California Pizza Kitchen at Valencia
24061 Newhall Ranch Rd, Valencia, CA 91354, United States
California Pizza Kitchen has a likeable diverse menu. Recently, I ordered the California Fields salad, it was loaded with strawberries, watermelon, greens and pistachios.I absolutely loved this salad! I did have to take half of it home for dinner. We have ordered from the lunch combo options. If you desire a lighter meal, I think you will like these selections. You will find pizza, sandwiches, soups, salads and pastas. For a bigger appetite, dont fret, there is plenty to choose from, including a burger, if you desire. I finally found a restaurant with lighter fare that I do not need a to-go box to take food home in. (My husband gets tired of cardboard, styrofoam and plastic containers filling our frig. because I do not want to waste restaurant-bought food). Besides the fact I like the portion options, the food was quite tasty. Our server was the best. She was friendly, on top of our drinks and absolutely made our meal even better. We will definitely return! Be sure to look at the additional seasonal menus on your table for even more choices.

Small family restaurant with friendly staff, I believe the gentleman that has been entertaining customers is the owner. He is very accommodating and warm with a sweet smile. I ordered oxtail stew and the meat has the flavor of home. Cooked slowly simmered with tomatoes and other spices of their own. The dish came with rice and fried banana and black bean soup. Everything was delicious and satisfied my craving for home food. My husband ordered beef stew cooked with delicious sauce and the potato cooked in the sauce. Very flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa
5921 Valencia Cir, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067, United States
Literally at their Christmas buffet right now, already asked them if I can bring my dog during reservation and she said yes they could sit me outside, thought I was all set. Somehow the arrangement was messed up and they could not find us a table outside when we showed up at our reservation time. So we were given some random table on a different level than where the restaurant is, just us sitting on a random table, no Christmas decorations, walked pretty far and had to go through multiple flights of staircases through puddles of water to get and bring back food, it felt dangerous, I did worry about slipping down the stairs with a plate of food multiple times. What is the point of making a reservation 1 week ahead of time and asking them if I can bring my dog during the reservation if none of these was being taken into account. And the whole point of getting Christmas buffet is so I could be surrounded by Christmas decorations and atmosphere, but I might just as well getting a togo box from that place and ate at my home instead, if I were just sitting at a random outside table that was not even part of the restaurant. At 130 pp, plus 18 bucks a drink, 380 total for two ppl, this place should get shut down so it does not ruin someone elses Christmas. I thought about going to the Park Aviara at first but choose this place instead because they told me I can bring my dog, my fault choosing to come here because I assume the pricier the better, my fault. Other than that, the servers are great people and those working at the carving station, soup station actually tried to take good care of you.

Taishoken San Francisco

This ramen shop is located at the streets of San Francisco, and the atmosphere looks clean and modern. It is a small place and even the menu has limited options, but the food here is spectacular and delicious. I also heard that it’s recently opened. The staff are very friendly especially when answering recommendations since we have no idea what we want to order. I really love the food here especially the Karaage, which looks different and bigger. Tori Paitan look like hot latte, which is mine. Tsukemen soup includes ingredients that you have to put inside the soup. Its noodles are fine though and quite chewy. Tofu tastes soft and crispy at the same time and I don’t know what that fried stuff is but it looks like fries.Anyways, nice restaurant to go to!

