Fat Chance Food Hall

My chicken was mostly breading, a bit overcooked and i only had like 5 onion rings. However, my girlfriends Asian chicken salad was quite good. The service was great, I left a tip because they helped me out with my order In a way they didnt have to

BratPak Dog Kamp
3841 First St, Livermore, CA 94551, United States
We LOVE BratPak! Our very active pit bull mix has been welcomed with open arms. We can tell that the staff really loves and enjoys him! They have cameras of their yards with live footage anytime we feel like checking in. Our pup is always actively playing or being loved on when we've taken a peak! We have boarded him a few times in addition to daycare 2-3 times/week. They are always happy to provide an update on his well-being or send a pic.All pups go through a greeting test & trial. This has helped us to feel secure & safe. We truly believe that BratPark prioritizes pup health and safety. Prior to coming to BratPak we had taken our pup to another doggy care center closer to our house and we did not feel that this was the case. Health and safety is worth the extra 10 min drive!Last thing I think is especially important to mention is that the pups at BratPak have access to all day play. I didn't realize how many facilities keep pups in separate daycare/boarding rooms… only letting them out for designated play times. Because BratPak takes safety so seriously, all pups can play all day together (there's multiple yards so they can manage size differences etc.). Our pup comes home well socialized (with humans & many dogs) AND exhausted. He's never trapped in a space by himself. If he needs/wants rest or space, he's taken inside and brought back out as soon as he's ready… no anxiety inducing isolation.BratPak is the best choice for your dog!!

