Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
6430 Redwood Dr, Rohnert Park, CA 94928, United States
Went yesterday at 4:30 with group of 6. Checked in with hostess n sat for 30 minutes in hostess area. Finally asked her if we could be seated. She said they were setting up table. MIND YOU THERE WERE MAYBE A TOTAL OF 6 OTHER PEOPLE SITTING DOWN IN THE WHOLE RESTAURANT! Finally escorted to our table where a half hour later one of us had to get up n run down a waitress to wait on us. We could see 3 or 4 wait people just talking together in the hall. Long wait to get water/bread, Finally salad arrived. Those of us who had soup/salad combination were finishing our second bowl of soup before others received their entree. Ended up being there 2 1/2 hours. The salad was very good....everything else I would not recommend. Wait staff is young n I do not blame them. They are learning but they have to have supervision n I blame whoever manages this place. Will never go back
Panera Bread
6305 Commerce Blvd, Rohnert Park, CA 94928, United States
I LOVE PANERA... always have. But this location is in need of some help if I am going to continue with my above statement. I know its hard to find good help in customer service roles today, but my experiences at this site make me believe neglect is the expectation. I have lived in the area for almost 1.5 years and was excited to continue to have my favorite restaurant close to home. Within this short time 7, yes, the lucky number 7 has been the number of missed opportunities experienced. 3 times an item has been missed (half a soup, a bagel, and half sandwich), 1 entire entree (mac n cheese). My husband determined to never eat at this location again, I spoke with the manager. Instead of an apology, or even offering reimbursement (not that we wanted it, we just want what we order), he simply said what is missing? As if its the usual, went in the back prepared it, and handed it over without another word. So we parted. Now, a few months later, and pregnant, Im craving some of my favorite foods from my once favorite restaurant. Hopeful we could move forward with time passed. Within 1 month, 3 more mix ups have occurred (a bowl of chicken broth presented when ordered chicken noodle soup. Literally just broth was poured in the bowl without chicken, noodles, or 1 veg), a half portion grilled cheese preswnted when ordered a full Chipotle chicken avocado melt, and a salad presented when soup was ordered. Panera corporate, please help this location. I love you as a healthier to-go option, but its clear this is an ongoing issue that concerns me to be systemic. Our orders arent large or complex, and just 2 people ordering 1 entree each. #verydisappointed

Carmens La Hacienda

Its one of the best Mexican restaurants Ive been to in a while. Sat at the bar, which seemed a little off. Should have sat at a table, we didnt get the attention we needed. However, the food well made up for it. Carne de rez soup is definitely the best Ive had in all of Sonoma County. Dont let the location discourage you its in a small plaza. It looks like its more of a fast food restaurant, but its a must try.
Sushiko

