Service was bad and food is average. When I walked in there, there were about six tables one big table about to leave. There was one server for all those table. There was a lady around to help somewhat, she seemed like the owner. The server offered me at booth and he was gonna wipe it down he never came back to wipe it down he started doing a bunch of other stuff for other tables. So I eventually sat myself and grabbed my own menu at a different table. Then he finally comes over and offers me something to drink I asked for water and I had my order ready I asked for a straw for my water he never came with that. I accidentally spilled my miso soup and he came back with a dirty rag to wipe my spill. I again had to ask for a straw he finally came back with it as he was wiping my table but forgot to give it to me so I had to get it from his hand. Then he said I'll bring out your salad and the salad never came. I ordered a lunch special with a Mexican roll which is just a California roll with spicy “crab” And a black garlic Ramen soup. I can't say bad things about the food It just didn't wow me. Finally he realized he never brought my salad and brought it right before I asked for my check it was Romain lettuce a citrus dressing and corn. Super weird to me, I didn't even touch that. I probably won't go back because the food wasn't worth the service maybe it was an off day but there weren't that many tables to where he couldn't finish a request from 1 customer without getting involved at other tables. My girlfriend and I came here after a long day of traveling. We visited in the middle of the rain storm that pummeled SoCal. They were still open, smiling and making great food. The menu was small but appeared packed with flavor. The server informed us that EVERYTHING was made in house at time of order and as such, it was best practice to order as it was shown on the menu. We ordered drinks, I had a Stout Beer and a Lemonade Cocktail which were both delicious. My GF had a strawberry lemonade. The drinks came quickly and the server checked in on us after a few minutes to make sure everything was to our liking. In terms of food, I ordered the Grilled Cheese strip with Tomato Bisque dip as a starter and she ordered a Mediterranean style salad. The dippers were a little over priced for what it was, however it was still delicious. For our main courses I got the Mac and Cheese with Chicken and she ordered a Turkey Club which came with house made chips (Pictured). Both of these were amazing and worth every penny. The food came quick and hot. The Mac was rich and creamy. The club was fresh and crunchy, but not so much that it hurts the roof of your mouth like a lot of places do with their toast. The chips were awesome. Again the waiter came by to check multiple times to ensure we were enjoying our meal.Out side of the food, the ambiance is great, the entire restaurant is lovely to look at. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and every staff member we had an interaction with was nothing but great. Awesome place, awesome experience.

I've passed by her several times and finally had a chance to give it a try and was not disappointed. The food was good and the price is more than reasonable. I had what is called the today special with salad, chicken teriyaki, 2 pieces cucumber roll, 4 pieces of California roll and I chose to have the shrimp tempura (there are options you can choose beside the shrimp tempura) and I wanted to try the sushi so I had a yellow tail roll. For a small place the service was quick and the people that work there are super friendly and helpful. I can't say that anything really stood out but have no complaints and will give it a try again as I'd like to try some of the other items.
Frontier Wok Too

