Shin-Sen-Gumi is a popular chain of Japanese restaurants. They have Ramen, Shabu-Shabu and Yakitori restaurants. This particular restaurant focuses on Ramen. The Ramen is delicious! You can control the type of noodle hardness you want, as well as the strength of the broth. You can order more noodles as well if youd like to. The broth and ingredients are delicious, and thats why its so popular! Order extra chasu if you love meat! You can also order all kinds of sides like gyoza, fried ice, karage and hard boiled egg. Rolling Rice

Hi, reason why I gave one star were for some issues I had . Overall the food tasted very amazing, as I am big foodie on the Japanese culture it came out great . I had ordered the California rolls which are my absolute favorite. The main issue was the employee who had helped me out upon ordering. Not sure how you spell her name, it was Leteacia or Leticeeia. When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by her, than proceeded to overlook the menu as I was hungry for a big appetite. It took me a minute or two to decide what I would like to have. During that time she was acting a bit anxious and seemed like she was in a rush for me to order . So I than approached her what I wanted, I don’t know why but her response was “what do you want “ in a demanding tone . I thought nothing about it . After I was done ordering, she gave me my receipt aggressively and said “here’s your receipt, I’ll call out your order when it’s done thanks “.As I was waiting it seemed like she was really aggravated, wasn’t really nice about taking my order and wanted me to be in and out of the restaurant. I thought nothing about it at the time, but being treated like that and treating your customers in that tone was very unprofessional. While ordering I noticed she kept moving her fingers as if she was irritated and was breathing really heavily. I didn’t appreciate that as if I wasn’t welcomed by her and when my order was ready she handed it and proceeded to say “here’s your order it’s done” than walks away before I get the chance to ask for additional sauce and napkins .Please take this into consideration of your employee which I was rudely treated by and I will not return until action is acknowledged on the experience I had . I do really enjoy this establishment, after that incident I don’t take rudeness kindly . Thank you
Kami Buffet & Grill
909 San Gabriel Blvd, Rosemead, CA 91770, United States
This Asian mixed-flavor buffet has many dishes, including Japanese food, Mexican food, and fruit salad. The light in the room is a bit dark. I dont like the carpet in the dining room. I feel that it is not hygienic. There are a lot of tables in the restaurant, a lot of guests, and the taste is pretty good.

ICHIMA
325 N Rosemead Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107, United States
My favorite Japanese restaurant closed in 2014. I found Ichima as a substitute. The food at Ichima is just as good as my favorite Japanese restaurant. Every time we are in the area, we go to Ichima for lunch. I usually order the lunch bento box with 2 items of beef and salmon teriyaki. My husband usually gets the chicken teriyaki and California roll. The food is fresh. We always have leftover for dinner.

This is a San Gabriel gem!I’ve lived in San Gabriel for most of my life. We haven’t had a local Japanese restaurant in the area for quite some time. We especially haven’t had one that was Japanese owned and operated. You’ll often find the chef and owner working in the back. The food is delicious. We had the agedashi tofu, crispy rice with spicy tuna, and edamame to start. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was easily my favorite starter. The chicken katsu curry was my entree. The chicken was moist and perfectly breaded to pair with the hearty curry. My girlfriend had the tempura udon. She thoroughly enjoyed it. We also shared an eel avocado cut roll.We finished everything off with the green tea mochi ice cream and black sesame ice cream.Everything tastes like it was made from scratch. We will most definitely come back!
Yoshinoya

This place was more poppin than I thought. When I came in to grab some dinner for home, there were quite a few people dining inside, plus a long line behind me.It seemed like there were only three people working at the time - the cashier, cook, and the food packer. I do admit that the lady who was packing the order was pretty quick. When my boyfriend ordered his dinner, he got it by the time I barely finished ordering for my family. The guy behind the register seemed really nice and friendly too. After I ordered a couple bowls, it was out within a minute or two. When I looked in the back, the lady was just spitting out the orders. I have to admit, for one person working each station at dinner rush, they were doing fairly well. The only complaint I have was that their bowl compared to other locations Ive been to seemed smaller in quantity and drier. I like my bowls to have a bit more sauce, but my mom seemed to like that it was dry, so that all depends.
Yoshinoya - Pico Rivera
5076 Rosemead Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660, United States
I'm quite confused at how inconsistent the reviews are with the reality of this restaurant. Not only have I been disappointed every time I have eaten here. The quality of service consistently decreases. I have talked to corporate before concerning certain issues, none of which seem to change. Not only are the staff rude and disrespectful, the food is never consistent or made as I order. They constantly limit customers with condiments which quite honestly contribute greatly to their food only to make an extra buck. You would think ginger and chili powder would be a delicacy because of how they mark up their ginger. Nevertheless, I am done eating here and hope people avoid this restaurant at all cost. Stop charging people ridiculous prices for GINGER… as a business owner this is despicably cheap considering other Yoshinoyas around the area don't limit customers and have way better service.

I recently visited Chubby Cattles new location, Rosemead location, its my second time dining at chubby cattle, and once again, theyve exceeded my expectations! As a fan of their Wagyu BBQ, I was eager to try out their new spot, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely incredible, maintaining the high standards Ive come to associate with Chubby Cattle. The quality of the Wagyu BBQ was top-notch, and the flavors were simply mouthwatering. Its evident that they take great care in sourcing their ingredients and ensuring a delightful dining experience. What pleasantly surprised me was that the prices at the Rosemead location were even more budget-friendly compared to the Monterey Park store. Its a fantastic bonus to enjoy the same fantastic quality of food at a more affordable cost. This makes Chubby Cattle Rosemead an excellent choice for those looking for a delicious meal without breaking the bank. The ambiance at the new location was inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. The staffs commitment to ensuring a positive dining experience was evident throughout my visit.
Osushi

The chef is the same from Wahoo Chaya. So long story short- the sushi is phenomenal as it was prior. I bring my wife and son here all the time and also invite other family members. I order the a la cart cut rolls such as the the albacore roll and the yellow tell. Sometimes I will order it either of them spicy. My wife loves the rainbow roll, baked mussels, and fresh oysters. My son who is two mind you like the temura udon and the rainbow roll. Yes he loves sushi. Usually our bill is around 100 including tip. If we invite others it is more. You will not be disappointed coming here. A true gem.
