Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

April 7, 2023:Have not visited in a few years due to poor service experience. My mom wanted to go here for her birthday. It does not seem the standards of cleanliness has changed much since my previous visit. There were two used cloth napkins on the floor next to our table when we were seated. The waiter seemed to start our service well, but we did not receive our drinks until after he took our order and brought our soups and salad. We asked for refills for ice tea as well. After finishing our soup and salad, we waited another 30 minutes before entree meals arrived. We also ordered some food to go. How horrible is the kitchen and or planning for our to go orders to arrive before we receive the food we ordered to eat at the restaurant. No dessert. I do not recommend coming here. It does not seem much has changed in the past few years.July 20, 2019:The restaurant seems to have lost cleanliness standards. We asked for a booster seat for our child. The one brought to us should have been cleaned before we were handed it. The seat had dried liquid and food all over it. We asked for a towel to clean it.The hostess who seated us and brought us the booster seat placed it on the table. It was very disgusting to look at... on the table. It took her about two minutes to bring us a dry napkin to clean it. Seriously. A dry napkin to clean it? You would think with three hostesses working the front, one of them could have cleaned the booster chairs. We ended up using the baby wipes we brought with us to clean it and hoped the rest of our experience would be more pleasant. The food presentation was not any better. Two of the dishes our table ordered were the same dish. Unfortunately the presentation was not the same - the meals were served on two different looking plates. One order had overcooked noodles. The other plate looked great. Food is always salty tasting - expected when you have a lot of cheese in the meals. Our waitress seemed like she did not want to be there as well. Maybe she had an off day or other things on her mind, but she did minimal speaking with us.
Omma Tofu House
1220 S Golden W Ave F, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
Update on 9/13/22First time ordering my food to go and thought the transaction couldn’t have been smoother. Ordered via phone, given an ETA of 15 mins and food was ready when I arrived. Not only was the food delicious, but it was packed really well and made it home nice and warm. I liked the banchan packs too. Four delicious sides to go with my jajangmien, beef tofu and kalbi. All really good and perfectly satisfied my cravings. They even followed instructions perfectly as my GF doesn’t like green onions and they were left off of both the kalbi and tofu soup.————Probably closer to 4.5 stars, but will round up for the great service and free tea. Food was good, really good especially for a food court, but had sit down restaurant prices so expected a little more.Kalbi ribs had great flavors, but were a bit chewy in parts. Not bad, in fact very good, but just a fact - 4 starsTofu soup was some of the best we’ve tried - 5 StarsCold noodles!had a great, but strong beef broth flavor. Not what I am used to, but good. 4.5 starsBanchan - very tasty seaweed salad, potato salad, fish cake, bean sprouts and Kim chi. Non of which my GF liked or can eat. 4 stars for me, 2 stars from her :)Service, free tea and water was 5 starsPrices were fair, but seemed high for a food court, so 4 stars from me there.Overall a great experience and someplace I want to go again. The location and casual seating allowed us to take our dog and explore a little while we waited.Pro tip - food is made to order so expect to wait at least 15-20 mins. Call ahead or explore the are while you wait. There are other restaurants, a watch repair shop, boba and other little shops in the court and in the shopping center to explore while you wait.

