TWOZONE CHICKEN HESPERIA
14380 Main St #101, Hesperia, CA 92345, United States
I discovered this place with my friend a while back and been going back when it just opened and have been going ever since. Me and my friend are born in the Philippines, and we like to talk about food. If we are talking about other food while we are eating food, that means that the food is average to below. For example, eating sushi at a sushi restaurant and talking about burritos means that the sushi is mid. When we ate here dine in for the first time we didnt talk about other food but the food that we were currently eating. This is that good good chicken. For this review, I will start off with Atmosphere, Service, and Food. The atmosphere is very warm and simple. The store is small, though, and the only place to eat is at the window side. I would prefer more napkins for the people that are dining in there and complimentary water. Im not picky with where I eat. The small space reminds me of vendors from the Philippines, so its okay for me. I like the constant playing of K-Pop and snacks for us to purchase. Just having extra napkins and access to water would be nice. Overall all pretty decent atmosphere for me. 8/10Service is okay. They are there when you need them and if you dont see them the bell is there for you to ring. No complaints with the service so far. The wait time of the food is reasonable at best, so no complaints there either. 10/10Food is great depending on what you get. Filipinos love their chicken and have a standard with fried chicken. However, TwoZone chicken is really good. I would say it is up there to my top 5 favorite chicken places. I tried the Half Chicken, Wings, and additonal sides such as Tteokbokki, Fries, and others. Beverage selection is decent at best. Really good stuff, and the portions are decent! I prefer eating spicy, and if you choose the spicy sauce, you really get that spicy kick you are asking for. 10/10If you want to dazzle up your taste buds, TwoZone is the place to go. Awesome atmosphere, decent service, and great food. Definitely a new hidden gem in the area. Only complaints are the lack of napkins and access to water for those who are dining in be prepared to get your hands dirty. Great place overall! ??????

Either dine-in or take-out, it is always worth the nice drive to this secluded restaurant. No language barrier... they always understand me and my family. (we are only English speaking due to lack of education) Ive been to many Japanese cuisine restaurants in California, and this one has to offer a wonderful blend of Korean and Japanese selections. The staff is always polite; and, helpful with selections when we want to try something different. Beautiful desert scenery to view through large windows. Spacious parking, too!

I live in Idyllwild and Mile High Cafe really really cares about their patrons. The food is always great and fresh, you can get a fabulous home cooked meal yet they have some wonderful Korean dishes that are the BEST! The service is excellent run by a Mom and her son, they are the only ones in town that offer fresh sushi and Poke Bowls. But you must make a reservation for those days, thats how popular this wonderful restaurant is. Its our go to spot in Idyllwild when I have guests in town that want a wonderfully cooked fresh meal. Not only, they are one of the only ones in town that have a generator when the power goes out in our town. I cannot even recommend one dish as all of our meals have been fantastic!
Philly Steak & Subs
15776 Main St STE 22, Hesperia, CA 92345, United States
When I was 18 years old the Navy sent me to a specialty school right after bootcamp in Great Lakes Illinois. A friend of mine was going home to see his girl one weekend and asked me to go with to meet his girls best friend. We had a huge meal that night at his folks place. We were getting ready to split to p/u the girls. As went downstairs and walked thru the living room his Dad just out of the blue belted out Cheese Steak and my friend and I were sent to retrieve a cheese steak sandwich for all in the home. I was still packed full grom the dinner and really couldnt imagine eating anything else that early. Wr walked around the corner of his house to a street vendor whose only main item was the soon to be discovered delicacy I had never known before this. The smell in the air alone had me forget about dinner. Nefer before had I had any sandwich or even a main course taste so fantastic. After finishing the courses I was sent to take and being transfered away from what became mu weekend staple, I was never able to find a Cheesesteak ever again, for years I craved that taste no one could reproduce. That is until the early 90s a contractor named Bruno Marcinelli built a strip mall on Main St around 8th Ave.One of the original tenants in the strip mall was Philly Steak & Subs. I remember seeing the sign and thinking it was to be yet another disappointing let down to my sense of smell and taste. So much so I hesitated for over a month even trying the place. One day I overheard a co-worker raving about the place at lunchtime in a rather convincing manner about the place. It was his day to fly and pick up the phone order. I declined the offer opting out of stubbornness for something I would call in and pick up from the Chinese place next to Chief Auto. Upon my return to A&A Carpet with my meal, my sense of smell immediately produced a nasal quiver not as intense since Chicago. I couldnt even touch the Chinese food. Immediately I ran to Philly Steak and Subs for what ended up being the end of my search for the taste of that first Cheese steak in Chicago.I have enjoyed Philly Cheese Steak And Subs for 20 some years now. The owners and staff are very friendly and your order is always made hot and fresh. They have a great assortment of other delicious entrees and sides to choose from. All freshly made to order and all offered for a very reasonable price. Philly Steak and Subs makes THE BEST Cheese Steak, not just in the High Desert but anywhere in Southern California. Be warned however when eating there, Your taste buds are gonna quiver and shake and around the third or fourth bite into this wonderful delicacy, Your taste buds will take You to a MouthGasm so intense you will return over abd over again. Best Place For A hot Sandwhich in the desert. Only drag about the place is they are closed Sundays.

