Ok Tofu House
10560 Magnolia Ave D, Riverside, CA 92505, United States
This is always been our favorite Korean restaurant since we moved to Riverside. There are not many Korean restaurants around and here you find homemade receipe. Tofu soup is the basic but you can also find beef rib soup or Korean casserole pot. Their pancake is very good too. We love the owner and he is super friendly every time we visit. Highly recommend.

Simply delicious! My mother and all of her Korean friends eat here as often as they can! This place sets the bar for all other Korean restaurants - VERY HIGH. The reply below is a response to my mistaking this place for another which I gave a lower rating to. It’d get 10 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ if I could.

Red Castle Korean BBQ
403 S Riverside Ave, Rialto, CA 92376, United States
Update November 23:Redecorated and minor changes to menu.We walked into the happy hour promotion and got a free upgrade, pay for menu a and get menu b. So it more than compensated for the recent price rise. The big surprise is some of the meat items improved, and new ones added. Squid is now a whole squid instead of slices. Thats unheard of at the value end of the market. Highlight of the new stuff are the spicy beef belly, thin sliced pork belly, all of them recommended. Fans of brisket should try the beef belly as the extra fat makes it more flavorful. The seasoning of bulgongi is now traditional but slightly bland. A little more seasoning would be perfect. The steak is the same old steak, slightly on the low end of marbling, but its not realistic to expect more. As a yardstick its better than Texas Roadhouse and this is all you can eat, repeat order if you want a challenge. Steam egg improved, still my favorite. So not only price champion, but quality now comparable to mid price, even touching high end fine dining in parts. One star added to food. People who are inclined should ask for chilli paste, on top of the sauce and oil on the table.Service is fast, courteous and patient. Fully justified the enforced service charge. For example the grill was changed out every fifteen twenty minutes, which I thought was more often than strictly necessary. Im okay with a crusted grill. My previous main complaint of low heating power was addressed. The new burner was adequate. Very easy to get good color with thin slices, thicker cuts still need a little time.Overall a must visit just on value proposition and flavor. Happy hour is truly happy. My friend was making tentative plans to go regularly, and the return of draft beer may nudge him into it.2021:Menu a is price champion in south California. We had menu b for the added variety at $4 premium. Meat quality average to above average. Seasoning is funny on some, like lemon on beef bugongi, Id prefer if they stick to classic flavor profile.Service friendly and fast, and rated above average to fair, mainly because the restaurant is full and shes channeling Eddie Murphy, but still managed to gave us everything we asked including extra napkins and tongs. Yes the young lady did drop one out of four in our second round, but I felt no big hardship because we can order again right after.Serving sizes some generous and some less, but no stopping anyone to order again, and came out promptly within 3 minutes. No attempt to delay or skim on orders, so no need to order too far ahead and unable to finish. The only nick pick being the burner was low on heating power, they could increase the table turnover for a bigger burner. And less so for the lack of any dessert on menu. Id love a palate cleanser, if not breath refresher, to finish the meal.My favorite offerings are steamed egg, squid, octopus, spare ribs and potatoe salad.20 minutes wait for a table on a Monday at 7 PM. Send advance party to sign up on queue, especially weekends.Despite price rise of $2 to 17.99 menu a, 21.99 menu b, this is my number one pick for Korean bbq, a no contest best buy. Theres better quality meats and better seasoning out there, but nowhere near this price. Ideal for economical family dinner or casual friends gathering, where the diy cook-your-own forces interaction and conversation, no everybody working their phones and ignore each other. Not for hardline vegetarians.

Where do I begin? First and foremost. All their plate dishes are very sweet. They use way too much sugar on their dishes. I have tried bulgogi plate, spicy pork, and squid or octopus plate even their curry plate. Thinking that hopefully this time they will get it right but NO.. All the dishes are way too sweet. If youre a diabetic avoid this place its really bad for you. Whoever is making the food in the kitchen doesnt know how to cook in my opinion. Im Korean so I know how korean food should taste. Ive been to many different korean restaurants all over United States from California to New York. So take it from me. This restaurant isnt all that great hence the 2 star rating. Im sure there are other korean restaurants that offers way better food and options for the similar price range in the area. I will never order from this place again.

