Bone & Broth - Vietnamese Pho Cuisine

1. LocationBone & Broth sits on the outer perimeter of Ontario Mills next to McDonalds. It is also 10 mins away from Ontario Airport.2. ParkingThere is ample space in the plaza so parking is not an issue.3. OrderedCrispy Salmon & Rice (Cm Cá Chiên)House Special Fried Chicken Wings (Cánh Gà Chiên Nớc Mắm)Thai Tea4. ThoughtsI came to Bone & Broth during their Grand Opening. The overall feel of the restaurant was very modern and welcoming with an open floor plan. The star anise designs scattered throughout were a nice touch to the décor and goes well with the restaurants name. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. The staff was very attentive in seating us promptly and providing service throughout our time there. They made sure to sit patrons 6 feet apart from other groups/parties.We ordered the House Special Fried Chicken Wings as an appetizer. It was marinated well in a garlicky fish sauce and was a tasty starter. The Crispy Salmon & Rice was made perfectly to provide a crispy and flaky taste and paired well with the house special sauce. The house special sauce was a refreshing and tangy accompaniment to the crispy salmon, rice, and veggies. The Thai tea was made just right and not too sweet at all. They also had an option for a green Thai Tea that was equally as tasty.5. Recommend?Yes! Bone & Broth is a family-owned restaurant with an assortment of delicious Vietnamese food options. It has a lot of potential to be something great for the area.
Bengee Sushi
1953 E 4th St, Ontario, CA 91764, United States
Tonight, my friend and I went to an unassuming looking sushi restaurant. Although the decoration is simple, the atmosphere is warm. Fresh ingredients and a great service menu enhanced our dining experience. On display is a stunning array of delightful sushi dishes, each piece a testament to the chefs dedication to quality. Our unpretentious passion allows us to focus on the culinary journey, savoring the delicious flavors and appreciating the art behind each roll. The attentive service of the staff added to the overall satisfaction and made us feel truly welcome. What these hidden gems may lack in grandeur, they make up for it with genuine hospitality and a commitment to delivering an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this sushi paradise to anyone who appreciates authenticity and a cozy environment as well as the pleasure of eating freshly prepared delicious sushi.

I have nothing but great things to say about my recent Taycan leasing experience with Sales Ambassador Gilbert Villagrana and Finance Ambassador Shelly Fisher III. Both were ultra professional and helpful at every stage. I emailed the dealership about a Taycan 4S that had just arrived, and heard back from Gilbert the same day, with a video of the car. The next day we negotiated a very competitive lease price, and I put down a deposit to hold the car. I then discovered I needed a bigger battery and asked Gilbert to find me a different 4S, in a hard-to-find color, with other desired options. Diring the next two weeks he scoured all available and incoming inventory at dealerships throughout Ca and neighboring states, keeping me posted along the way. Eventually Gilbert found just the right car coming into another dealership.Even though Porsche Ontario needed to swap a car with a dealership hundreds of miles away to get me the one I wanted, they honored the original price we had negotiated for a car in their inventory. The day after I signed the lease, Gilbert drove 6 hours to pick up my car at the other dealership, dropped his own car off, and then drove my car another 3 hours further to deliver it to my home. I told him he didnt need to do that, but Gilbert wanted to configure the PCM and other systems, explain the cars features, and answer any questions I might have. He then Ubered back to the other dealership to pick up his own car and return home. All on a Friday! During the next week Gilbert checked in regularly and helped answer my follow-up questions. The Taycan is a complicated car and this proved very helpful. Hows that for going the extra mile?Shelly was also great to deal with. Ive come to dread the usual finance department add-on pitches and hard sells. Thats not what I encountered with Shelly. He explained the add-on packages that Porsche makes available, made straightforward recommendations about what he thought made sense for a lessee, and completely left it to me to decide with no pressure whatsoever. Shelly also arranged for me to docu-sign all the papers and expedited completion of my lease.Im an attorney, I dislike surprises, and I know when someone is trying to game me. I encountered none of that. On the contrary, I have never had a better car buying/leasing experience with any brand or dealership. Not even close. These gentlemen are the best, bar none. I would do business again with either of them, and with the Porsche Ontario dealership, in a flash. As for the Taycan 4S, its a high spirited thing of beauty. I have never driven anything quite like this solid rocket. After blast off, you can just sit back and enjoy the sound system, which also delivers the best acoustic experience Ive ever had. Nice work Porsche. Now Im thinking 12k/year will not be enough.
