Me and my husband went there for the first time last week on wed..since its near our house, the girl waiter was taking her sweet time to come get our order..then when our food was done..she never went to get it from the bar..even tho the cook kept on ringing the bell..she would just look at it..and ignored it..it sat up there for about 10 minutes OR longer..so we got tired of waiting..and mind you it was only 3 tables of customers us and another family who were already there and already had there food..then a man walked in alone and since they were flirting/talking she only stood there talking to him and giving him beer and ignored us and the cook..so after 10 minutes or longer we got up and told the cook that we were leaving because are rolls had already been up there for over than 10 minutes and shes just ignoring us he just said ok..because he knew he kept on ringing the bell for her that they were ready and she would just look over there and keept on doing nothing..so we told him we were leaving..and we left..we were probably there for over 30 minutes just being ignored..horrible service and we didnt even get to try it..the cook is our witness..i hope the owners see this..

This is by far the worst flame broiler Ive been to. Ive given them a few opportunities realizing anyone can have a bad day. They ALWAYS disappoint! Today I ordered a chicken bowl with avocado. I specifically asked for extra crispy extra cooked chicken. It seemed pretty simple instructions; however, they botched it...again. My chicken was not well cooked. Some of it seemed raw in the center so I tossed it. I did not want to risk it. Im 100% convinced that they do not care to satisfy customers. It has happened before. The avocado was spoiled black with 70% dark brown/black spots everywhere. I tossed all of it out. The rice was the only thing that was fine. It was a ToGO order and did not have time to go back so Im out $12. With the previous bad customer service, I will NOT be going back!

Rescue Brewery already wins many stars by its name and mission. They are promoting those who serve, and adding rescue dogs in need of a home. Thats a win all day. Oh ya and they also have wonderful beer haha. We stopped by on Fathers day and enjoyed 2 rounds of tasters. Places like this make it difficult, because when you try lots of good of beer, and not enough time, youre having to narrow your choices lol. I guess thats a good problem to have. I leaned toward the hazy beers, while my wife enjoyed the Pineapple Whippet and the Mango Blonde. Their selection covers all palates and what they do different, is they sell a 4 pack of beers that you can mix and match. We bought one those and love that idea. Most places make you buy the same beer in 4 or 6 packs, which is cool, but a mix is great too. So next time youre in downtown Upland, swing by this tasty brewery and enjoy good beer, good food. On a side note, where this is located is only 60 feet from the gazebo I proposed to my wife, so this place rocks haha. ????

I came by myself to grab an early dinner never been here before I didnt realize that she sat me in a corner under a TV I was wondering why everybody was looking my way and then I looked up and saw the TV I felt kind of mortified and I couldnt relax eating but I forged on I ordered spicy tuna roll that did not look like the picture the picture had jalapeno on top of it and I ordered vegetable tempura she comes with the spicy tuna and walks away after setting it down never asked me if I wanted wasabi went all the way down to the end of the restaurant I didnt want to shout or hold my hand up high because she never looked my way so I just sat there and waited cuz I knew the vegetable tempura was coming when she finally came I said Id like Wasabi and Ginger in the tempura came and all my life this is been my favorite dish so everything was big and round and it was all the same vegetable except one and then I was given a very tiny dish to dip it in and I mean tiny with half filled it wasnt enough I had to break it apart Im used to straight pieces like green beans squash I like zucchini something straight nevertheless I broke it in half and tried to dip it it went pretty fast after two pieces and I did not enjoy eating the same thing with each one the sushi I did not like it whatsoever it would taste something like you would get at a supermarket oh when I tried to tell her I wouldnt have sat here had I known the TV was above me she started walking away when I spoke so no thank you to any of it

I ordered through doordash and when my order was delivered to me it was missing an item. I called the habit and when they answered, I told them why I was calling and the woman asked to put me on hold while she looked up the order. I agreed and was placed on hold for 25 minutes. She never came back on the call. I finally hung up and called back and asked to speak to a manager. She told me that there was no manager and she is only to take orders. She was very rude on the phone and I proceeded to tell her fine I would be coming to the restaurant. When I arrived at the store it was brought to my attention that this store doesn't takes calls and that they have a call center. The manager I spoke to stated to me that he would make my order and I said no because by this time already I had been on the phone for 25 minutes and had ate dinner already. The manager also stated that it was on doordash and I told him that he was speaking to a doordash employee and we aren't even to touch the food inside the bags during the pandemic and I told him that the one responsible for this issue was The Habit because they never placed the item in the bag and doubled checked the order. My issue at hand is not that my food was missing but the lack of costumer service given was unacceptable. I am highly disappointed in the service I received!All of this upsets more than ever because this order was placed for my grandparents and trying to teach them how to order food online since we are to be sheltering in place during this pandemic and The Habit ruined this by not owning up to their mistake and the poor customer service. Customer service should always come first.

