Ts Thai Restaurant

TS Thai is a small little eatery in Santa Monica. Parking is on the street or in the huge lot right across the street. It is easy to miss so look for the red curtain. Inside is nothing special, but it is very clean and the service is so great, you are happy you walked in.This is a family run business that really got hit by Covid, so they can use more walk ins. It looks like they have a ton of delivery, but we were seated right away at a very nice clean table and waited on like Kings since there was not that many people actually inside. The owner is just wonderful and the food is outstanding.Try their garlic noodles and Pad Thai. Both are great. We also had a wonderful fried rice with chicken and beef and it was so good. They give you a lot of food, and we were able to take some home. The bathrooms are spotless. The prices are really fair. We love it. Give them a try.

5 stars what it is. And what is that?Without question, the most beautiful, elegant Thai restaurant in L.A. Whoever designed it should get some kind of award. The food? Very good. I focus on a few dishes which have always drawn me to Thai restaurants. My favorite dish is Tom Kha Gai soup. And there is amongst the best Ive had - creamy, lush, decadent, and big, big flavor. I have no had better - not in Thai town, not at Jitlada. Theres is the best Ive tried (I havent tried every Thai restaurant in L.A., but certainly the well regarded ones including Talesai, Night + Market, Jitlada, Emporium Thai (which has a very charming room). This dish alone will keep me coming back. The Yum Gai soup is also very good (a great weight-watcher meal). The satays are great, cooked correctly with good quality ingredients. Duck, chili/cashew nut chicken, curries, calamari. Also find things on the menu that deviate from the usual. Which is always a good idea. Everything has always been very good. Glad I dont have to drive far for this place.

Im always wary of places that call themselves Asian Fusion. To me, thats just a cop out for saying, I want to make Asian food but mute the flavors so I can be more palatable to more people. To my surprise, Cassia had some pretty good food! Well, I will say they had A pretty good dish.- F O O D -The first dish we ordered was the Grilled Pork Belly Vermicelli. Now this dish is exactly what I expected from an Asian Fusion place. Now, Traditional Vietnamese Vermicelli can go either two ways:1. Pho2. Vermicelli bowl with fish sauce on the side. What we got was some weird mix in between. Pork belly was a little dry and a bit tough. Nothing spectacular like you would find at maybe a ramen place. Noodles are standard. Broth/sauce?! Now this is where I was confused, I wasnt sure if I should eat it like pho or pour a little like a traditional vermicelli bowl that I can get a pho restaurant. We opted to take the servers advice and dumped all the soup/sauce/broth thing into the noodles. Folks, I wouldnt recommend doing that. Maybe pour a little into your noodle and see if you like it. To me, the broth and the overall dish was heavy on the salt. Perhaps it was the pork? Either way, it had some interesting flavors but its a pass for me.The Laksa, however, was amazing! I was a little scared to try this dish as I had just come back from Singapore, which instantly makes me an expert, obviously. ;)The large portion of laksa was very spicy and is not for the faint of heart. if you cant handle heat, I recommend you try a different dish. To me, it was packed full of flavor and probably one of the best broths Ive tasted. Anywhere! My advice for this dish is use the fork, if youre not too great with chopsticks. The noodles are extremely slippery and can be a challenge picking up with chopsticks. (Major splash zone so be careful if youre wearing white!)The seafood was tasty and was a hardy portion. Overall, this is a must try if you want to take the dive into Southeast Asian food!- D R I N K S -I accompanied my food with a Scheidam Sling. An interesting twist on what Im guessing is a Singapore Sling. It wasnt too strong of a drink but it was still pretty tasty. I would have preferred it pack a little more of a punch but overall, it was extremely refreshing and the presentation was beautiful.- S E R V I C E -Can I say that the service was exceptional? We arrived on a nice Saturday evening and it was jam packed! No reservations and the wait was about 30 minutes to an hour. The host asked if we were okay with sitting at the bar, in which we said we didnt mind. Instead of waiting for an hour, we waited for about 15 minutes and were seated in front of the oyster bar, next to the entrance to the patio.Water was refilled prompt and the order was taken quickly. The server made great suggestions (minus the pouring the soup over the noodles, but I wont ding him for that).Everyone who walked by had a smile and greeted you as if you were the most important person in that restaurant. It was a very warm feeling and one that I enjoyed. Yes, the restaurant was loud, but it seemed like everyone was simply enjoying the food and their company; myself included.Im still a little wary of Fusion restaurants, but Cassia is slowly changing my mind.

