Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
19724 Nordhoff Pl, Chatsworth, CA 91311, United States
For the most part of my dining experiences I tend to stray away from chain restaurants instead opting for smaller mom and type spots. However for dinner tonight my wife was craving Olive Garden. I think for a lot of people the Olive Garden represents something familiar and there for comforting. Everyone knows about the endless bread sticks and soups. So tonight that's where we opted to go.Our server Stephanie Q was incredibly warm and welcoming. She had an understanding about the overall great of cheese and a cheerful demeanor. She added so much to our experience just by being our server. We started with the fried Calamari. It was great, perfectly fried with a bit of a crunch. For our soups we went with our usual creamy chicken gnocchi with lots of cheese!!My wife went with the eggplant Parmesan and swapped out her spaghetti for gluten free rigatoni and creamy mushroom sauce. They both had a great flavor and I am actually thinking I might try the creamy mushroom sauce later.I went with the spaghetti with meat sauce and I added sausage. My only complaint would be that I forgot the sausage comes in links, I would have preferred it chopped and tossed with the pasta itself.Other than that everything was great and we finished our evening off with a strawberry ricotta cheesecake. It was the perfect ending to our meal.

Very nice, clean and well-maintained restaurant. You can make your salad, or wrap, and get soup with brad. The best part, you have huge options to choose from. Fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, different flavor tortillas and dressing.Good customer service under friendly and professional management.

This is the first time Im ever leaving a review. This place was amazing. Hole in the wall, cozy atmosphere. Real plates and glass. And the food... the food was so good that everyone, including my 3 young children, ordered extra sushi and soup. This place is what a restaurant is supposed to be in every way.

Teriyaki Plus

The freshness of ingredients seems to be an important policy of this store.Making the sauce delicious is important and requires skill. But choosing fresh ingredients is a matter of heart and pride in one's work.It is a sign of respect to the guest.Operating in the same place and serving the same food for nearly 20 years meansIt is not easy without that kind of heart and stubbornness. If you add skill and experience to that mindset, even the simplest food can beYou can see the power, and you can get that feeling from the taste of the grilled food.Because skewered food takes a considerable amount of time to cook, it is usually steamed or boiled once before being cooked. You just pretend to bake, but the sincerity with which you cook it is clearly conveyed to the food. Compared to other restaurants armed with chemistry and all the benefits of civilization,It is a restaurant that is appreciated for its purity and yet excellent taste. However, I think it would be okay if the table and chairs were a little more sophisticated...

Thai Valley Restaurant
21032 Devonshire St #107, Chatsworth, CA 91311, United States
This restaurant is overrated. The food isn't bad, but it isn't authentic, fresh, or high quality. My girlfriend is Thai and I've been to Thailand, so I know what to expect. The pad see ew had a heavy coating of pepper flakes and had regular broccoli. The pepper flakes were the super mild ones you get from a typical grocery store and not spicy Thai peppers and the quantity on there was obscene. One piece of broccoli was actually cold, suggesting it was previously frozen. This should be made with Chinese broccoli to be authentic and not standard broccoli. The tom yum soup tasted like it was from a mix. The spices were dull and not aromatic. The roti dessert was not crispy and did not have the delicate flakes and layers we expect.

Especially for the area, this is a great choice for authentic Southeast Asian food. The restaurant is Laotian but youll definitely notice similarities to Thai food as well as other surrounding areas. We had the larb and the most popular Laotian soup and they were both pretty enjoyable. The flavor of the soup was a little bit on the mild side and I love the pieces of fried pork belly, but overall, the larb with the ground beef was even better. Try both!

Enjoy Ramen and Poke Bowls
17815 Chatsworth St # C, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States
Good food, bad experience. Came to this place, on food truck night. Three of us ordered food but one of us had a small snack size food from a Korean truck. I bought a build your own poke, a ramen and a pork belly with a side of rice. We asked for permission if we can have the outside food in. The cashier had let us eat it but we have to throw the trash out. We saw the sign which we missed initially. Anyway, my son was already eating halfway of his food when suddenly we noticed the cashier and an old guy at the back arguing. Then the guy told us no outside food and he pointed out the sign rudely. We complied to his rude request because we dont want them to mess with our food, but I was pissed. Poke and the ramen were good(maybe I was hungry). As we were finishing our purchased meal, there was a white couple that left before us and the staff said thank you to them. As we were going to leave, the staff and the guy never bothered to say thank you to us. They were Koreans and were Filipino and Thai. Remind you that there were no confrontation or arguments. We just felt like its our obligation to eat there. I can go to a better poke bowl place with cheaper price than to eat at an over priced poke bowl and be treated like a none paying customer.

Mutsumi Sushi
20957 Devonshire St, Chatsworth, CA 91311, United States
Matsumi Sushi. It USED to be my favorite sushi place in the world. Previously my favorite was Cho Cho San on Ventura and prior to that Ichiban Kan. I will never return to MATSUMI Sushi. I had been there countless times, have referred several persons and families to the place, and have spent thousands of dollars there. Just note: it took several incidents, not one, to make this decision.INCIDENT ONE: Ordered a custom roll. Chef told me he could not do it. Then, on the next visit, after they saw me as a repeat customer, they did it and continued to do it for me thereafter. This is consistent with the general unfriendly nature of the chefs.INCIDENT TWO: I ordered two custom rolls. The first one came out but second one did not. All the while, my guests were eating their food and I asked not one, two, or three, but four different times, for my second roll. Then, after my guests were done, I asked where it was and they said that they thought I only wanted one. Then, they took another fifteen minutes to make it. Then, they charged me full price unapologetically about anything.INCIDENT THREE: My guests and their children wanted to use wifi so their children can quietly play their games while the adults talk. MATSUMI advertises free wifi for its guests posting so conspicuously at the business. My friend was denied use of their wifi. I, my knowing that everyone knows that I am one of their best customers, asked their server if we could have the wifi password, and I was declined. I asked a second server, and was declined. I asked a third server to ask the owner if I could please be provided the wifi password. She reportedly asked the owner and I was declined with no explanation or apology and notwithstanding their promise to allow free wifi for their customers. My guests and I split the bill. He tipped them. I did not.INCIDENT FOUR: My wife and I went to the restaurant recently, and upon entrance, I was confronted by a waiter (not even the waiter of the evening) that said that because I did not tip the last time the owners did not want to serve us and when we started to leave he continued that this time that they will do so but they will expect a tip. I told him we are the customer and will not beg and it is up to them. We were taken to our table. I placed my order for two custom rolls. I said it three times, specifying it clearly, that we want two, and the ingredients. I received one of the two and it was wrong. I pointed it out and she returned after taking it back and said that they can provide me the ingredient on the side (of the handroll) and I said that it should be in the handroll made with it, but they refused to fix it but assured the second roll would be done right. I waited for the second one and waited. My wife had long finished her food. I inquired and inquired but told that they were busy. After a long wait, I asked for the bill, and was charged for both handrolls. I paid, and just because I am that kinda guy, I actually gave a tip. I will never return to this place. They have no appreciation for the customer, no integrity for their promises, no skill to get the orders correct, no customer service to fix errors, no willingness to be humble and to admit their mistake, and they are arrogant, charge despite their errors, and even confront if they do not get an adequate table tip. STAY AWAY. And, YES, Matsumi, YOU ARE RIGHT - YOU KNOW WHO I AM AND YES, I WROTE THIS. YOU ARE RUDE PEOPLE.
