Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
158 W Hillcrest Dr, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, United States
We use to be regular at olive garden at east coast, although olive garden never had authentic italian recipe we loved there bread sticks, salad and warm soups.we recently visited this place on regular weekday as it was my daughters birthday, after shopping its bit late than usual and our enter time was 9:00 pm, restaurant closes at 10:00 pm, fairly accepting that we are little late than expected still well before closing we placed the order for our usual favorites and bread sticks was already made light microwave which is not crispy rather chewy texture, salad served with no olives and very small portion although its 2 order salad, chicken gnocchi soup was cold and gnocchi was not heated through.my husband requested for warm bread sticks and server brought the sticks which was hot but overly oiled and burn from below side. eggplant Parmesan and pesto pasta was ok.server never asked us about dessert at all .
SoL SoupS Thousand Oaks
1772b E Avenida De Los Arboles, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362, United States
This review is long overdue.Ive been coming to Sole Soups for over a year now and I was not even a soup person before finding this place. This place is a gem. A hole in the wall. Everything is delicious, fresh, and healthy. Its an independently owned restaurant with amazing service. If you become a regular they will suggest to you other soups to try that fit your taste buds and there is is not a single soup Ive tried that I didnt like. The soups are not overly salted and they are seasoned perfectly, however, you can add salt to taste. They are not undersalted either. The owners really take time to make sure everything tastes amazing. One of the best parts? You can taste test any or all of their fresh daily soups to find one youd like to get that day. They have new and fresh soups daily that they post to their Instagram and they always have frozen soups that you can bring home to defrost and eat when ready. This hole in the wall has been amazing for working night shift because I just chose one from my freezer. Its fresh, healthy, and oh so good and easy! I dont have to worry about what to bring to work and I feel healthy eating all their soups. This place is also vegan friendly and has quite a selection of vegan soups on top of their non-vegan soups.Fresh soups (nonfrozen) are served with fresh focaccia bread, which is amazing dipped in the soups.Lastly, they also create some diversity in food as they also make Thai and Indian curries which are amazing be over rice. They also have some chillis! If youre thinking about finding a new place to eat or trying this place out, this is your sign.Sole Soups is amazing and so is their customer service!!Sincerely,A returning customer ?
California Pizza Kitchen at Lakes at Thousand Oaks

Our server was great. But the young man who was seating folks was giving everyone a five minute wait even though there were half of the tables available in the restaurant. After waiting seven minutes, I asked if I could just grab those menus and sit myself at the bar. Five minutes after that, he asked if I wanted to move to the booth I originally asked to sit in.I suggest the manager be clear about how to train the front host. The unnecessary wait plus the two moves (one by me after an unnecessary wait, and one by him-- which should have happened immediately) were quite unnecessary. Also they were quite behind on bussing and cleaning tables. Show maybe the manager wants to look at the training of the host and of the bussing staff.A great rule, as we all know, as a server:you never leave the table empty-handed.If you drop something off,you clear something off, and the busing happens as it goes.
Panera Bread
205 N Moorpark Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, United States
At Panera Bread you will taste delicious soups of cream of broccoli and chicken with noodles with the delicious bread made by the restaurant. It has a unique flavor, which are the two soups that we like, apart from a turkey sandwich accompanied by broccoli soup and a Very delicious teriyaki, a delicious place to visit if you are here in Los Angeles.
Urbane Cafe

I usually get the power veggie salad with chicken added here but decided to get a sandwich this time. The salads are nice and filling but a little lacking in chicken considering I pay extra for it.I expected I would get two full loaves of bread in my sandwich but its one loaf of bread cut in half to make a sandwich so their sandwiches are really half sandwiches. The bread is delicious and VERY filling. I think... the highlight of the meal. All in all pretty good for the price. However, I think I prefer the salads and add on extra bread - if you must have it. Its the more guiltless option. Again, I just wish theyd increased the protein portion, if you pay for it as an add on. At nearly $4 more to add on a protein, more than 2 ounces would be nice. Im not sure how much they put on it but, again, it seems lacking a bit.Love this place. Its a great healthy option, if you keep the bread consumption in check, but theres always that little voice in my head that says I hope get a little more chicken this time.

Imperial Garden Chinese Restaurant
355 E Avenida De Los Arboles, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, United States
Last night my husband asks me if I want Chinese food. My answer, Yuck, there are no restaurants nearby that I like. I decided to search T.O. instead of Simi. I was so happy to find Imperial Garden Chinese. Its in T.O. off Moorpark Rd and Avenida De Los Arboles in the Trader Joes lot. We ate vegetable Egg-foo-young, Hot and Sour Soup, fish and vegetables, and pork fried rice. Everything was so good. We will definitely order again.
Ox Bone Ramen
30869 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, Westlake Village, CA 91362, United States
As someone who has tried many ramen, I was attracted by the name and rating of this restaurant, unfortunately, it was a disappointment in many ways; you can tell that they used convenient ingredients as replacement. For example, chives instead of the green scallions, a lot cheaper and longer storage time. A typical Raman usually comes with eggs but you would have to pay extra for eggs here. We tried their signature dish, which is the ox bone soup, however the beef tasted sweet and artificial (I ordered the spicy one) like those pre-cooked pulled meat from supermarket, along with other strange things, carelessly thrown together. It was not ramen at all, but they used thin Italian spaghetti pasta.
Phils
3316 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362, United States
My first visit and it was for happy hour and Sat in the bar. Comfy area but next time would like to eat in the restaurant area. Service was great and bartender made delicious drinks. Strong but smooth. Tried the crispy brussel sprouts, tomato soup with grilled cheese and wedge salad to split with my vegetarian friend and they all were delicious. Brought home baked chicken for my husband and he loves it. Cant wait to go back.
Pokitomik
3679 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362, United States
I Love Sushi and Poke. I would also consider myself picky. I must say this was a wonderful experience. It was a flavor explosion of everything good with some added extras wrapped up in a handroll burrito, literally! The service was extraordinary. The gentleman was extremely warm and inviting, and being a first-timer he gave excellent recommendations. All of the food was fresh and tasted amazing. The portion was quite generous, with a great selection. The Boba was awesome and they have additional unique treats on their menu. Im not a resident of Thousand Oaks, however, when I go somewhere and receive all around great service by great people, I go out of my way to return. I am now a dedicated Pokitomik advocate and customer. If you love Poke, you too will become a dedicated customer guaranteed!