Olive Grill
302 S Milliken Ave # C, Ontario, CA 91761, United States
I really like this place; the menu exactly hits the spot for anyone looking for a great lunch spot with modest prices and has a variety of flavor palettes. In one meal I had an Italian item and an Asian item; both were executed flavorfully (not bland) and thoughtfully (the flavors were exciting and authentic). Not only that, but there are many different platforms for the flavors, whether by bowl, bun, wrap, or noodle.Importantly, the portion sizes were satisfying! Finally customer service and speed is good. I dont know if its their preferred method, but if youre not able to call, they also take orders by email. Useful for detailed orders or during a work meeting!
Golden Chopstix
1312 E Ontario Ave # 107, Corona, CA 92881, United States
I decided to walk-in to this place for lunch because I was nearby and it had a good rating. I got a 2-item combo. I was eating through the BBQ pork and I was almost done when suddenly I got a rotten taste in my mouth and had to spit it out. I had torn outside with my drink to gargle and spit out the taste in my mouth. It almost tasted like tasting a 9v battery. I told the people in the restaurant and a gentleman kept eating the BBQ pork with a toothpick from behind the counter and speaking in Chinese to the other 2 ladies who work there. He kept saying it was good. He came to my plate to even unravel the napkin where I spit out the food. They made me feel like I was doing it all on purpose and wanted to give me more food. I refused the offer and threw away over half the food I hadnt touched. I just couldnt eat anything else. The taste in my mouth is atrocious. Then they gave me back my money but not the extra I was charged for an ATM sale. I recommend no one eat here.
Kosuke ramen
4210 Inland Empire Blvd #D, Ontario, CA 91764, United States
I was excited to see Kosuke Ramen opening up in Ontario, right by the 10 Freeway close to Ontario Mills, but then I read my review for the Alhambra location and remembered feeling a little disappointed after my second visit. Its been several years since that last visit, and seeing all the positive feedback from the Inland Empire area (and the never ending lines at the Alhambra location), I decided to give them another try.Theyre still in their soft opening - although the banner states grand opening soft opening. I suppose theyre working out the kinks. This locations menu is a lot smaller and they dont serve curry or cold noodles; its primarily ramen with some appetizers.Service was not the best. Possibly the workers are fairly new, but it took awhile before we were seated after several workers saw that we were waiting in the doorway. We also had to flag someone to help us take our order after sitting at the table for quite some time. Im also not a fan of their credit card check-out system. They use a portable credit card machine where the worker stands next to you to process the card - you have to complete the tip option with someone looking over your shoulder, which obviously provides a little bit of pressure. Tip option starts at 15% and if you want to input your own amount, its a bit of a hassle. I wanted to calculate the amount myself, but wasnt given the option.Popcorn chicken appetizer - it wasnt bad, and the price is very affordable for $4.95. They offer popcorn chicken as a meat option to ramen, which is different but if youre going to go with the chicken, Id suggest getting it on the side so it doesnt get soggy. We went with a mild spiciness to the chicken, which was pretty spicy. Chicken pieces actually are whole bits of chicken with not too much batter, but the chicken was a little dry in my opinion. My friend enjoyed this though, so I think its a matter of preference.I went with their Kuro Ramen for $9.95. Didnt want to order the same ramen as my friend and wasnt sure if my stomach could handle the fish flavor soup of the tonkotsu shoyu, so this was the best choice. Ive had black sesame oil ramen broth before, and this one was on the lighter side. Came with half an egg, black mushrooms, green onion, ginger, and chashu. Noodles were the yellow ramen, which I dont usually prefer but they were chewy tasted alright. Broth was a miss though. After mixing in the black sesame, felt like the flavor was just so salty. There wasnt any sweetness from the tonkotsu that I craved. Chashu was alright - sliced thinly and didnt taste as great as other more authentic ramen shops. I also got a side of the spicy bamboo for $0.75 - it wasnt spicy at all and added a different flavor to the ramen, which I enjoyed. I do think that the bamboo came from a can though. My friend ordered the Tonkotsu ramen for $9.25 - pretty much the same ingredients as the Kuro except theres no black sesame oil. We both really liked the broth - it was really sweet and flavorful, definitely one of the better parts of the meal that night; however, my friend was not impressed with the chashu - he said there wasnt a clean flavoring to the meat and needed to be cooked a little more. The meat wasnt as rich and tender as other ramen places we enjoy, and seemed to taste more like the Chinese BBQ pork meats - dry and without flavor. Unfortunately he had a hard time downing the bowl of ramen.tl;dr - I hope they expand to offer curry dishes. The ramen was just okay for me (and a miss for my friend). Pricewise though, the dishes are very affordable and you can also add specific items to your ramen for a cheaper price, which I think is pretty great. Dont think Ill be returning anytime soon.