This review is exclusively about the boba at this location. Ive ordered it twice and I was so impressed that I had to leave a review. My Expectations:If Im being honest, I wasnt expecting much for a place that boba appears to be only a side item amongst several in an extensive menu. I was actually apprehensive because of the claims of quality ingredients, like organic milk. Since most out-of-the-way spots like this tend to skimp on the ingredients to reduce overhead and maximize the margins due to scarce customers. I had a bad experience in the same plaza at the fish market when I bought a whole order of sturgeon and catfish that I had to throw away because it had gone bad by the time I made it home. I was happy to say that I was dead wrong! My Experience:Both times I came, there were several customers enjoying their food, hinting at this place being an out of the way gem as opposed to a risky experience. I ordered the brown sugar boba, a favorite of mine, and definitely a hit or miss item. This time it was an absolute hit. The organic milk was delicious and easier on my stomach, and I had a very pleasant ride home enjoying my drink. I was so impressed that had I not been driving, I would have probably left a review even though it was based off one experience. My second experience was equally inspiring when I ordered my strawberry kiwi smoothie. Everything from the consistency to each flavor filled sip was just how I wished it would be. I can confidently say this place is worth coming to just for the boba. I couldnt even wait to reach home and began to dictate this review to my phone as I drove. Sorry not sorry. Cant wait to come back again for some more. Easy five stars!
Ofelias Kitchen
850 Hillcrest Ave, Livermore, CA 94550, United States
I was impressed by a couple things here. First, homemade bread. This is definitely a plus and you can really tell that it hasnt been sitting on a shelf somewhere for a week. The vegetarian options and the sheer amount of green he is staggering. They certainly dont skimp on the greens here. But I wasnt really in the mood for rabbit food so I looked over the menu and was happy to see their are about as many meaty options as their are not. Overall pretty good. This place was busy, but the wait really wasnt all that long. The owners were also considerate of the group and made sure everyones meal was ready at about the same time.
Kokolo Donburi
2495 First St, Livermore, CA 94550, United States
I came here with my husband after initially avoiding it on opening day (“What's so special about some rice bowls?” I arrogantly thought) but eventually deciding to give it a try due to all the positive reviews.Damn, I regret waiting so long to come here. The meat is incredibly tender and moist, the katsu breading is crispy and crunchy, everything is wonderfully seasoned… and the service is honestly the best service I've received in Livermore.Echoing other comments: staff are so incredibly friendly, we also got free miso soup, extra curry sauce AND when I mentioned I wanted the appetiser for the cabbage/veggies in the middle, they not absolutely loaded the centre with cabbage! We went back and tipped them extra after that… and promptly came back the next day for more food!So far in our 2 visits we've tried:- fried oysters- spring rolls- pork katsudon- chicken katsu curry don- wagyu beef sukiyaki with udon- unagi donburi (eel)Portions are very generous. We ate a LOT and still took home enough for a whole extra meal. We are going to be regulars here for sure.
Shwe Myanmar Burmese Cuisine
1106 E Stanley Blvd, Livermore, CA 94550, United States
After a tour of Burma (aka Myanmar) a few years ago we found a Burmese restaurant in SF that we dined at a few times. We seldom eat out in the tri-valley area but then we saw this restaurant while shopping, we picked up a take-out menu and put this on our list to try. Now with Shelter-in-Place we wanted to support our local restaurants. After getting a few recommendations from the hostess we ordered 4 dishes - appetizer salad, noodles, fried rice and main disk. Ample portions for the 2 of us, so leftovers. The spicy dishes (we asked all to be spicy) was not too spicy and all were very tasty. We will definitely continue to support and patronize this fine restaurant.
Manpuku
4363 First St, Livermore, CA 94551, United States
I chose to try this place out based on the reviews. The atmosphere was okay, but the smell of the restaurant was off like cleaning supplies. The woman who served us was very nice. My cousin and I came to in to the restaurant for the ramen. I can see that most of the 4/5 star reviews is for sushi. I read several other people saying the same thorns about my experience. The ramen was so incredibly bland. I ordered the veggie ramen and the tofu in it was tiny pieces you could barely see and seemed like dehydrated tofu pieces. There was really no flavor at all and the noodles felt like instant noodles. The whole ramen experience was worse than buying packaged ramen noodles from the store.
First Street Alehouse
2106 First St, Livermore, CA 94550, United States
Staff great...food fine but tiny flies and big flies. Yes patio seating, but wait folks...food is hardened on table and not removed just pushed below surface by wiping. Not really cleaned. Theyll have to under table with scrapers first of all. Like gum removal metal or better yet wire bristle and remove the old darkened food bits 1st! THEN utilize bleach tags scrubbing areas that were holy-openings and thoroughly g.j ht scrub letting bleach solution percentage by Alameda Co. Health regualtion[no I didnt repott-hey owners opportunity arises for you and your Staff before opening-street teams) and THEN use disinfectant properly so they wont be attracted to our food constantly. Yes outside is one thing but right outside the door and not just flies. Tetsie flies in out breakfast. CLEAN UP.Food is meadioker but thats not why people flock here. Theyre here for the beer and alcohol. Prices are good too. I mean where can you go in the Tri-Valkey and get breakfast for 12.99 ? Here. Plenty of coverage. At night you cant a table in our popular outside. Most popular cafe/bar in Downtown Livermore PERIOD. Good for them. If they take time for a pro cleaning crew (outside holed black tables so liquids can fall through). Theve Bern here for a while and you know food build up can happen especially walls under tables like beebs. But if they got that patio prepared in that dept. Theyd get a four star Yelp from our Family. Wente has more customers. But outright busiest place night or day in Livermore hands down for dining. Table not visible in photos. Below umbrellas.
China Pavilion Restaurant
1460 N Vasco Rd, Livermore, CA 94551, United States
It was our first time eating at China Pavilion. They were open during labor day holiday. We were in route for home from camping when hunger struck. Reviewers said food was good so we took a chance. There were six of us. After realizing we could order from the lunch menu, we ordered accordingly. Every dish came with hot & sour soup, fried wonton, and steamed white rice. The soup had plenty of flavor, a certainly good starter. Wonton was freshly fried and rice was steaming hot. Brown rice was an available option too. Anyways, everyone chose a different dish including pork ribs with black bean sauce, spicy egg plant with pork, honey walnut prawns, and Kung Pao chicken. Additionally, we also ordered house combination chow mein, and garlic stir fried spinach to share. I personally ordered curry chicken. Although others said their food was good, mine was questionable. There were more water chestnuts than chicken. The curry taste was also bit mild for my taste. I did taste the pork ribs and found it hard. Other dishes were great. So, their food is not consistent were some are good, and others not much. It almost seems like they have a couple chefs and one is better than the other. The restaurant was clean, with minimal decor. Its brightly lit by large windows, typical of shopping mall structures. The staff was friendly making sure we had water, and tea always. Service was quick and painless otherwise. We spent almost $100 for our meal. Its worth a follow-up visit the next time we are in the area.
Terra Mia
4040 East Ave, Livermore, CA 94550, United States
This review is a 5+++ star review for our server David G.This is our second year that we have had our company holiday dinner at Terra Mia. Each time we have had the Barolo room. It holds up to 50 people and is a private room behind the dining room. When booking your event, I have worked with Francesco both years and he is very easy to work with. He communicates well and helps with any questions that you may have. They have different packages that you can choose from. We have the dinner sit down dinner menu. They also offer a buffet. This comes with different pizzas for appetizers, salad and bread, your entree and then dessert. You will have 3 different entrees to offer your guests and if you have any allergies or special needs they will accommodate you.In our party, we have 2 plant based eaters (me included) and they did not disappoint. They gave us a pasta primavera in a vegan pesto sauce. I would highly recommend adding this to your regular menu as it was delicious and there are a lot more plant based / vegans who appreciate having a dish for them on the menu instead of having to ask for something special. Definitely a keeper! The other entrees (Salmon, Pollo Saltimbocca and Cannelloni) were all big hits. If asked how to make improvements, the comments I heard were that the black rice with the salmon was not liked by many (hard and crunchy) and the polenta that came with the Pollo had a strange texture. As I did not eat these I can not add any comments. The biggest star is of course the Tiramisu. I have nothing to say except that I hope licking a plate in public is acceptable because that is how good this dessert is.Now back to David. Wow, just wow! What a gentleman. Polite, professional, attentive, awesome memory and even a great sense of humor! David was one of the most positive experiences I have ever had. I can not thank you enough for taking such good care of us.If you are considering having a party here do not hesitate, you will have a great experience.
