Taco Bell
7887 Soquel Dr, Aptos, CA 95003, United States
This location is FAMOUSLY bad, to the point that it is a joke among locals. In the 2 years living nearby I've had:-a beef crispy taco with literally no beef inside of it, just lettuce and cheese,-more than 4 times I've ordered a 3 piece combo meal with 2 items only-arguing about whether or not I ordered a drink with my *combo* from the self-service machines on the wall-seen many employees come & go, and even a new manager who was supposed to turn things around... haven't seen her since!Best of luck getting food here but do yourself a favor: only go if you have time to kill and don't care about what ends up in your bag. It could be literally anything.

Soul Salad

So went there today and they requested that I choose from a salad on there menu then modify what to delete or add to make a custom salad. Yet as I stood there they instructed me 2xs to go online and place a order. This was just ridiculous then to just go down the line and add whatever salad items then charge me accordingly. Other friend that referred me had similar issues at closing time. So as a born and raised county resident ill be spreading the word to not support this local business. Bummer since I eat salads daily. First time experience are always a bases to capture repetitive repeat sales. Yet this will now be negative opinions throughout my network.
Aptos Village
448 Granite Way, Aptos, CA 95003, United States
The renovation and what they call improvements in aptos village is just a scam to make more money. I live on the outskirts and now the traffic is quite a bit more complicated and congested and in the development itself the streets are not wide enough. Its clear that they wanted to make money off of every square foot. This was a political ploy with the good old boys congratulating each others with their profits. Disgusting. When you are a pig, it is never enough.
Pizza 1
253 Center Ave, Aptos, CA 95003, United States
I ordered a #1 combo with pepperoni, red onions, green peppers, mushrooms, Italian sausage and fresh tomatoes but when I brought the pizza back to my motel room, the restaurant had given me the #2 vegetarian combo with red onions, green peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, black olives, herbs and fresh tomatoes. A little annoying but I like veggie pizzas and didn’t want to drive back for the correct pizza so ate what I got. It was unfortunately a bit bland with a too-thick crust. Maybe a little salt on the veggies or roasting them or a sprinkle of Parmesan would have helped. But the vegetables were fresh.
Aptos St. BBQ
8059 Aptos St, Aptos, CA 95003, United States
Reviewed during COVID-19, ordering in and getting takeout (~30 minutes) based on how busy they are.Thank you Aptos BBQ team for being open, friendly, and providing us with a great meal keeping our spirits high!========================Overall: such a great find! If youre in the area, or not in the area and feel like BBQ - this is it! Its worth the trek! We went in to order, and picked up to picnic in the car - and there was silence until we got halfway through our meals!Food Orders:Sandwiches came on a soft ciabatta roll. Perfectly held the sandwich together. Porous enough to capture the juices, and gave a nice bite. We both ordered the potato salad as a side. It was really good. Not drenched in mayo, good bite of peppers, onions, chunks of potato with their spice rub.Daily Special: Brisket SandwichWe were lucky to see the Specials Board- they had a brisket sandwich with chimichurri, provolone and grilled onions. And let me tell you, it was devoured in minutes!Brisket was perfectly smoked, you can see the smoke rings, each bite melted in your mouth. For someone that doesnt like to chew, there was no need to! The meat literally dissolved with each bite. The addition of chimichurri, provolone, and grilled onions gave it a chutney taste. The blend of tang and sweetness really brought the sandwich together.Firebird SandwichTHE JUICIEST chicken Ive ever had. Nicely pulled, giving a nice chunk, but not that dry, stringy cubed bite. The pieces of chicken were laye 3 layers deep, giving you a nice portion of meat to bread. If it wasnt for the bun, the juices would have oozed out of the sandwich. The chicken was in a hot sauce that was just perfect. Nice spice on the tongue, but nothing that will make your stomach churn if youre sensitive.Looking forward to our next BBQ craving, which will definitely be met with a visit to Aptos St BBQ

