Pho Sure
23876 Copper Hill Dr, Valencia, CA 91354, United States
This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend that I trust, especially since she owns a successful Chinese restaurant. My wife and I went to the Pho Sure on 7 Nov 16 at approximately 7 PM. They were busy, and we were the only guests waiting to be seated. We waited about 5 minutes (reasonable), to be greeted, and we were directed to be seated right next to the door. Being that I just left Providence Urgent Care due to Asthma issues, I asked if we could please be seated away from the door. Again there was no one waiting behind us. No attempt was made to clear the two available tables away from the door. Another 5 minutes passed and we were again directed to be seated in the same table by the door. This time we politely clarified that we'd like to be seated away from the door. The person coordinating the front desk said there are people waiting for those tables. At this point there were two other guests waiting to be seated that arrived after us. Both of them were Asian heritage. They proceeded to seat them, and we bowed out of the vowing never to return. I called back to voice my displeasure, and they could care less. I told him it's unfortunate that the impression I received was that we waited for 10 minutes with no one behind us, and then prioritized seating arrangements based on what we perceived as bias. Shameful. Furthermore, they tried to explain that one table was a table for 3 or 4 and the other table was for 2. They were the same size, and had the same amount of seats. I can't comment on the food, and I hear great things about the food. It's just too bad that their outright bias shamed their business.

This ramen shop is located at the streets of San Francisco, and the atmosphere looks clean and modern. It is a small place and even the menu has limited options, but the food here is spectacular and delicious. I also heard that it’s recently opened. The staff are very friendly especially when answering recommendations since we have no idea what we want to order. I really love the food here especially the Karaage, which looks different and bigger. Tori Paitan look like hot latte, which is mine. Tsukemen soup includes ingredients that you have to put inside the soup. Its noodles are fine though and quite chewy. Tofu tastes soft and crispy at the same time and I don’t know what that fried stuff is but it looks like fries.Anyways, nice restaurant to go to!

Cute little shop that serves vietnamese and taiwanese food. The fried chicken was very juicy and the plum sauce was really good. The pho wasn’t the most authentic but was satisfying on a cold day. We also got the garlic noodles which was a bit lacking in flavor. Everything is super homey and satisfied my cravings.
The Stand - American Classics Redefined

As a vegetarian, its great to have a new up-scale burger place in the Santa Clarita Valley that has plenty of options for me. I love a good Impossible Burger and Fries and my experiences at other The Stand locations set the bar for what I should expect at this one. Though so close to when they first opened it seems they might still be working on living up to their brand standards as there were a few quirks to this particular experience. Its a beautiful space with a cavernous feel, modern design, and plenty of seating both inside and out.Quirk one was being overcharged for the food. My wife and son both got a basic Stand Burger, add an Impossible Patty for both, a pretzel bun for one and lettuce wrap for the other. The math didnt quite add up when we saw the totals for the burgers and after some confusion trying to explain it, the person taking our order realized they did indeed charge us incorrectly which was fixed before we paid. So, hurrah! Growing pains...Everyone is new...theyll figure this out.We hope they also figure out when they wipe down a booth or chairs, that it shouldnt be left overly wet. When we went to an empty booth to sit it was wet to the point where we needed to ask them to come dry off the seats. :/The food also was not as good as wed wanted it to be (and which we know THEY want it to be based on our experiences at other locations.) All three of our Impossible burgers were overcooked. One thing we remember from the other locations is that they ask you if you want your burger (even the Impossible Patty) well done or medium. They didnt ask us and these were definitely over charred on the outside and overdone on the inside. The fries too, we got two orders, were also just slightly overdone making that a little bit of a bummer.I also tried their cucumber mint agua fresca which tasted a little bit watery. So that was everything we ordered and it all wasnt what we hoped for.Two of us really liked the free house-made chip samples they were giving, and their pickles rock too.We know what to expect from The Stand and well definitely go back in the future, but we think they need a little bit more time to settle in and get their staff up to speed to live up to the standards and experiences weve had at their other locations.Im rooting for you The Stand Valencia!
Scooters Jungle of Valencia

