My wife went with her sister and mom about weeks ago. She brought home garlic noodles and garlic noodles with steak. I was too full when she got home so later in the day I tried the steak with garlic noodles...WOW it was good. So I couldnt wait till we got food from there. Today...06-11-2022 after my nephews graduation, my wife and my kids drove there (only about 5 miles compared to 12-ish miles if driving from home). We got 2 orders of garlic fries, 2 orders of garlic noodles with steak, 1 order of garlic noodles and 2 plain sliders.They gave us some sauces. The brownish was good with the garlic noodles with steak. The greenish not sure did not use it..sort of a little spicy with a sweet taste (Wasabi with mayo?) Also gave us ranch dressing (for garlic fries?) And Sriracha packages and tomato ketchup.**the 2 plain sliders (no onions no mushrooms)...I asked for cheese (they dont have cheese). Well my picky daughter (19 yr.old) didnt like they sprinkled green stuff and then it had a white looking sauce (looks like mayo).But over all. ALL the food was great...coma effect...especially since by the time I write this its 11:47 pm. Oh...fyi...they are open till 1 am...By the time I wrote this..my son and I were done with the garlic+steak noodles and my wife was done with the garlic noodles..so maybe next time Ill take a picture of that.

Another stop in my California review trip, and I stumbled on this Chinese food spot, and what a treat!I had the 2 items half and half on the rice and chow mein, we tried the orange chicken and spicy orange chicken and an egg roll to try.Everything was on point, fresh and delicious. The orange chicken was one of my favorites of the many Ive tried, and the spicy was good to but not as fresh as the newly brought out regular orange chicken but was still good and something you dont see often.Overall, I definitely recommend giving them a shot. Keep in mind there was only one table, so plan on getting it to go.At 10 dollars for the plate, I have 0 complaints and will return for more.

I have an 87 cutlass supreme, my music keep going out ..They trouble shot it & found the problem after 3 hours I was very satisfied customer they were very helpful & the installer hooked up my wiring that i did so it wont look like noodles in the back of my trunk..I have a 64ss impala thats coming out the shop soon & going STRAIT DJ CUSTOM AUDIO so they can do my hole car ..& EVERY ONE FROM LONGBEACH BADBOYZ CC...ASWELL JUST KEEPING IT 100

This was our first time coming to this restaurant. Its a small rest. but the staff are very friendly and knows their regular clients. A true mom and pops shop. The food was good. We got:orange chicken- serving is a big amount (a full dinner plate)thick noodle with chicken,mongolian beef (spicy sauce on the side) that came with steamed rice.Their sodas are can sodas; got 3.For all we paid 35?It is not like a regular Chinese restaurant where you choose your items through the glass.

So here is the thing about Joy Wok, you either love them - or you love them!They have been around since the early 90s when they were located behind El Farallon in Lynwood - next to a liquor in that huge shopping center (thats now a school) on MLK Jr. Blvd.Then they moved to a random place in South Gate. Then they moved again to where they are located currently!As a lifelong fan I must say this is the best chinese food spot there is and you will find. Their food is best when fresh but even when it isnt its just so tasty.The original cooks from way back when it seems are not here anymore but it seems it may have been a family business and recipes because the food still tastes the same. Other chinese food spots have cold chinese food, bad after taste, dry sometimes, you can tell its old - not JOY WOK! Trust me. Try them and you will not be dissappointed.I recommend a combo with two sides: Half Chow Mein, Half Fried Rice - black pepper chicken and orange chicken.Oh and if your feeling fat like me!? Add a Mongolian Beef (it takes about 10 more minutes for this order but its worth it cause they make it fresh!)They close Sundays but try them out any other day of the week. Trust me. This is not your mediocre moms and pops chinese food spot. Its delicious oh and you can also order their food for parties!

This was about to be a one-star review, until Noemi stepped in. I had placed my order at 3:30 PM for a 6:15 PM pick-up as I am a student and am on a strict schedule on Thursdays. I arrived at the soup shop around 6:30 PM after receiving the notification from Yelp stating my order was ready. When I arrived, I was told my order wasnt ready yet. I waited 10 minutes and was told by another employee it got lost in the system and had to be made, and that it would be another 25 minutes. I had asked to speak to a manager and was directed to the lead Noemi. After telling her what happened, she quickly turned everything around with her amazing customer service! She sympathized with me, apologized for the wait, and more importantly, made me feel like she actually cared about my issue. I came to understand her side as the restaurant was completely understaffed and working as hard as they could. One thing Noemi said to me in our conversation was that she had to have her employees back. In having that kind of dedication to her team while maintaining top notch customer service by disarming the situation, Soup Shop has earned 5 stars from me. Of course the food is super good, but the level of customer service shown by Noemi will keep me coming back for more.

Really great place! The customer service was good. They took an adequate amount of time to make the food, but best if you order ahead. They also have the FiveStars loyalty program that uses a phone number for points. Loved the crab meat fried rice, really delicious. The curly fries are alright, too thin to enjoy them. The seafood fried rice was pretty good too, but only had one shrimp and a lot of bean sprouts. They made a mistake with my drink order so double check everything before you leave. The Thai Tea was delicious, one of the best Ive had. The matcha milk tea was alright, wouldnt recommend it (and Ive tried dozens). The boba was also alright, average if anything. Overall its a really good place with some great dishes. Would come here again.

We love Ono because it's easy to grab lunch for our staff as we are neighbors. Food is always great and we probably get takeout 2 to 3 times a week from you guys and we spend about a $100 each time. Service has been good not great, but this time the young lady helping us went a little over board. Now, our order was for 6 people and we asked for hot sauce she gave us a handful and we did asked for a bit more and she handed some more. When we asked for a little bag for our teriyaki sauce she make an, “ummmmmm” sound as if we had inconvenienced her in some way. I know sauces are complementary, but we did order about $100 worth of food. I hope this is not something that is permitted to happen because we want to continue to get food from you guys.

Dont bother coming here. Went in to get some food. Once it was time to pay I would normally scan my phone to pay. This time the girl asked for my phone and I headed it over. She dropped my phone on the table. When I noticed the damage she denied it and even called some guy over and his response was Thats nothingIt doesnt matter if the damage was small. Its my property. They couldve at least apologized to me or offered to pay for the damage but they didnt. All they did was laugh at me.I even told them that their cameras caught everything and they didnt care. I wont be surprised if they delete the proof. I did see them going in and out of an office.