Great restaurant. Consistently excellent soups and pork rice. Wonderful owner and excellent waitresses. Just a joy to come here. Best soup place in Arcadia hands down.
Boiling Point
206 S 1st Ave, Arcadia, CA 91006, United States
Came here at 7:30pm and the wait was only 10 minutes. Staff was friendly. I requested to sit in the back of the restaurant instead of by the front door because it was cold - request accepted!Ordered beef hot pot and not spicy. Came out tasty! It was great for a cold night!Minor improvement on service as I requested to add more soup and fire for my hot pot. A waitress responded, but she walked towards another table to take ordered. I had to ask another waitress to help me. Not a deal breaker. Will come back again!
88 Beef Noodle
1045 S Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
I went to 88 Beef Noodle for lunch during a very cold and rainy day. I walked in and it was this tiny little restaurant with maybe five or six tables. There is one woman working there pretty much doing everything. She was the waitress, she was the cashier, she was the hostess, and she was the cook. I asked her what was the most popular thing on the menu and she said the house special beef noodle. I said okay Ill take that, and some spicy wontons please. It took about 10 minutes till the food came out. I tried the spicy wonton first so I can let the beef noodle soup cool down a bit. The spicy wontons were very good. I couldnt wait to dig into the beef noodle soup. It had lots of noodles and big chunks of beef and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back to this place for sure. The lady working there was extremely nice and very friendly. The service was good, the price was fair and the food was great.
California Pizza Kitchen at Santa Anita
Ste. 115-U, 400 S Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
I encourage any undercover food inspector and food critic to come and evaluate the service at this location. As a loyal CPK customer, I usually go to the Pasadena location but I was shopping at the Santa Anita mall and therefore thought I'd give this location a try, even though it was an overstimulating environment (busy Saturday nigh), for this #ActuallyAutistic.I decided to sit at the bar due to the long wait list. The bartender and entry host are the only reason I'm giving this review a one star (otherwise it would've been a zero). The management team (Tai & Brittany); including their favored staff who stood idle, ate in the cooking/service area, texted and huddled in the corner, while the other team members were non-stop servicing, are the reason I'm taking the time to write this review.I waited for approximately 15-minutes to get the attention of both management and idle staff, for a water refill. Brittany had the audacity to challenge my concern of her poor management and customer service (e.g., poor leadership - setting the example to the rest of the staff and patriarchal treatment - interacting with the gentleman sitting next to me, who came after me, while ignoring me), by invalidating my frustration of my food growing cold (inedible) as I waited for a water refill, by pointing out that I had the glass of wine I had ordered available, if I was truly thirsty. The management duo took no ownership of their unprofessionalism and were visibly annoyed by my feedback, assuming I wanted my food to be comped (which I declined). Instead I requested that management team “do better” at their job in the food service industry. Brittany's and Tai's response to my customer service request, was huddling in the corner with the idle workers and looking at my direction in laughter. As someone who works in a multidisciplinary team, I will definitely not be coming back here under this unqualified management crew. I simply wanted to enjoy my dinner while watching the Jaguars/Chargers NFL game; which unfortunately, didn't happen.

First time here at this soupy Korean joint. The first thing I immediately noticed was how attentive the waitress was. She was a lean Korea lady with a boisterous laughter. She made sure that we had our refill of our kimchi all the time and came around every now and showed us how to expertly dive into the food without making a mess. At the end of the night, I dropped a couple of coins and she actually bent down to pick them up. Talk about stellar service! She had me at hello. The food was above average. The kimchi was fresh and supple. The sauces were great. Not sure about the plastic box rice but maybe its just a phase. The soups were all good, especially #10 which I had not had in any other Korean soup restaurant. The selection is small with a lot of options crossed out, probably because of the pandemic, so I didnt mind that at all. Its been a while since the service of a staff at the restaurant made me want to write a review. I had actually imagined, during the meal, of returning again.

Kazu Mori
Inside H Mart, 1101 W Huntington Dr, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
Located inside H Mart grocery store, Kazu Nori is truly a hidden gem. They serve various types of katsu and curry katsu in generous portions at a very affordable price. Kazu Nori has quickly become one of my go to food spots and I find myself going there quite frequentlyFOOD:What I Ordered: Cheese Katsu, Curry PorkCheese Katsu: Seeing pictures of the cheese katsu on the menu, I knew I had to try it. Mozzarella cheese wrapped in a thin layer of pork katsu, what more could you want This dish is made for a true cheese lover as its probably 80% mozzarella cheese, so be prepared for a cheese overload if youre planning to try this dish!Curry Pork: I was really excited to try the Curry Pork. Curry katsu is one of my favorite comfort foods and this place definitely fulfilled my cravings! I love how they package the curry on the side so that the pork stays nice and crispy! The curry is super flavorful and the pork is juicy and crispy. The perfect combination. When I received my food I had no idea how big the portions would be, especially for the curry pork. The curry pork was packed full of delicious pork katsu. Each meal comes with cabbage salad, miso soup, and rice. Talk about making your moneys worthLOCATION:This location of place is so perfect because you could go to H-Mart, place your order at Kazu Nori, do a bit of grocery shopping/ just explore the market, and come back to pick up your food once its done! XIANG JI
411 E Huntington Dr #101D, Arcadia, CA 91006, United States
The broth for this place is fantastic. At other restaurants I usually leave leftover broth because the noodles or beef are simply tastier but I left none at this place. The broth for premium beef noodle soup was special.