Small cute restaurant. As soon as we sat down miso soup was provided. Great selection of sushi, they serve ramen and other dinner entries. Will come back.
Prelude
1801 E Cotati Ave, Rohnert Park, CA 94928, United States
We ate here when Prelude first opened. Service was confused and slow, food was sub par. Tonight (two years later) was 1000% better. We liked it alot. Service was responsive, pleasant, efficient -- attentive without smothering. Food was also very good, if under-seasoned, in my opinion. My wife had the (under-dressed, but good) mixed lettuces with strawberries, and intriguing and quite nice pairing. Her entree was halibut, which was slightly overcooked but with nice looking grill marks. Her accompanying potatoes were very good. I started with a spring vegetable soup which was very good if somewhat under flavored. It was various spring vegetable pureed, so it had the look and mouth-feel of split pea soup, very velvety. It was dressed with a parsley leaf and swish of creme fresh -- very nice, if, again, somewhat under-seasoned. The flavors could have popped but did not. Still a pleasant starter. My entree was a rib eye steak. I asked for medium and got medium rare, not under cooked enough to send back but not what I asked for. The steak was also under seasoned. Perhaps this is purposeful, so patrons can add salt and/or pepper, but it shouldnt be (unless one is cooking in a hospital), in my opinion. The accompaniments were split fingerling potatoes nicely roasted or fried, and creamed spinach, good but again lacking much flavor, and a small serving of crab meat -- a nice plate of food that could be an extraordinary one wit more attention to seasoning. We skipped dessert but had coffee, which was very good. Well definitely return, because Prelude is approaching its potential as a first class restaurant, and well be hoping for continuing improvement in service and food. The influence of a former restauranteur with deep experience in the business is making a big difference in the quality of the Prelude eating experience. His charges should pay close attention.
Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches
5440 State Farm Dr, Rohnert Park, CA 94928, United States
The limited hours are a bummer as they only have a few stores and they are so good, I wish I could go on weekends. The bread is made fresh (love when your sandwich is warm from the freshly made bread) and they dont skimp on the ingredients. Its strange that they dont have bacon everyday they are open, but ask if they do when you order as its always a good upgrade. My favorite is the #20, no onions, bacon (if they have it) and the honey mustard. If any of my office mates suggest Michael Sourdough and we dont have any meetings prohibiting us from doing so, we head down from Santa Rosa to make it happen.
Azalo
5979 Commerce Blvd Ste 8, Rohnert Park, CA 94928, United States
That was the best dang thing Ive ever put in my mouth. My fiance agreed, that was seriously good food.Got the Calamari and Fried plantains for our starter, and holy cow, both were perfect! Ive had calamari and fried plantain from places all around the Bay, these are my favorite. Im looking forward to trying some of their other starters soon.Main course was the humble hot dog turned entirely extraordinary by the masterful chef! We got the hot dogs here; I got the Perro Cochino and Louisiana Hot link (had half each, VERY filling) while my fiance had the Ázalo dog.The dogs were cut down the center and done to perfection on the fire grill, with sweet white bread buns that pair beautifully to the meal.My meal was topped with their Caribbean-style pork which was SO juicy and tender yet NOT greasy! The other toppings of bacon, cheese, and chipotle sauce (I opted to remove the onions) were surprisingly very helpful in adding to the flavor profile. Ive never had a meal with three different meats blend well before, but this dish certainly did it! Next time, Im getting their Cochino Pibil because that pork was HEAVENLY.As for the hot link, a warning is in order; this bad boy is not for the faint of heart! I knew this going into it, and so customized mine to have some of the plantain and condensed milk drizzled on top, which cut the heat and added the sweet. Worth it.For desert, we shared a nice Churro and Ice cream dish. While I am glad we got it, I do admit I was eyeing the Tiramisu.Stop deciding on where to go: come here, order something that sounds good, and prepare to enjoy thoroughly.
Quick Sushi
449 Rohnert Park Expy, Rohnert Park, CA 94928, United States
Come here with $15-20 sometimes and really enjoy myself. Never too crowded, never too sad here. I really enjoy their food and feel it has gotten better as well as their service. Sometimes it's hard for them to crank out 10 orders and DoorDash but bro, it's two people 95% of the time.Anyways, hope this place does well. I enjoy it and for something quick I think it sets in really nice for where it's at right now. Hope they continue to improve! Accommodating staff, decent food, good vibes! ?
Honey Cuisine
1712 E Cotati Ave, Rohnert Park, CA 94928, United States
I love this place. I dont eat sushi but i do eat Korean BBQ and ghid place does a great job for not being a Korean only restaurant. The service is great and alwaya friendly. I dont really like how loud the music was but thats because i have a hard time hearing and it makes it difficult for me to hear other people at the table. Beaides that this place is great! The korean short ribs are killer almost as good as Simply Vietnam in Santa Rosa, i really enjoy the spicy pork as well. My finace tends to order the Bimbop Rock which is like a hot rice bowl with beef, fried egg, rice and veggies, really good, only criticism would be maybe add like a side of housin(spelling) sauce or cuz sometimes its a little dry and soy sauce doesnt do the trick. The kimchi is to die for! It usually comes with a something special from the chief, the other day it was pickled jalepones and just yesterday it radishs in a spicy chilli paste, absolutely amazing i ate two orders! If your like me and love Asian food but dont like fish this a good place to go to, lots of options. Give it a try and enjoy!
Amys Drive Thru
58 Golf Course Dr W, Rohnert Park, CA 94928, United States
ABSOLUTELY LOVE AMYS!!!From the giant live edge outdoor dining table that could easily host a gathering of 20, to the gorgeous botanic garden ambiance Amys has that northern California vibe that just feels good. The dining room and bathrooms are clean. The staff is super friendly! The packaging is eco friendly. The food is fast but quality and reasonably priced. This is fast food on a mission that you can genuinely feel good about suppoting.Whether you are a vegan or a group looking to satisfy the tastes of many individuals Amys has it for you! The menu is extremely broad but not overwhelming: salads, burgers and shakes, chili cheese fries, burritos, pizzas, specialty lemonades and kombucha! They even have a waffle and a cinnamon bun! Everyone can find something to satisfy at Amys.To top it all off your entire order can be VEGAN! And the really good yummy kind of vegan. Everything is always at minimum vegitarian but if you ask they can make anything vegan, and I totally recommend it. The vegan milk shake is made with coconut milk...trust me if you havent tried it you need to! The vegan burger and chili cheese fries are so good my kids like them more than In n Out- and if you knew my kids thats saying something! I am a salad lover and their super salad is as good as any $15 restaurant salad! The vegan Mac n cheese is better than the animal stuff and leaves you feeling less stuffed and sick. Overall great food...cant go wrong! Give it a try!