After attending many, many, MANY birthday parties over the last 3 years at Scooters Jungle, my daughter begged for her own party to be held here. We were already impressed with what we had seen during other parties, so we, of course, agreed to it. And we are SO glad we did! My daughters 7th birthday party was just tonight, and I was so impressed with the entire event that I had to hop on my computer as soon as we got home to sing the praises of Scooters Jungle. Everything is SO organized that the whole process, from booking the party all the way down to wrapping up the party at the end, is stress free. Every detail of the party is gone over with the party host several times throughout the process, and I loved it. I have a hard time letting go of control when it comes to something like this, but the staff at Scooters Jungle made it easy for me to hand over the reins on this one! Steven greeted us and got everyone signed in and ready to hit the party in the Ultimate Arena. I cant say enough about how pumped Steven got the kids, and he interacted with all of the party-goers, and made everyone feel very welcome. The kids LOVED him. I think he may have more energy than some of our little guests! He was all over the room, keeping the kids entertained. Bravo, Steven. You rock! Also, total unimportant side note, but he looks like Stephen Baldwin. I thought it was awesome. You might think so too. ;) After a fantastic time playing in the Ultimate Arena, and I say fantastic because I spent ALOT of time on the huge slide right alongside the 6 and 7 year olds, so I KNOW it was fan-freaking-tastic...we were ushered into the dining room to have pizza and cupcakes. Before the transition, again, everything was verified with me before our guests were let in. I loved this part because I took a lot of time making specific kitty-themed items to decorate the tables, etc and I wanted a say in what the room would look like. It was perfect! Dom took care of us in the dining room, and he is just as awesome as Steven. He interacted with our guests with ease, and made my daughter feel extra special. His service with the kids and their food and beverage wants/needs was ON POINT. And bless him for putting up with a few of our young guests sticking pink and purple frosting on him - SORRY, Dom! He took it like a champ though. In the end, the party was perfect. Totally worth the price, and stress of trying to get people to ACTUALLY RSVP. I can positively say that we will be holding another birthday party here soon, because now my 5 year old son wants his birthday party here in May. Overall, great experience and I HIGHLY recommend this as a venue for your next party. Im 32 and want my next birthday party here!

This review is for poor customer service and management. My partner and I sat down for lunch on a Saturday. After waiting 40 minutes, we were eventually told that their machine did not print our order. No big, these things happen, and it just sucked that I happened to have an 8-hour training immediately after. We were given the options of either canceling our order (no food at all) or waiting 10-minutes and taking the order for takeout (scarfing down the food in the car.)Having food is better than no food, so we waited. After 15 minutes, the food still was not ready. The bill came and we thought it was very fair to ask for a discount. The manager refused, blaming the machine and saying he cant just give discounts to anyone that asks.We left with no food and no apology. I went to a 12pm - 8pm training with no food and my partner had to spend additional time getting lunch elsewhere. This is a question for management: why should the customer have to pay for your mistake -- with our own time and energy? To the manager -- you are treating your business like a simple transaction for food. We dont just pay you for food, we pay you for timeliness and for the entire experience.Heres two examples of good customer service from two very similar experiences.1) We went to a SPiN, a ping pong bar, and made advanced reservations. They were running 30-minutes late, so they took responsibility and covered our table for free. 2) We went to a sushi restaurant and ordered sake. The waitress forgot about the sake until we were almost done for our meal so she gave us the sake for free. These two locations recognized the importance of timeliness and its impact on our experience, and the consequences of chain reactions on the customer when they dont deliver their product on time.In the end of the day, its not about money. We are not asking you for a discount because we want to save $10 dollars. Its because we want acknowledgment, an apology, a form of you taking responsibility for your mistake and the consequences it has.
Salt Creek Grille Valencia

