or something like that ?) bowl, highly recommend it. 3) Customer service is rather good. This seems like a family owned and operated shop. Cons: The appearance of the building and seating area. This is not to say the place is dirty or unclean, its just on the older worn down side. The previous tenants didnt do much with it and since this business just started I understand why not much can be done early on. Thats really about it. Great place and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys sushi.

This new sushi restaurant was hands down the best in the valley. The rolls were big, and the quality was on point. Based on the fish, I can tell that they use high-grade seafood. When I asked the server, they indeed use the highest-graded fish. If you do not like raw seafood, their calamari, teriyaki chicken, and beef skewer were very good. I highly recommend this place if you want a high-quality Japanese sushi restaurant.

GRACELAND FIL-ASIAN MARKET
82590 CA-111 STE 203, Indio, CA 92201, United States
I have been shopping at this store for years. I make it a point to support local businesses but I am disappointed. I attempted to visit the store this past Saturday to purchase some specialty items that are specific to a Filipino store. The store was closed with no sign to state why. I visited this store the day before on Friday and no sign posted that they would be closed on Saturday. I asked the nearby restaurant (Alkobar Grill) if they had any information and all they could tell me is that they have inconsistent hours. I called the store today to ask what happened with Saturday and the owner said I dont know. Remember that customers are always first.I will give them another chance but I may have to support the Fil Am Market in Cathedral City instead.

Sushi Kitto
42250 Jackson St Ste B101, Indio, CA 92203, United States
Service was good, food on the other hand was 50/50. I also found it odd that they weren't running the AC on a warm Saturday afternoon. The chicken teriyaki was dry and overcooked. The teriyaki sauce needs work as well. I liked that the miso soup wasn't as salty as other places. I always order a chirashi bowl when I try a sushi place for the first time. It includes a variety of a restaurant's raw offerings in one dish. I was impressed with quantity included but disappointed in the quality. The tamago was bland, the ikura and squid didn't taste fresh at all. FYI, their chirashi bowl does include sushi rice at the bottom. I didn't know or notice before ordering some (additional $5). Not sure if what I was served was their normal quality, but I wouldn't rule them out after just one visit. They have tons seating, inside and outside including at the sushi bar. Lots of TVs all around to enjoy your favorite sporting events and a bar with a decent list of alcoholic drinks.

Sushi ON - An Authentic Japanese Sushi Bar & Re...

I love sushi, weve had it at many different Japanese restaurants, and Sushi On is now my favorite. The fish was fresh, the flavors were delicious, and the experience was amazing. The people who work there were so friendly and welcoming.Living in the desert there arent a ton of great sushi options, but Sushi On is definitely the best ?

Tesla Supercharger
42100 Jackson St, Indio, CA 92203, United States
Hello. I did charge at Indio Supercharger in morning and afternoon on a Friday with hardly any cars at the spot. I have a Model Y and the morning session charged at about 57 kWh (against Max 72 kWh capacity at station). The afternoon session at 3:15 PM was horrible, many tesla owners were switching stations as none of them were getting a good charging speed. I was initially getting about 40 kWh, which dropped to 7 kWh at times. I also noted that there was a Model owner who was frustrated as well. The moment he disconnected his vehicle and while he was changing supercharger stall, my charge rate went as high as 80 kWh and as soon as he started charging ( a few stations away from me), my rate fell down to 40 kWh and sometimes even dipping to 7 kWh. This location is very unreliable and Tesla must do something about it.

Sumo Dog
49-830 Jefferson St Suite 106, Indio, CA 92201, United States
A local chef recommended this hot dog shop. When delivered these hot dogs looked really unique and very tasty. I tasted 3 as we shared and was satisfied with the Japanese style toppings. The service was very helpful. The location is quite nice too, in a new shopping center with other restaurants around. It would have been nice to sit outside but there were no outdoor heaters as the other restaurants had.If you like hot dogs and variety it is worth a try. Even if your not a fan of hot dogs i dont think you would regret trying the food.

DRAGON SUSHI - Indio prices
82451 CA-111, Indio, CA 92201, United States
I went to dragons sushi recently and have been going there for years. It's been a while since the last time I went. The most previous time my group and I were served by a server named Aldo. As someone who is also a server I always give my servers the benefit of the doubt when I go out to eat and the service I receive is subpar. However, after we were seated it took him a while to come and get our drinks. When he returned with our drinks he then began to walk away, and we had to keep him from leaving to let him know we wanted to order some appetizers. He took our order for appetizers and someone else brought them out. We were already almost finished with the appetizers and still hadn't seen him to place our order. I saw that he was standing at the host stand talking and laughing with the girls there. My group and I began to feel annoyed. My sister finally caught his attention, and waved him over. We also noticed the table next to us wondering where he was just to place their drink order. After we received our food which was delivered by an older gentleman, we searched for our server once again to ask for napkins, until we just decided to get up and ask at the sushi bar. After some time passed, we still searched for him to ask for refills and when he came around to give us refills, he grabbed our glasses towards the top and touch the rim of the glass and brought us our refills in the same glass. He disappeared once again until it was time to pay the bill. The food was good and I usually have a wonderful experience regarding service but this time I didn't appreciate the lack of hospitality.
