Fuji Japan
1025 Westminster Mall, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
This place should be closed by now, all you get is rice and macaroni plate with a little chicken or meat on top. Test horrible, they should close it because the customer service is zero, my wife ordered and they made mistake and instead of fixing the man behind the counter yelled at her, I was with the kids she didn't say anything until we got home, I said the food is horrible we wasn't lucky today and she said they made mistake ( she asked for chicken and beef and they made it all chicken and they refused to fix it, terribly rude. I think the man behind the counter is the owner and he is very rude, after I read most of the reviews it seems it is common complaint about that place, I don't know if I called if I will get real customer service or should I go to city food department, please if you experience same thing write something to let people know how this place is ashamed to be in big mall like that. Try yourself although I wouldn't recommend order every thing at once, get one plate and see if you like it. I am hundred percent sure you will trash it and they will not refund you.
Katsu Bar
9090 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
If you love Japanese style curry and katsu with a Vietnamese twist, this is the place to go. We are locals and are avid fans of Japanese style curry. This place does Japanese curry justice. Go for the katsu curry plate and you will not be disappointed, katsu is always crispy even when you pour curry on it. Our favorite is the katsu or Korean dumpling curry. Mushroom tempura is also to die for. Dishes are also optional with Vietnamese style pickled greens which are delicious. When you order, there is a self-serve kiosk in front where you order with card or contactless payment, if using cash, you will need to ask staff. Portions are large will fill you up pretty nice.
Yamas Teriyaki
13102-B, 13102 Goldenwest St #13102-B, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Came here today for the first time, was craving teriyaki but did not want to pay $13+ A BOWL with barely any meat on it at more known food chains. What attracted me to this place was the amount of good reviews. Upon walking in, it was super clean..the guy taking my order was very nice & helpful. Ordered two plates (chicken/beef & another with chicken/beef/shrimp) and got a side of wontons for $24, the food/meat is hooked up & super good! The salad & fruit on my plate was fresh, the food looked just as amazing as it tasted. I also saw they have very affordable lunch specials.Definitely satisfied my teriyaki craving, will be coming back! Can't wait! Found my new teriyaki spot!!

We ordered a Quickie of both the banh khot and the eggroll. The eggrolls were great, but the banh khot is AMAZING and the dipping sauce, quite addicting! Kensh
16511 Magnolia St, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Delicious sushi, one would be hard pressed to tell the difference between fishless rolls and hand rolls versus traditional ones. The flavors are accurate to what you would find a quality Japanese restaurant. In addition, theyre constantly adding new options to their menu why keeping customer favorites. I have been coming here for a few years and the quality of the food has remained consistently good. The atmosphere and service varies, it seems like they have difficulty maintaining a regular wait staff, and their storefront is slowly being completed. Very bare and minimal, no sushi bar.Overall, I support this restaurant, hoping itll pick up in popularity. There arent many good vegan sushi places, and I would be devastated if were to not be successful.Sometimes their cook staff is also short hand and wait times can be long, but they offer take out so you dont have to wait. But the wait is definitely worth it.A little on the pricey side, but you wont find anything else like Kensho in OC.
Shinobu Japanese BBQ
15202 Goldenwest St, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Meh experience. We did AYCE Gold on a Thursday night. Very expensive menu, especially considering the location.Meat was good, but not sure if it was great enough to justify the price. Outside skirt was to die for. Beef belly and prime short rib were quite delicious as well. Obviously you don't go to a bbq place for shrimp and duck, but both of those were strange enough to be on the menu and ended up tasting funny. Would not recommend the shrimp or duck at all.Hated the atmosphere of this restaurant. I understand the dark lighting is an attempt at an aesthetic ambience, but it's ridiculous when I can barely see the color of the meat on the grill. Not to mention, the fan was in the way, so it was a struggle to converse with people sitting on the other side of the table. Turn the lights on a Tiny bit, and you can still create a dark atmosphere while letting us see how cooked our meat is.Service was excellent, but we came on an early Thursday evening with very few people (just two other parties) in the restaurant. Considering we ran up to the 90min limit (and still had a bit of a stomach left), the time limit would be a significant concern if the restaurant is more crowded and service was not as quick.Another note on service: they have a lot of younger workers, and they are bustling with energy and positivity. We enjoyed when they took our meat orders; however, we certainly did not enjoy the older servers, who seemed grumpy to be there.Something strange at the end of our meal... We were told after the 90min timer ended that we could order dessert and have all-you-can-eat ice-cream. But then one server cut us off at two scoops and said they could only serve two rounds for each person. Questionable that another server had told us AYCE ice-cream. Also the supposed “2-round limit” was nowhere to be found on their menu. Place was not crowded, so not sure why they were rushing us to exit their restaurant. With all that said, we had a solid meal. Personally would not return, but it's worth a shot for anyone who loves bbq.
Costco Business Center
13225 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
This location is catered to businesses though they carry the very best Japanese peanuts by de la Rosa, the best crab deals, marvelous ham selection and most of all much more organized due to less vandals. I came here to get office supplies but was surprised by their ample restaurant supplies. There is a larger walk in fridge with every thing in it !!!!
Shinobu Shabu
15226 Goldenwest St, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Stopped by here after our reservations for teppanyaki in Huntington Beach fell through due to poor service, and we were not disappointed. The soups are very flavorful and come with plenty of noodles and veggies to make it to your liking (get the spicy miso broth--you will LOVE it!). We stepped our game up a bit and went with the Wagyu beef and MAN is it buttery and tasty! Glad we went that route. We also had the gyoza (YUM!) and the shrimp tempura (fried to perfection). Only reason Im docking them a star is service--the restaurant was nowhere near full, but I often found myself wondering what had happened to my waitress/asking other staff members to refill my bottomless rice or water, etc. Other than that it was an excellent experience and Id be happy to come back if I were in the area.