BoxLunch

Its a nice store, but it severely lacked customer service skills. The worker who helped me was eh, pretty subpar for a very basic transaction in terms of assistance and speed. I was just there to pick up an item that I bought online. When I first stepped up to the register, no one helped me when there were three people at the register (two facing the register and one standing behind the register). They were just there talking amongst each other for a long period of time. And I was RIGHT at the register by the way. I waited there for about 10 to 15 minutes before I was helped by a worker standing behind the register. And even then, the workers during my visit were not acting professionally. Theyre flirting and teasing each other in front of a customer. What should have been a max 10 minute transaction, turned into a 20 to 30 minute transaction.
The Original Grazianos Pizza Restaurant
3060 S Archibald Ave, Ontario, CA 91761, United States
We went on Mothers Day with a large party. Its a great place to bring kids and let them play games while the adults get a break. The kids play broken machines that do not dispense the correct tickets. I quickly reported this to the cashier and she inspected the machine in question. She took 15 mins to help other people while we wait at the toy/ticket counter waiting for a verdict. She came back and told me the machine is working. Basically said Im out. I didnt wish to pursue anymore so I waited for my meal to come and this is what happened. I ordered a medium canzone and a drink for 22 dollars. My number gets called 20 mins later. I take a bite and its cold in the middle. I take back to get reheated and or complete the cooking process. I probably wont come back because its painfully slow and was not worth the wait even after the reheat. I was so disappointed. We spent over 65 dollars for 4 people to eat plus games for the kids.:- [
Hot pot mini workshop
929 N Milliken Ave Suite #107, Ontario, CA 91764, United States
Weve really been missing hot pot, especially with our go-to place still closed during the pandemic. Came across this small hot pot joint and decided to give it a try. And weve been coming back ever since. Theyre located in the Sams Club plaza by Baja Fresh and across from Holiday Cafe - no issues with parking as the lot is huge. With the new restrictions, currently theyre offering to-go only. But I visited back when outdoor dining was allowed. No tables are set outside, but if you pop your head in, the workers will get a table situated outside for you right away. Normally they would offer AYCE drinks with their happy hour hot pot pricing (2-5 PM on weekdays). But theyre currently offering a 24 oz drink where you can fill with as many toppings as youd like (with assistance from the worker). Everything is pretty COVID-safe - masks inside at all times. The workers will help you fill up drinks with toppings/tea and bring it out to you, etc.The first time that we visited, they served the hot pots in the to-go containers. Wasnt a great hot pot experience, but we both were craving Taiwanese hot pot. And the bowls came with AYCE rice. But they now give the hot pots in the classic woks with the fire underneath. Since the weather has been cooler lately, eating the hot pot with the soup bubbling has definitely made us super happy.Ive tried the beef, picked mustard greens pot with lamb (substituted lamb for another meat), and the sukiyaki (each $12.99). Flavors are all on point with a ton of various ingredients. My favorite for now is the sukiyaki - soup is on the sweeter side, comes with a soft boiled egg, has udon - super tasty to eat with their soft white rice.If youre wanting a bolder, stronger flavor, Id recommend the beef. You cant go wrong with the classic beef and theres fish balls, meat ball, corn, etc. I also really liked the pickled mustard greens - not a fan of lamb, so I usually substitute for beef or pork. But the flavor of the soup is more mild than beef while the pickled mustard gives some acidity to the overall meal. There have been some times where the meat was already quite dry when coming out of the kitchen, but everything else is so great that we werent even bothered. They do usually throw in a piece of pork blood, but we usually ask that to be substituted with something else. And what makes the meal more awesome is that every pot comes with a 24 oz drink. Prior to COVID, you were probably able to mix and match teas, etc. But now, they let you try samples before you decide on which tea youd want. Selections include osmanthus oolong, jasmine green milk, wintermelon, mango green tea, oolong milk, passion fruit green tea, honey green tea, almond milk, and milk tea. Theres also some pineapple and strawberry mango juice if you want a dairy free option. And as for toppings - go crazy! Aloe, jellies (coffee, lychee, passion fruit, etc.), grass jelly, egg pudding, almond tofu, rainbow jelly, popping boba, regular boba - possibilities are endless. Ive seen some people request a ton of toppings and have barely enough room for tea in the to-go orders.Teas are a little on the sweeter side, so Id recommend some ice. Usually were so stuffed from the hot pot that we save the tea for later - a nice treat to have when youre craving something sweet to drink. Jasmine green milk tea is my go-to, but the almond milk and mango green tea arent too bad either. Not sure if this is a family establishment, but the workers are all super friendly and helpful. They definitely go out of their way to make sure the customers have a good experience eating the food. Really hoping that this business makes it through these times. They offer take-out and delivery as well if youre in the surrounding area.tl;dr - A new hot pot favorite for us in the Ontario area. Prices are decent and you get AYCE rice, a free drink, etc. Whats not to love?