Meridian at Laguna Hills
24552 Paseo De Valencia, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, United States
I am an elite Yelp reviewer/ Google Reviewer and have been providing honest reviews for over nine years. This is a completely honest account of what I witnessed regarding my parents treatment at Meridian Assisted-Living. I would absolutely not recommend this facility to my worst enemy. In my experience, Meridian financially took advantage of my parents and our family during a state of crisis. My mom transitioned from skilled nursing next door at Villa Valencia (a facility I have much more respect for) to Meridian, and Tammy was our intake person. Initially, I liked Tammy and her personality; she helped “rush” us in with rapid signing of documents on an iPad, not explaining costs, levels of care charges, or really any charges to me. Could I have asked? Sure. But I was frazzled, to say the least, as my dad was being rushed to emergency spine surgery. No one told us about the $1900/month they were charging both my mom and dad for an extreme level of care. I did not find this out until over a month later when an employee asked me to casually sign a document and send it back. By this point, my mom was almost 100% independent (needing help with showering), yet she was ranked as if she were bedridden. This is when I found out about the $1900 after calling the business office. I was completely outraged that not only did we not know about these charges, but they would continue if left unchecked. My dad had rehabilitated and was acting independently, yet they were still charging him at “level 3.”In my opinion, Meridians bottom line is making money. Allegedly, I have heard that this pressure comes from corporate sources. After everything unraveled, I recall saying to Tammy that my parents had spent $15,000 in under two months, and her response was, “Yes, I don't know how people afford it.” Tamara, who I believe is a “care coordinator,” had the audacity to gossip about my mom to me, her daughter, without even meeting her. Her gossip included telling me that my mom was ordering Uber Eats all the time (which I found out to be untrue), refusing medications, and being verbally abusive to the staff. Anyone who knows my mom would find these allegations unbelievable.Once I started investigating and looking at charges more thoroughly, I found out they were being charged $200 for a laundry service, which included laundry once a week. Yet, an employee let it slip that laundry should be $100 for once a week and $200 for twice a week. I also noted on my mom's resident assessment that determined levels of care, they had assigned a bunch of points for “laundry service.” So, you're telling me that they charged a premium to do their laundry and then used that to their advantage to increase their level of care? Shocking, to say the least.I believe this facility to be toxic and to take advantage of the elderly. Please consider other options before entrusting the care of your loved ones to Meridian Assisted-Living.***As a RESPONSE to Meridian's response***The 2nd assessment was based on lies. Caregivers who were gossiping & resentful. The day before the assessment was given to me, my mom walked through a restaurant and out with a walker only. Why does this assessment indicate otherwise? Bottom line is more assistance more money.

Chic n Time
807 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94110, United States
Listen up my gorgeous glamazons! This queen has some piping hot tea to spill about a casual little eatery called Chic n Time that is going to completely gag you with how fabulous it is.I sashayed in there just expecting a basic little counter situation to grab a quick bite, but they read me for filth with the quality of their food offerings. Who knew this unassuming spot was hiding such fierce culinary talents, am I right? We started with these peppercorn chicken wings that instantly vogued their way into my heart. That crispy exterior was construction realness, while the inside was dripping in juicy, well-seasoned flavor with just the right amount of peppery zing. These wings have all the fancy places shook, trust. Then came the popcorn chicken which was practically a religious experience, ladies. Each delicate little morsel was swaddled in the most delicate yet crunchy shell that opened up to tender, savory chicken goodness inside. I literally could not stop devouring them - they were that divalicious! To help extinguish the fire, we gulped down one of their signature bubble teas and it was absolutely everythiiiiing. The creaminess and refreshing notes were living in such harmonious unity without being too sweet and desperate for attention. The balance? Perfection!Even though Chic n Time is giving very casual vibes with the counter setup, the food quality is truly top tier and ready for the runway. Theyre elevating grab-and-go to a whole other level up in there. And can we take a moment for the vibe? I live for these laidback, fuss-free hangouts where you can just strut in and get what you need without the pageantry and drama. Its ideal for when those snack attack cravings hit hard.Long story short, the food had me so gagged that a re-wife is already on the calendar to keep exploring their delectable Asian-inspired snack and drink selections. If you want casual but utterly fierce eats, Chic n Time is a definite must-visit! Mama has spoken, so you better listen!

Yogis Grill Teriyaki & Roll

Excellent service, the server at the register was really kind and welcoming and patient and attentive. We didnt have to wait too long. The food came out shortly after we sat down. The ratio between rice to the avocado and tuna was equivalent. It didnt feel like I was given too much rice. The quality of the spicy tuna tasted fresh. and the sauce complemented the bowl really well. Especially liked the lemon. Unfortunately the lemon was cut in a way that made it difficult to squeeze without getting my fingers mushed into the flesh of the lemon.Gyoza also was exactly what I hoped it would be. Light, crispy and meaty inside and great sauce. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood

The restaurant wasnt that busy when we arrived. But we were told they were too busy to fix or restocked the freestyle Coke machine. Also they asked if we wanted pickles with our sandwiches only to be told the were out. No soup either. Mustve been an off day. The Mgr had the soda problem resolved in a few min.