Food was great, ambience was good, but service was subpar. My husband and I finally decided to try this place, and we both loved our portobello chicken and our desserts (crème brûlée and the triple chocolate brownie dish). But for the price one pays at this place, you would expect the service to be better than average. We were there on a Thursday night, and although there were more people than we expected, it was nowhere near as crowded as it would've been on a weekend night. It took several minutes for our server to initially greet us. When she asked for our drink and appetizer order, we said we're fine with water while my husband ordered a beer. No appetizers, but we placed our main course order. She asked if we would like bread, and we said yes.She never came back to our table after taking our order (which meant that our water glasses remained as empty as our table with no bread basket). When another server brought our plates and asked if there's anything else he can get for us, we asked for bread and for more water. While we were leisurely enjoying our meal, she checked in on us just once, and so we asked, once again, for more water (lemme tell you, those glasses were small and were filled more with ice than water). When we were done, she asked if she can take the plates, to which we said yes. She was about to walk away when I asked for the dessert menu. After we were done with our meal, she gave us the check….and even then, it took her yet another several minutes to retrieve it.As good as the food was, the mediocre service is what will deter us from choosing to dine here again. When the check for two people is over $100 and your server makes you feel like you're not worth her time and attention, we'll happily spend our money elsewhere.
Tokyo Sushi
27039 McBean Pkwy, Valencia, CA 91354, United States
One of the biggest challenges in moving to the area in Valencia coming from the west side of LA is the lack of choices of great quality restaurants in terms of food and service. I still used to drive to WLA / W Hollywood/ Santa Monica / BH area for my usual go to restaurants, specially more so when it comes to sushi! But, because I wanted to get to know the new neighborhood I am in, I have tried several sushi places, in vain. Then one day, while I was at the next door Pete's coffee, I saw a sign ( in a banner saying new management, TOKYO sushi, Grand Opening!) And so I did come and try with my son and my daughter-in-law. My gosh! I'm so happy I did! The service is amazing and everyone is very friendly, including the husband and wife owners!Such a great find for us! It's also a very quiet place where you can actually bring business partners for meetings and spacious enough if you wanted a private dinner party with no loud ridiculous music! It's actually very relaxing to go to this place unlike the other places I've checked out in Santa Clarita.Their fish is always fresh! Love ordering my always fresh toro sushi / sashimi here, along with their Santa Barbara fresh uni! And if I feel like super hungry, I like ordering their Bento boxes. But if I want to watch my diet, I can go for their poke bowl. They have great sashimi as well and lots of awesome choices of rolls, but they can custom make anything for you as well.I can't understand how this place is not as trending as all the other sushi places here in Santa Clarita that are so hyped up! This place serves great quality of fresh fish and the service is impeccable! And oh, they also have a loyalty points incentive that I just discovered also as well!Do yourself a favor… if you like good quality of food and awesome service with a nice, quiet unassuming ambiance, go and try Tokyo Sushi next to Peet's Coffee by the Homegoods shopping complex on McBean Parkway!Parking is ample and easy / plenty!

This restaurant was a bit of a drive from our hotel, but the food looked so delicious, we decided to give it a shot. After exiting our Uber, we walked up to the door & were greeted by the hostess. She informed us that there was an hour and forty-five minute wait for a table. Somewhat disappointed, we decided to take a walk. While passing by the back door, we noticed 2 seats opening up at the bar and quickly jumped in them. We were thrilled. After sitting down, the bartender asked how he could help us & we told him it was our first time there. He started making recommendations, which we happily went with. We ordered 3 appetizers and a pizza and it was plenty of food for the two of us. It wasnt just enough, though, it was also extremely delicious, all of it, especially the pizza. We ordered the Eggplant Caponatina, which was fresh and light, the Walnut bread, which had a really satisfying flavor, and we ordered the Dungeness Crab Arancini, which was good, but with the Aioli, made amazing. Next for the pizza, we explained that my girlfriend was mostly vegan, but we liked spicy foods. The gentleman recommended that we order an off-menu pizza with olives, Barrata & spicy marinara, said that lots of the employees order that combo & really like it. Thats exactly what we did. The pizza was definitely the star of the show, but also, a big shout out to the bartender for being friendly, helpful, and recommending an amazing pizza.