Katsunori Sushi Restaurant

The food was delicious but the service was horrendous. We arrived at 3 pm on a Saturday and there was a 20 minute wait. We didn't mind and had our name put on the list, sat in our car, and received a text message when it was our turn.My friend ordered two rolls and I ordered a single roll - the ‘HD roll'.After being seated and ordering we waited one hour before receiving our food. When it arrived, both of our orders came on a single serving dish. I asked for a plate so I can eat my roll and the server seemed upset by this and snatched the entire platter off of our table to have the sushi chefs replate it but I told her it wasn't necessary I just needed a plate for myself. She made another server bring us a plate and made a comment about us ‘sharing' even though we had each ordered separately. No one checked on us the entire time we were eating to see if we needed anything and it took a while to get their attention to ask to pay. Our whole ordeal took more than 2 hours. While we were waiting there was a customer who had been waiting for her to go order. As she was leaving I heard one of the chefs make a sarcastic comment about her to another chef. I didn't think that was appropriate. The restrooms were also dingy and had dead flies on the floor.Despite the horrible service there was a lot of people waiting to eat here. They had a large group of people standing outside, quite a few waiting inside, and I am sure there were many sitting in their car. So, they must be doing something right.
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill
12845 Main St, Hesperia, CA 92345, United States
We visited the location at Main Street in Hesperia, California today to celebrate our friends birthday. Upon arrival, we requested a table large enough for our group. We were told that both the party room and the whole side of the restaurant that was not already full were reserved for large parties that would soon be arriving. They refused to accommodate our needs, even though one of the people in our group is 95 years old. We were forced to sit at two separate tables and not together. Initially, our server, Victoria, told us that she would not give us clean cups for drink refills, and even though she had a handful of dirty cups, sarcastically said that she could keep each persons cup straight. We very quickly realized that she would go to every other table except ours to refill drinks. She also refused to take our dirty plates away, and yet found it somehow appropriate to make a sarcastic comment when we would remove the plates ourselves or go get drink refills ourselves. After quite a while of this, we approached the Manager, Tiffany. She told us that not only were there no reservations that day for large parties (those areas remained vacant), but that she would also send a different server, Angelina. What followed was that the Manager Tiffany, Victoria, and Angelina would walk back and forth past our area several times laughing. Angelina not once came over to our tables. She would go to the table next to us, serve them, shoot us a dirty look, and then go back and laugh with her friends, Victoria and Tiffany. In addition, Tiffany sent one person alone over to sing Happy Birthday to our friend, while the three of them went clapping and singing to another table. Tiffany not once came to re-check our experience. To be quite honest, we were mortified by the lack of professionalism, not only by the servers, but by the person put in charge to supposedly supervise them. We were more in an episode of Mean Girls or junior high school bullying than in a professional establishment. If you cant ask the manager for assistance, who can you ask? When you voice a concern and you get laughed at and ignored for the remainder of your visit, its truly disgusting! Tiffany, Victoria, and Angelina may have thought they were funny and not have cared about their poor and unprofessional behavior and how they treated our group today, but hopefully someone will care about this review. Not to mention the power of word-of-mouth. Shame on the three of them for representing Golden Corral in such an unprofessional manner. I truly hope that this is not behavior that this company condones. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Love Oasis Sushi

Have been going to this place for over 2 years and last weekend we had enough, this new personal has no idea how to treat customers right .This white young waitress on Sundays is just terrible. She had us waiting for over half hour just to mess up our orderWe stop on Sunday to get some rolls to go, we went straight to the counter to place the order and she ignored us completely, it toke her at least 10 minutes to get our order, she said there was a 30 minute wait and we found that awkward since there was no people but we decided to wait, we order a calamari roll and she got us tempura calamaris, she messed up the order and instead of apologizing she said well at least you got the calamaris whats the problem.we asked her to fix the order and she said we were gonna have to wait another half hour since she had other customers already, then we asked her to remake the whole order since all the other rolls would go bad while we were waiting, thats where she lost it and told us we were crazy if we thought she was gonna remake the whole order, then another waitress guy jumped up and told us there was no way they were redoing anythingwe asked to talk to the owner and they said she was not there and they could not do anything about it, we could either take the food the way it was or wait for the other roll, we ended up getting our money back and leaving disappointed at this new employeesGet the old employees back, you just lost a few loyal customers
