Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
2485 Iron Point Rd, Folsom, CA 95630, United States
We have gone to Olive Garden for over 30 years and have always been pleased with the service and the food. Today was not a good day. Greeted and seated - good. She asked us if we wanted something to drink and we said ice water and she asked us if we wanted ice. She took our order which was salad and 1 soup. She brings the salad and 2 plated. No big deal, forgets husbands soup. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs. She asked me if I wanted sauce, doesnt it come with sauce automatically? She chose to bring us chicken meatballs. Yuck!. We did not ask for chicken. If she was confused, she should have questioned us for more specifics. She offered to get us the correct meatballs but asked if maybe it was too late. No! The bill was a challenge. Instead of just doing a new one, she added and then subtracted 5 of the 6 meatballs. Well at 2,19/meatball, yes I want you to credit me. All in all, Sunrise Olive Garden will be my restaurant of choice from now on.
Panera Bread
380 Palladio Pkwy Suite 301, Folsom, CA 95630, United States
My experience with Panera Palladio is the staff doesnt wash and cut away bad romaine lettuce I ordered a bread bowl of soup and they put in more sourdough bread and not a stick of butter for delivery. I also ordered coffee with almond milk for delivery and I got coffee with no almond milk so black coffee What is going on with Folsom? Roseville Panera is on point but you have not trained your staff in Folsom to be restaurant service people.
Noodles and Company
2770 E Bidwell St, Folsom, CA 95630, United States
Tldr; this place changed for the worse in just two years, DO NOT RECOMMEND, even for just a quick bite.My boyfriend and I used to come here pre-pandemic every now and then. I usually got their spicy Korean bowl even though it seemed this place specialized in more western pasta dishes. At the time, it wasnt my favorite Korean noodle bowl ever, but it was palatable and I could finish most of it. My boyfriend usually ordered the Japanese pan noodles. We came here finally, after a couple years, only to unfortunately discover this place has gone downhill, as we predicted. The way the food is made changed dramatically. The Korean bowl used to be more savory, a little of that umami factor most Korean noodle dishes have. The Japanese bowl tasted more nutty, American-fusion style. There also used to be real shiitake mushrooms in their Japanese noodle bowl. Now, they added ketchup or some sort of sweetener to the Korean noodle bowl, and it doesnt compliment any of the flavors at all. The Japanese bowl now has regular white mushrooms and tastes worse. We ordered pot stickers this time, and even the dipping sauce for the pot stickers changed for the worse. Like the Korean bowl, they added a sweetener that doesnt compliment chili or soy sauce. Wont come here or to this chain ever again, no matter how desperate we are.

We discovered this place while biking to river bend park. The restaurant is airy and clean, we got our food in no time. We usually getting Pho in Vietnamese restaurants but decided to try something new. We got a Grandma’s slow cooked chicken soup with noodles and soy sprouts. Second dish was a cold noodles with pork and shrimps and spices . Food was amazing and plenty, with aromatic spices but not hot or peppery. We had to share both dishes and got some home. Will be back for sure!

Burma Light
703 E Bidwell St, Folsom, CA 95630, United States
Excellent restaurant. Burmese food seems to be sort of reminiscent of some mix of Indian, Thai/SE Asia, and Chinese food. There are some curries, flavorful noodle and rice dishes, but with their own unique flavor profile that sets it apart from the above-mentioned cuisines. The palata with lamb curry was a great appetizer. We also tried Ohn-no-khao-swe soup, beef kebat, tofu with vegetables, crab fried rice and all were very good. Definitely a great place to check out some new flavors or when you want to change up things on take out night.
Doma Korean Restaurant
9521 Folsom Blvd A, Sacramento, CA 95827, United States
I wanted to share my unique experience: I came in at the end of my work day, with a slight asthmatic cough. I was dog tired and just wanted a hot soup to take home. I was afraid people would think I was sick, or judge me for not being able to eat spicy food. But I was instantly greeted and made to feel at home by their warm staff. This is actually my second visit, and they completely remembered all of my preferences from my first visit. They noticed my cough, and offered me mildly warm tea (they remembered I can’t do piping hot or cold) and remembered the side dishes I liked most, and even that I was vegetarian! I felt really bad but asked for something non spicy as to not irritate my throat, and their kind waitress immediately knew what to recommend and double checked how I’d like to customize my meal (she guessed everything right!). There was no judgement, and customer service was absolutely above and beyond.I definitely recommend this restaurant. Clean and calm ambiance, immediate individual attention, and warm friendly staff all around. AMAZING food (goes without saying!). Big appetizer, soup, meat, noodles, rice, drinks, etc selection. Not sure if I saw this wrong, but lunch specials are only $9.99..!? (You can’t get that price anywhere.. even fast food!) I also saw a few families enjoying their meals, including one family who was sitting outside with their dog. Pet-friendly bonus :)Stellar food + great service = ULTIMATE experience. Thank you, Doma, for taking care of me today.
AT Thai Kitchen
711 E Bidwell St Suite 5, Folsom, CA 95630, United States
Today I had the pleasure to try a new Thai Restaurant here in Folsom. This was a hidden gem of a place. The atmosphere is very cozy with a wonderful balance of colors. Now the star of the show was the food.We started off our meal with a wonderfully balanced soup called Tom Kha. This is a very savory and well-balanced soup featuring coconut, ginger, lemon grass with a touch of fish sauce to add just the right amount of saltiness that really elevated the soup. The mushrooms and chicken added just the right amount of body to the soup to really satisfy. Next my wife had the Thai basil beef, the beef was absolutely superb and was so tender. The vegtables were still crispy and the sauce was wonderful and not super spicy like I have had during my travels. I am sure you can have them make it more spicy if you wanted, personally I thought it was superbly balanced. My main course was the Chicken Pad Thai. They really did a great job here on this dish, the sauce had just the right kick of tamarind and the noodles were perfectly cooked so they still had body to them. The chicken was cooked just right and the bean sprouts were nice and crispy. Our dining experience was 5 stars all the way. They even gave my wife a Thai iced tea to go. If your in the Folsom area I highly recommend.
The Bistro
2575 Iron Point Rd, Folsom, CA 95630, United States
I ordered the grill cheese and tomato soup wich was delicious. The girl at the Bistro was very nice. However, got to my room, changed into my PJs, and realized that they did not give me a spoon. I call the front desk to see if they could bring one up, but she said that they would not, I would have to go down and get it.