Egg N Bird just hatched.Its brand new to Upland CA.Its a small business with only a few tables to dine in @.The service is eggcellent;) Super friendly and welcoming staff.The food is prepared fresh, and its pretty good.I got the Nashville hot, the egg bird, and 5 korean Sammys.All were good, but my only complaint is that the buns need to be warmed up.The best Sammy was the egg bird, which was absolutely perfect.Overall, it was a decent spot for some delicious chicken tender Sammys.They also have some yummy fries.They remind me of Rallys fries, but way better!They have chicken wings and a few other things, so we will for sure will return to try some more...

POOR QUALITY, WON'T COME BACK!First, I'd like to mention that there is a note posted asking customers for yelp reviews in exchange for a free dessert. I hope everyone who posts a good review is genuine and truly had a great experience not just doing so in order to get something free.It saddens me to see the decline in quality of this place. I remember years ago when the food was so great that I didn't mind waiting for a table and I even put up with their bad service because of it. We just visited and as it stands today, it is clear that they are cutting corners, they are no longer making the rolls as they are described on the menu, and even worse, their explanation is to simply “come back another day when the other chef is there”.Hello??? How about training ALL chefs to keep the same standards?! Doesn't seem that hard. We paid $67 for 2 super small bland rolls and 2 beers and left still hungry. We couldn't bare to order anything else. I won't be surprised to see more of these reviews as we heard the staff apologize to at least 3 other tables. Needless to say, we will not go back to this place again.After leaving here, we found Sumo Sushi on Mountain. We ended up getting 4 regular sized rolls (when you order 3 rolls, they give you the 4th for free) plus a bottle of Sake, ALL FOR $65. We couldn't finish it all so we ended up with lunch for the next day! Hey, at least our night ended well!

My wife and I heard about this new place in Ontario because a Pastor and his wife went. We went on Tuesday this past we and to say the least we were not happy with our visit.The food presentation was the greatest. The fried chicken skin was dark fryer oil hadnt been changed although the chicken was good . I have over 15 years restuarant management experience and I know a kitchen and soul food.The waffle batter was too thick no matter how much you cook it it didnt appear to be done and the taste was even worse. The macaroni cheese was good but it was warm. We drove all the way down from Victorville to eat at the restaurant. We spent $48 for two dinners and the prices were kind of high for the area right by the air port you guys gotta get it right!! We will support black business but your heart has to be in your own business. Also the owner stood right next to my wife and I dor about 10 minutes and never spoke. There were only 3 people in the restaurant. Custom service needs to improve if they want to be successful. Maybe they didnt get into the food industry to serve quality food at great prices... No disrespect intended but I must say black owned businesses have to do it better because every other people Koreans, Philippinos, etc open up Fish Frys, Fried Chicken Shops etc. They seem to do business better and they give the local communities what they want and they succeed...

This is the WORST Winstop Ive ever been to. I normally go to one closer by my house but I made the mistake of ordering from this one, so I decided to call them and ask them to cancel or transfer my order, I paid online ($30) and after being put on hold for 10 min. I told one of the girls to cancel my order, she then transfered me to the manager, and I told him the same story, and his response was oh uh, theres some number you can call on your order sheet and see what they can do, we dont do refunds here. I told him why wouldnt you be able to cancel or refund it? he said no like, we dont handle the online stuff, its all done somewhere else, like we dont even get a ticket number so I said alright if I have to call I will, no issue. I look on the order sheet and the website and theres only locations numbers to call, so I call upland back, and was put on hold for 36 min. and I spoke with the manager and said theres no number to call, he said oh well you might want to avoid calling corporate, or something, but the best thing you can do is call up your bank and cancel it with them, I mean, I cant help you or do anything. I tell him, Ill drive back 25 miles to pick it up, so my order was supposed to be ready at 8:49, I get there at 920, and my order is not ready until 10:03, beyond ridiculous. However, Im beyond the point of annoyance and frustration, so she reads my order to me, and they gave me 20 wings of the wrong flavor. I was so upset, and told her no, the wings should be a different flavor, she puts the receipt in my face and says look, this says this flavor, I showed her my phone and the correct order, she said well lts gonna be another hour wait time. The girls at the counter gave me complete attitude and as much as I wanted to throw the wings in her face I kept my composure and not once did I raise my voice or give attitude back. I felt the need to include my patience even though it was beyond gone, but overall, I will never order/eat at this location again. I used to about 4 years ago but never will l make that mistake again. The staffs work duties is beyond their understanding and absolutely not worth the wait or the time. I would rather go out of my way to a different one 15 miles out even if Im right next to them.