Usually, whenever Im craving Chinese food, I go to Century Dragon. But after a while, I was ready for change and found many Redditors eagerly recommending Frontier Wok Too, Gourmet 88, and Joy Feast for good Chinese in Burbank. I went with Frontier.Portion sizes are very generous. Took only 15 minutes for all my 4 dishes. They were very accommodating to making my Pad Thai veggie-only. I found the food here to be significantly less greasy/oily than other Chinese and Thai places Ive tried in the past. I parked by the curb, went in and placed my order, and in 15 minutes, came in to grab my food out. It was hot and fresh and I could smell these facts from the shopper bag alone. One star off because I just was NOT expecting the price to be THAT high for everything I ordered. $51.30 plus $4 tax? i have never in my life paid so much for a single meal visit. Granted, Im well aware that shrimps cost dollars extra and Chinese food places are, in general, very expensive, but goodness gracious, this was a highly expensive visit for me for food that lasted me 3 days in total (both meals). Good quality Chinese, but the price is just too off-putting for me.I highly recommend the Pad Thai, Sweet and Sour Shrimp, and Fortune Cookies here. Yes, I count the fortune cookies here as a snack and they are the best ones Ive ever tried so far. Great end to a meal.
Wood Ranch
110 N 1st St, Burbank, CA 91502, United States
Just a Touch pricey for what youre getting on your plate, but for being a chain barbecue place, this sauce is boss.I think its no secret, or maybe it is, that their barbecue sauce is a good mix of Sweet Baby Rays (less kick & heat) and Kettlemans.I came in here on a busy Friday night. The vibe felt great, packed restaurant with mostly families and their kids. The bar area was mostly single guys in their 50s to 60s. No single ladies here, unfortunately, if you were expecting a singles bar. Lol.No no, by comparison, the ladies that were in here were paired up on dates. To change the subject, their bread was really good! Its got that fresh baked quality, with a nice garlic and parsley oil smothered all around. For dinner, I ordered the brisket and tri-tip. The brisket is fall off the bone tender, very melt in your mouth delectable... almost too soft. The tri-tip was also very tender. Both were drowned in barbecue sauce, so I never really got a taste of what the meat was like with just spices and herbs on it.Please specify that when ordering, if you want sauce on the side. Otherwise youll have the same experience I did, and never get a true sense of what the meat itself tasted like.I want to give this place five stars. I really do. But I feel like the $33 or so that I spent for a two item combo is just ridiculous when you look at the portion size.To the management here, either lower the price, or just give me more MEAT.I mean each piece of tri-tip and brisket was barely half to three quarters the size of like a small grocery russet potato. Seriously? The skin on fries were good, just on the brink of being soggy though. They were crisp, but something to do with maybe not being cooked at a high enough temperature to make them not bogged down with oil inside?I did get a lot of peanut coleslaw though. They definitely packed that sucker in there really good into a leaf of red cabbage. No skimping on the cabbage. But when you look at the big picture, I came in here for the barbecue, MEAT, not for the foliage.Parking is fairly easy in the structure on the other side of the street, depending on what time of day you park, specific day of the week, EtcOh, one other note about the bar I feel needs to be said. This is a straight up American Standard bar. Coors, Budweiser, you get the idea. Their liquor and liqueur section is kind of skimpy.Lots of wine varieties though. A $#!t ton of wine selection. What Im trying to get at is even though this is a chain barbecue restaurant, it would be nice if they spruced up the bar a bit with some variety. You know maybe take a leap, and carry some of the Italian Aperitivo so you can make a black manhattan, or a paper airplane.Hopefully upper level management takes notice across the entire chain, and makes some changes to the bar & prices (or at least portion sizes) accordingly. For the price to quantity of food value, and the lack of variety at the bar, come on five stars! Im rooting for you.Ill make an unannounced visit sometime during the summer. Lets see if things change.
Western Wok

Food is horrible and the worst service ever! They dont even put napkins or utensils to go! Worst restaurant Ive ever been to! The 17. Spicy Thai Seafood Soup tasted like leftover overcooked vegetables! It tasted and looked like leftovers (look at pictures)! Vegetables and broccoli where old, soggy and overcooked & there was literally no Seafood in the so called spicy Thai seafood soup, the only seafood is that little piece of fish u see in the picture and imitation crab! Before trying the food, I asked if I could get some extra spicy sauce, since they only gave me 2 tiny sauces for the 4 large plates I ordered for takeout. The server said she could only give me one tiny spicy sauce per plate, and that she would charge me $2.00 dollars for an extra 4 sauces. See picture attached of the size of the tiny spicy sauce and that is even only half full. So then I said to the server that I wanted to dine in my food at the restaurant, and she said I would have to pay for service. What, pay for service? I paid for the food, isnt that the restaurants service? Horrible service! I cant believe they cant give a customer some extra spicy sauce or worst, I cant believe they wanted to charge me to dine in e eh I had already paid for my food. This server has been very mean in the past when I have come to dine in. doesnt care to treat customers with respect and not only does she looks like shes mad at work but treats customers as shes being forced to work as a server. I will no longer come here anymore and will write about the horrible service I have received on my Website and YouTube channel with 300k subscribers. Will also share my experience onMy social media, family and friends.Change the server! She is Asian, has black hair and wears blue/gray contacts!Oh and they dont even put napkins or utensils to go! Worst restaurant Ive ever been to!

I wasnt going to share my experience but after your corporate offices failed to take full responsibility for my traumatic, emotional and embracing experience and compensate me for my damages I think people need to know! If youre black especially a woman & plan on shopping at this store you read to keep reading. On Oct 11th me and my coworker who both are black women were racially profiled by your store employee who then called the police on us based fitting the description of a passed shoplifter from weeks ago?! I couldnt believe what was happening especially after I spent 120.00 worth of groceries in your store! That doesnt even make logical sense. Then to walk out of your store to be surrounded by 3 Burbank SUV cop cars who harrassed, questioned, detained and ran out i.ds. Like we were criminals. I was so scared and frightened for my life. I didnt if I was going to be shot & killed or even falsely arrested. Because nowadays black people get harassed &killed for no reason by police in this similar situation. After we were questioned like a criminals I asked the Burbank police officers why they were harassing us they said it was your employee. This was the 2nd time for my coworker (who is also a Black woman) who experienced this with. She & another Black woman was stopped on a different day while walking in the shopping center of your store and was held there by the Burbank police until one of your employees drove up and told the officers no thats not them . Its obvious that your employee is racist people who is racially profile Black women and are calling the police on any Black woman who shops at your store or even in its vicinity. I gave your corporate offices an opportunity to right this wrong because my family &I spent alot of money in your stores over more than 20 years but instead your corporate offices blamed the Burbank police department. Realy?!! They would have never came if your employee didnt call them on us without probable cause. This is the thanks I get for being a loyal customer and paying for my groceries. Corporate did apologize and wanted to reimburse me for my groceries but I refused because the stress embarrassment, being frightened for my life is more damaging than $120. Pavillions you should be ashamed and outraged for having employees who racially profile its customers who shop there on a regular basis. I will no longer be shopping at this store and suggest you guys dont as well.
Season Thai Cuisine
166 E Orange Grove Ave, Burbank, CA 91502, United States
My husband and I visited this place over the weekend. We tried a couple of dishes. To start with, the pad thai chicken with shrimp was awful and we did not have any bite at all.We then ordered the chicken thai bbq (since we won't eat the pad thai). That did not impress as well as the chicken tasted like pork. When we ordered this entrée half way through our seating, the waiter simply asked if we don't want the pad thai dish anymore (it was full and we had no intentions of having any bite). We said that it tasted so bad and we will not eat it. The waiter simply removed the plate and did not care about any customer satisfaction. When the check came, we saw that the pad thai was included, so we had to pay for a full size untouched pad thai dish.PS: we also had the mongolian beef which is not that great but was not that horrid as well, the amount of meat was hilarious as it felt it was a vegetarian dish.Awful taste and experience.
Century Dragon