Flame Broiler
10303-A Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92505, United States
A food and safety HAZARD! I found sharp shards of something in my mom's bowl and she could not eat the bowl at all. I called and told them what I found and the young guy there said they will not do anything about it. He said the only way to fix it is to make it back in time to return the bowl and have a new one made (mind you, I live 20 minutes away, and they were closing in 10 minutes). I explained this to him, along with the fact that my mom could not eat the food with sharp unknown objects in it, and would appreciate just a store credit for tomorrow. However, he said he didn't care that my mom was hurt from trying to eat the bowl or that our money was wasted from the inedible food, and proceeded to hang up. So disappointed because I pass other flame broilers just to come to this one and get this poor customer service… I absolutely will not be returning.

A very delicious taste of Northern Italy. Usually the title Italian restaurants barely enough to fit are usually the most authentic and best tasting. And this place did no fail. The decor and ambience brings you to a little Italian cafe in Northern Italy. Service was also a plus. The head chef made his way around to make sure the guests were enjoying the food. I ordered the Frutti De Mar with the Squid ink pasta. Definitely in my top 2! The squid ink pasta is officially my favorite type of pasta after having it at Bella Trattoria! Perfect amount of clams and shrimp in the dish as well. Pasta was definitely al dente as all pasta should be! Definitely a new favorite place to eat in the city for me!

Went a couple weeks ago and used to go often but last time had such a horrible experience. my son wanted to get food so we stopped by and apparently the payment machine sometimes has problems with certain cards. the guy said its not taking your card its saying ap due, I asked what that meant and he says I dont know but its not taking it, ended up at Carls Jr next door card was fine, called my bank and the charge had gone through with flame broiler. bank tells me to call them because its sounds fishy said I should be careful with them. had to talk to Linda the owner and she told me to wait a week for the refund, she said the machine sometimes acts up. I will not be returning. they lost another customer.

Wang Cho Korean BBQ
3639 Riverside Plaza Dr, Riverside, CA 92506, United States
Visiting the Riverside area, we decided to get some Korean BBQ and settled on Wang Cho. Overall, we had a very nice experience at Wang Cho.We went with the King menu.Lots of choices, although we mainly stuck with beef items. The spicy pork spareribs were great. The seasoning and spice level is not as aggressive. Some might say their food lacks flavor. To each his own.Service is attentive, and food comes quickly. Perhaps because it was a Monday. After placing an order, items would arrive in 2 to 3 minutes.I like how they place a tray on the side of the table so that raw items can stay off the table and dirty dishes can be placed on the tray and whisked away Grill cover changes are frequent, and the servers come by often to see if you want to order anything more.Overall Wang Cho is a good korean bbq restaurant, in my opinion. Its not as loud and industrial looking likeGen BBQ and unlike Gen BBQ, their food comes quicker.

Two Hands Corn Dogs
1299 Galleria At Tyler, Riverside, CA 92503, United States
Waste of money and time. We were really disappointed. These have nothing to do with corn dogs theres no cornbread involved, only a yeasty white dough that the dog is swathed in and rolled in crumbs and fried. The bread dough was bland and undercooked and chewy, no flavor like a corndog. You cant call them a corndog if they are not cornbread. Second, we found that the ingredients on top were just too much. The bread was annoying gross and the potatoes or other toppings were too much trouble and also bland. We had to wait 30 minutes in line to receive our order too, while watching this horrifically disgusting video of people trying to eat their corndogs in the most disgusting and messy way. Really who wants to watch a mouth zoomed in and eating with their mouth open and stuffing as much food in it as possible? It was so gross to watch while waiting for our food. We ended up taking the dough and breading off our corndogs and tossing it.
