Kamura Sushi
3800 Sebastopol Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95407, United States
Some of the best sushi Ive ever had!My 2 girlfriends and I went at 6pm on a Monday night and had no problem getting a socially distanced outside table. There were 2 other parties dining outside while we were there, but there was plenty of space between us, and the server wore a mask the entire time.We split the garlic edamame, Hamachi sashimi, and 3 rolls: the 49er, the Sebastopol, and the M.D.The Hamachi was delicious and fresh, though I thought it strange that it had thin slices of tomato on top. The garlic edamame was salty and covered in lots of soy and minced, charred garlic. The sushi rolls were all very fresh tasting and stuffed with all the great ingredients, not skimpy at all. They also had a ton of toppings and just the right amount of sauce. We surprised ourselves with how fast we devoured them all, and it was just the perfect amount of food to be full, but not stuffed. The service was extremely fast and our server checked on us often, refilling our waters each time, as it was warm out and we ordered spicy rolls.I just found my new favorite sushi spot in Santa Rosa and will definitely be going back!

My favorite sushi/japanese restaurant in Sonoma county. Lovely atmosphere and great staff, not to mention the food is most delicious!

Incas is the one restaurant I will choose again and again. Im never not in the mood for it. We have only ordered to-go, and it has been delicious every time. We have ordered all the empanada flavors, but like the beef the best (toddler approved too). My husband likes the shrimp salad. The seasoning on the shrimp is so flavorful, it makes you want to eat it alone. I prefer the lomo saltado. The steak is cooked perfect every time. I do not care for soggy fries, but in the to go box, the drippings off the steak will seep into the rice and fries making them extra tasty (and not soggy).I hope if they become more popular, they can move to a location where they can be more visible. Im afraid people wont see them tucked in the back corner. The only reason I dont give it five stars is because its a bit pricey, so we dont have it as often as I would like. But the food and service are definitely five stars!
Crooked Goat Brewing
120 Morris St #120, Sebastopol, CA 95472, United States
Have to drop review from a 5-star one to “not going to come back”... The sign outside says to order on their website. So i tried to do so at 3:00, and it said it would be a 30 minute wait, so I walked up and asked the girl and she said “No, it will actually only be a few minutes, that's just an automated time thing”So I placed the order, and lo and behold I had to wait 30 MINUTES before getting a text telling me the order was ready. And the kicker? NOBODY ELSE WAS EVEN THERE! They werent even busy, and it still took more than 20 minutes to pour 3 cans of beer?Meanwhile, a woman walks up in front of me, places an order IN PERSON (why wasn't I told this was an option when I was standing at the counter asking about ordering??), and they filled her order immediately, within 2 minutes... so she placed an order 30 minutes after mine and walked out BEFORE I did.If you can place orders at the counter, maybe don't tell people standing right there to go on the website, and don't lie and tell them it will only take a few minutes? (How hard would it have been, when I was asking about ordering on the website, to just say Oh, you can order right here at the counter!)At a price of $12-18 per 32 oz can? Disappointing, to say the least. Won't be coming back.
Himalayan Tandoori and Curry House
969 Gravenstein Hwy S, Sebastopol, CA 95472, United States
I agree with Alice. The restaurant used to be really good. Today we went for the first time in several months, and the food was really disappointing. Their lamb tikka masala was bland, bland, bland, and the pumpkin curry was made with Japanese squash, which really did not work! Also, the pumpkin was not cut into chunks, but grated. More like eating bland curry mush.We will not be returning here and you shouldn’t either. So sad. We’ve lost a nice restaurant in Sebastopol, used to be one of our favorites!

Its one of my favorite local spots in sebastopol! The food is always so delicious and flavorful, the staff are super friendly & go above & beyond always. The vibe is super chill, very casual!Their take on thai food is unique but also very authentic to the Thai flavors that we all crave & love! The food menu is packed with delicious appetizers for both vegetarian and meat eaters, great shareable main dishes, and a massive wine list! Their charcoal grilled Japanese eggplant salad with the amazing flavors of shallots, cilantro, mint, basil, lime, little fried shrimps, just pop! A must try is their grilled mushroom salad also, I crave it! I always get their drunken noodles with the pork thats loaded with baby corn, bell peppers, Thai Basil, rice noodles & so much more! My friend loves the green curry with sweet potatoes and tofu! There are so many wonderful vegan & vegetarian dishes available that it makes for a great spot for everyone. My other favorite appetizers are their fried peanuts loaded with lemongrass, chili, and lime flavors are addictive! The crispy fried chive dumplings are amazing and a must try with the dipping sauces! The Thai fried chicken is epic and a must for the meat eaters! They have this plate thats meant to be shared between 2-3 people thats a massive crispy fried rock cod fish that comes out whole fully loaded with delicious Thai chili sauces! It looks amazing and I hear great reviews! Everyone watches it come out of the kitchen! All their food is amazing, and the chefs do a great job with the consistency of flavors. 5 stars all around! The service is always top-notch even when they are busy. I appreciate their staff for always being kind. Everyone Ive ever encountered here over the past couple of years coming here has been wonderful, friendly & makes the dining experience that much memorable! Thank you Khom Loi staff for always being awesome & amazing!Great spot for groups, families, friends, date night. The vibe is very casual. Bring a jacket as you will most likely be sitting in their unique outdoor/ indoor patio thats so beautiful with a small pond & lots of foliage, plants, flowers, etc.Parking is limited but easy. Theres many options on the street or a few in their small parking lot. They have lots of great wines, beers & a rotating cider.Overall, it is an amazing restaurant that sebastopol is lucky to have! I drive all the way from Bodega Bay to eat here with my friend who is vegan, its such a great spot!
Sazn Authentic Peruvian Cuisine
1129 Sebastopol Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95407, United States
This is a solid place for lunch. I had the ceviche sampler (green, mixed, and ahi) and the chocolate torte. My favorite was the green ceviche, its one of the most delicious things Ive ever tasted. The ahi wasnt bad, but Ive had similar dishes at Japanese restaurants that Ive liked more. I also thought the mixed was fairly typical for a high end Peruvian restaurant, I tend to go often in Miami area. The torte was quite tasty with a layer of caramel on top of the pie crust, and a flavor of walnuts in the chocolate. Not the best dessert Ive ever had, but chocolatey, caramely, and tasty.
Ramen Gaijin
6948 Sebastopol Ave, Sebastopol, CA 95472, United States
Casual but sophisticated ramen restaurant that I compare to my favorites in SF. The menu is focused on Japanese ramen and rice (donbury) dishes with optional add-ons. The ingredients are local and fresh but seem specifically Japanese. Some seasonal dishes are pan-Asian or fusion. There is a full bar with cocktails and shrubs, draft sake and all beer - mostly from Japan - to round out the experience. Recently we got our first desert - Black Sesame Ice Cream - which was some of the best ice cream experiences Ive had in years.Ive been here many times and often get Shoyu Ramen with buckwheat noodles and perfect pork belly. We tried the spicy ramen with sapporo noodles and ground pork. I love their kara-agi -- fried chicken -- on the side with miso ranch dressing -- I just put them in my soup but the ranch is also good. To drink I usually get Asahi on tap, but they rotate in some variety to their taps. We had the dragon bowl for two - fun, but you gotta sit close -- and a variety of house-made shrub sodas which were sweet and refreshingYou need reservations during popular times but lunch times and summer months they are less crowded. The welcome process is always a little awkward, and the music can be a bit loud, which are my only notes. However, once at your table the service is attentive. Enjoy!