This afternoon, I visited Century Dragon. It is almost New Year's Eve 2024 and I had not been here in a long while. This restaurant had been consistently good in the past though they are definitely westernized Chinese food. The menus we were handed had pieces of paper covering lunch and dinner specials. I am not sure if this was meant to be a holiday menu or if the menu is being revamped as the prices on all items were hand written. We ordered shrimp in lobster sauce and beef in black bean sauce. The items were served in elongated oval dishes to create the appearance hefty portion of food were being served when in fact the amounts in each plate were shallow and sparse. The shrimp in lobster sauce was generic in flavor. It was not awful but nonetheless mediocre. The beef on the other hand was subpar. Though the onions and mushrooms were good, the beef was not properly marinated so that it lacked flavor and was extremely chewy. The dishes cost $16.95 each which nowadays are not exorbitant but far too high for the amount and quality of food served. Clearly, the food lacks value and the quality and flavor don't justify the prices. I won't be returning.

Ive debated on whether on not to eat here for years. Normally when Im in the area, I choose to eat next door. But the day I visited I was craving california rolls, so I choose to order here. My mom decided to order next door. I ordered her food first since theres usually a 10-15 min wait for walk up orders. I was only going to order sushi rolls, which shouldnt take that long, right? To be fair, I went on a fairly busy day on the weekend. There are four options to order from here: walk up to the counter, order from the kiosks just inside the doors, phone orders, and food app deliveries. Since there was a long line, I decided to order from the kiosk. There were about five people in line ahead of me when I ordered. I paid for my order on the kiosk and waited outside, as instructed (for social distancing purposes). They have a outdoor announcing system (that you could hardly hear btw) where they call your name when your order is ready, and you are able to re-enter the establishment to pickup your order. So I waited. And waited. And waited. All the people ahead of me in line came and went. New people came in and ordered, and left. And I was waiting. After about 20 min, I thought this isnt right. I shouldnt be waiting this long for sushi rolls. So I went back in to make sure that they didnt forget to call me or some sort or explanation. I went in and checked with the lady working the counter whether I could have missed hearing my name. She abruptly said, well call you when your order is ready. Hmmm, okay that was a little rude. But again, they were busy and I was gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. Plus there was literally only one person making sushi, so I thought, okay maybe theres a big order.More people come in to order, more people leave with their order. I finally decided to stay inside just to make sure I didnt miss my name being called. More people coming and going. I asked her again, are you sure you havent called my name yet? And same restrained rudeness with a, well call you when your order is ready.Another 15 min passed. Still nothing. I was livid at this point. My mother had gotten her order next door and had already eaten and I still hadnt even heard a whiff of my order. Reminder: I got an order of california rolls and a spicy tempura roll. THATS IT. Not even a drink. I walked back in intending to just cancel my order and get my money back. She sees me come back in but still makes me wait in line behind the new people ordering their food. When I get to the counter, I asked if I could just cancel my order. She replies, we dont have an order for you. I was already angry and said that if they didnt have an order for me how could I have a receipt saying I paid almost an hour ago. She checks and checks. Still nothing. I dunno what finally made her check the kiosk orders, but she did. She got that look on her face that said, oh s#!7. And (surprise!) found the order I placed an hour ago.She couldnt apologize fast enough for brushing me off previously. If I hadnt been so hungry, I probably would have caused a scene. But I patiently waited and they placed my order (finally) ahead of the others waiting to make my order. Did I get a discount or something extra for having waited an hour? Nope. Not even an offer of a free drink for the inconvenience. It goes without saying that I will NEVER patronize this location again. Thanks but no thanks.