Extremely rude lady from the kitchen. Some of the staff members apparently think that if a customer is a delivery person, they can be treated like rubbish. That its ok for the staff to raise voice at them, and accusing a customer of their own(staff) mistakes.Responding to your threats:My review is 100% true. I spoke to Uber and will go to the support office to share your threats regarding my employment youve just made. This is a Review section. I have a right to share my experience with your business. Your restaurant made a complaint to Uber, affecting my customer satisfaction rating. For the mistake of your staff member. Why do you think I cant rate your professionalism? If you continue threatening me I will do everything necessary in accordance with the law for an adequate response, protecting my rights and employment. As you said, lets be adults.Response 2:* I am responsible for my review only. I did not write any other reviews here. Only this one here and one on Yelp.As I noticed after your latest addition to this review response, you copied your response with threats to multiple other 1 star reviews, even though some of them were posted weeks before the incident occurred.I cant travel in time (I wish I could, to avoid that situation).* Your staff member was the first(!) to raise the voice. Of course I was not expecting to find myself in the situation where a restaurant employee made a mistake and then tried to make me responsible for that with raised voice and accusing tone. I came to grab a package for a customer, not to be treated as I was. And not to tolerate threats either.

Trendy Southeast Asian restaurant on Main Street. Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening and made a reservation online in advance. Metered street parking. Indoor and outdoor patio seating available. The restaurant has great floral decor inside and though the space was quite cozy, there were a couple of larger parties seated outside. Credit cards accepted. We split four dishes between two people and that was a good amount of food. The kanpachi had a more coconut milk-heavy flavor than what we were expecting, and wasn’t spicy. The pork dumplings were standard. Our waiter recommended the butter chicken, and it came with a generous amount of creamy sauce. The nasi goreng was the largest dish and I liked this one the best (though some may find it on the saltier side).

I just wish I could give this place a -1. I tried to place an order online but it never gave me the option, and when I tried to call him AT NOON (who opens for lunch that late!) the guy behind the counter was VERY RUDE! He wouldnt take my credit card over the phone because I could have stolen the credit card, but explained that I could give my credit card to the person who was picking up the food (which makes no sense giving the fact that it would then be in the hands of a person whose name is NOT on the credit card. The man was VERY RUDE, and yelled at me that I could have stolen the card, he doesnt know me and he cant help me. I asked to speak to the manager and he said that no one was there. I have worked in the restaurant business for 10 years and I have never treated a customer like that. I was really looking forward to trying this place as I LOVE Thai food. But I guess I will have to keep wanting because I will never buy or should I say TRY to buy from this place AGAIN!!!

A must for taking visitors from out of town for a quick stop along the way!The Garden Park is beautifully decorated and good for taking a stroll, checking the scenery and taking photos around the famous BEVERLY HILLS Sign!Nicely contoured dirt paths also lead past interesting and peculiar artwork. The landscaping is well maintained, accentuated by the shady Moreton Bay fig trees. There's also views of popular attractions beyond the park, including the nearby Rodeo Drive to the southeast, or south of the church and Santa Monica Blvd. Also, seen two blocks northwest of the park is the beautiful Beverly Hills City Hall. The park is also known for seasonal displays, with current holiday related decorations!Parking at metered spaces on Park Way is typically cheaper than the garage parking. The residential area may also have street parking available, signs permitting. Visitors will likely be under surveillance, both in the park and understandably, through the surrounding affluent neighborhood.Tour vehicles typically pause in the loading zones by N. Canon Drive, where restroom access is steps away and tall palms line the street!
FIG RESTAURANT

A California Style Mediterranean Restaurant, the menu ingredients fuse Mediterranean Cuisine with Asian Cuisine. Happy Hour is the best time to go 50% off. My favorite dishes are the Southeast Asian inspired Beef Tartar with Tapioca Waffer, similar texture as a Chinese Shrimp Chip. The Branzino is the best entrée, Roasted crispy skin. Every few minutes youll see Flaming Saganaki Served at a neighboring tables.
