Really wonderful Thai restaurant. The food choices are great and the portions are really nice sized. Great for sharing. I had the nicely stuffed Crab Rangoons w/a sweet spicy sauce and Won Ton soup w/ shrimp & basil & vegies. Very light mellow satisfying flavor. Perfect for what I was craving. It was all so good. Comfortable quiet warm intimate atmosphere too. Great spot for a meal with friends or a date night.

Calif Chicken Cafe
9045 Topanga Canyon Blvd, West Hills, CA 91304, United States
California Chicken Cafe is really great if you want some quick healthy food. What I really like about this place is that the food is really fresh but also really natural. I dont taste any fake additives or preservatives. They have a great variety of side dishes but I usually go for the hot potatoes or the rice pilaf. Both are amazing. I have never ordered any wraps from California Chicken Cafe, but I have heard they are good. I have always gotten just the rotisserie chicken. Often times I order a whole chicken and two sides for lunch, eat half, and save the rest for dinner. It is very affordable, especially with the quality of the food. It can be difficult to find healthy food for this price and especially that is this convenient. Ever since they opened the Topanga Canyon location, I have been eating there more often. Its in the perfect place for me to get there easily. They built a new store for this location, and it is clean and modern looking. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because I never feel surprised or adventurous when looking at the menu. I get the same thing every time, and I know exactly what I am going to get before I even get there. That being said, I am never disappointed by what I get from this place. It is definitely one of those places where what you see is what you get, and what you get is very good.
Pho So 1
22902 Vanowen St, West Hills, CA 91307, United States
I love Pho and am very hard to please when it comes to a good pho. I have been to many pho restaurants and have not been impressed at all. The West Hills Pho 1, however, despite being much more distance than many others close to me are my ideal pho place. Its a clean and nice place, the food is served so quickly within few minutes of ordering, the quality and amount of pho served is wonderful, I order chicken pho, there was such generous amount of chicken white meat in there, generous amount if the soup, noodles, fresh mung bean sprouts, fresh basil, fresh and juicy lemon halfs which I asked for, I love lots of lemon juice in my pho. This is by far THE MOST DELICIOUS AND BEST PHO I HAVE EVER TRIED.
Nicos Family Restaurant

Cons (first, because it was that bad)-visible rat droppings-nonchalant management regarding safety of guests-poor quality/tasting food-Pungent smell of mildew/moth balls throughout restaurant-filthy bathroom-dirty/sticky condiment bottles & salt/pepper shakersPros-friendly waiter-no wait time for it being Saturday morningExplanation (if it's still needed after you read about rat poop & smell):First, I read the reviews before we stopped here & I'm shocked at how many good reviews there are after what we witnessed & even more shocked at the A rating that's visible when you walk in.As soon as you walk in the smell is overwhelming. Yes, we still stayed because we were not going to have time to look for a different place before our appointment & we figured how much worse can it get. We were seated right away at a corner booth towards the back. The food was bad, so the only one im going to detail is the stuffed french toast that was exceptionally bad. The only two bites i took were filled with old tasting grease, like they deep fried it in old oil. When we got up to leave, we turned back to see if we left anything behind & that's when we spotted the rodent droppings on top of the booth (pictured). At the register we asked to speak to the manager, she called someone by the name of Kim over. We had just walked by this man who was working on a laptop with some paperwork. My husband let him know about the rat poop, but the “manager” didn't even flinch & with no concern or eye contact proceeded to simply say that pest control has been on it & there was nothing that they could do. As he finished processing payment he did hand us a stamp card, im guessing for future visits, but no apologies or discounts were given. We spent over $80 (not including tip) for 2 adults & 1 kid.Worst breakfast spot we've ever been to.
Thai Fusion Bistro
6401 Platt Ave UNIT 5, West Hills, CA 91307, United States
For their Taco Tuesday:My top 2 tacos were: spicy ahi with Thai basil and the chicken wing with Thai slaw over the Thai larb with ground chicken and the crispy white fish with Thai slaw and avocado. As for the duck and crispy pork belly taco, Im sure it would be tasty and make for a great picture. As for the seafood soup its good but I really dislike the use of white mushrooms in Thai soups. For dessert, I got the mango and sticky rice taco. Its 2 bucks man. Compared to their regular $10 mango and sticky rice and plus portion controlled. But boy, it was delicious.... shouldve gotten 2.Each taco is 3 bites for me, if I were a guy, it would probably be down in 2 bites. So order up.As for service, they were on top of things. They have a cool wine bar area and the whole space of the restaurant feels very feng shui. I would come back here for their tacos again. I already have my game plan mapped out ahead of what Im gonna order.
AYCE GOGI West Hills
6705 Fallbrook Ave, West Hills, CA 91307, United States
Best local Korean BBQ restaurant! Tables have plexiglass separation, and no smoke (I was worried about that, since youre BBQ-ing inside.) Absolutely try their beef kalbi soup (awesome!). Favorites are kalbi beef, bulgogi beef, lemon chicken. Get the Japjae noodles, too. This takes some getting used to, coordinating the tongs in one hand and the sheers in the other, but youll get the knack. A must try place in West Hills in the ever-expanding Fallbrook Mall!
Stonefire Grill
6405 Fallbrook Ave, West Hills, CA 91307, United States
Horrible curbside service. I placed an order online and arrived earlier than the time stated so I knew I had to wait a bit. When I parked a young lady came up and asked for my name. She went inside, came back outside but never came back to my car to update me or check in again. I had my two toddlers in the car with me and one was thirsty, so I exited my car to ask one of the employees for a water. She said of course, but as I walked back to my car she waited a few minutes before heading inside to get the water. Nonetheless she finally came back with the water. We waited for another 10mins, still no food. At this point itapast my pickup time and other customers have come a d go e with their orders. I exited my car again and inquired about my order. A different young lady asked me for my name and headed inside to inquire about the order. When she finally came back out she didnt return to my car. She went to another car that had just pulled up and helped them. At this point Im becoming frustrated and my children are ready to leave. I call the restaurant ask about the status of my order. I was informed I need to ask someone outside. I explained that I already followed those procedures and still had no food. Its now almost 25mins past my pickup time. The lady over the phone said they would send someone to my car, surprise no one came. Once again I got out of my car and stopped one of the serves and asked for my order. She went inside, came back outside, went back in then fi ally returned to me only to tell me I had to wait another 10mins. At this point I want to leave and get refund.my 4yi son is telling me to leave because hes tired and hungry. I call the restaurant again and ask to speak with a manager.themanager tells me that they are running behind with the orders which I can understand but didnt know because of the lack of communication and professionalism. She then tells me that some of the servers are new and dont know how to communicate properly?! Huh?! How is that a valid excuse. I explain to her that anyone can offer an update or say we are running behind maam youre order will be out but to blatantly not interact with a customer is beyond naive employees and lack of experience. I then voice my frustration and she apologizes while make the sa.e excuse of communication. After I make reference that she hasnt even offered a remedy to the situation she says well what am I supposed to do i dont know if youre still here or not. I tell her in still parked because as we are speaking my food arrives almost 30mins late. She then suggests well maybe I can give you a free dessert or something. I say no to the dessert and she hung up on me. I will never patronize this restaurant again. The lack of customer service was appalling. And the manager was rude who hangs up on a customer? And I wasnt being rude or anything to her smh