We went for the first time ever yesterday and LOVED it!I couldn't take a picture of everything we ordered because I was too excited to eat but here's the breakdown:Overall Experience-Staff are sweet and friendly-Plenty of parking around the restaurant-We sat outdoors and had a beautiful view of the woods below but there's also indoor seatingWhat we ordered (the menu changes!)-Budino with Roasted Grapes: excellent-Caesar Salad: great dressing-House Made Sourdough Focaccia: standard delicious focaccia but the hummus stole the show-Boneless Beef Shortrib: pictured below and it was amazing. I loved every bite and even the broccolini was addicting-Fogline Farm Stuffed Chicken with Spaetzle: my partner ordered this meal and I only got ONE, albeit delicious, bite since he ate it so fast and didn't share-Brownie ala Mode: I don't even like chocolate but loved this-Seasonal Sorbet Trio: Incredible. The kiwi flavor was outstanding as it had the perfect balance between the sweetness, and tangy tartness of an actual kiwiWe'll be back, see you then!
Manuels Mexican Restaurant
261 Center Ave, Aptos, CA 95003, United States
I had dinner here yesterday and got the guacamole for starter which had cheese on it so those who are intolerant should specify no cheese on the guacamole. The Guacamole was good. I had the special of the day Chicken Enchilada with a fantastic mole sauce and came with a unique salad that had garbanzo beans on it and a unique dressing, unique and surprisingly went well together. The enchilada was fantastic and was a large portion. The special also included ice cream. I chose the mango-banana which was as delicious as it sounds. I usually go with chocolate as a default but this was worth the change for the night and finished off the spice of the entre very well. The service was great overall, they were quick to take care of things(keep drinks full, clean up plates as you finish, check in to see if you need anything else). They all seemed to work as a team on never did anyone tell me they needed to get my server to help me. Whoever I asked just took care of it. Great! I was told this is the best Mexican place in Santa Cruz for traditional food, I dont know if it is yet, but it will definitely be tough to beat and is definitely a favorite restaurant of mine now in this town as a must visit for anyone looking for great Mexican food. Im very picky with Mexican food and this place definitely makes the grade.
Seascape Beach Resort
1 Seascape Resort Dr, Aptos, CA 95003, United States
I can still hear the loud golf carts in my head after departing over 12 hours ago….It's called seascape beach resort. But It's hardly a resort…Things to keep in mind if you decide to book-building 500 is where all the workers keep their golf carts, and they run non-stop, even at 12 midnight. So keeping the door open for the ocean breeze was ruined..-if you have children, please check with your host if your building is located near the adult pool. I know that isn't advertised and many parents are disappointed to find that they can't use the nearest pool-wear a wet suit to the pool, this was our BIGGEST complaint. The pool wasn't heated and the weather here doesn't allow for natural heating. Naturally, no one really uses the pool because it was freezing, which was a HUGE disappointment.-In addition, they don't keep the pool area fully stocked with towels and it seems they don't keep the hot tub clean…I still used it but could definitely tell.-they say it's a 7min walk to the beach. More like 15-20MINUTES and it's located on a cliff so you walk all the way down the hill and there isn't bathrooms or towels. Just FYI. I wouldn't mind as much if I didn't have kids. Yes they have a service that will bring you back up. But basically it's not really a “beach” resort.-lastly, the restaurant is not good…..Plus, there IS NOT coffee service inside the hotel lobby like they advertise. I asked the front desk and she simply said “we have no one working today” and everything was locked up. No real coffee bar anyways, just a actual bar with coffee…I just feel like people should know these small details before booking. Especially for the price they charge… resort prices for a sub-par stayAlso, everyone is just so oddly angry… who work there..or so it seems like they are un-happyI'm thinking this place used to be good back in the day, possibly…..
Eriks DeliCaf
102 Rancho Del Mar, Aptos, CA 95003, United States
Very upset - DO NOT order online using the eriksdelicafe.com link. We have been ordering here instead of using Door Dash because we want to support the local store. We thought we were supporting the local franchise owner. Today, our order was WRONG - it was dripping Chinese food and 25% in value/size vs. what we ordered from Eriks (we almost thought to just accept the mistake and eat the Chinese food). When I called the # on the receipt, which is Eriks Aptos location, and explained the situation, the person on the food was adamant they do not do delivery service, and obviously, they dont sell Chinese food, so I must have ordered from Door Dash. I. DID. NOT!!!I ordered directly on the eriksdelicafe.com site. Its even linked on the Yelp page here.It turns out Eriks uses some service called Olo. But there is no way to contact Olo as a consumer and request a refund. The receipt actually says call the original store and has the stores number. We did, and were told we were crazy. Even the Olo help pages said to contact the original store. It makes no sense if this was a Door Dash service that they would make the consumer call the store. Olo is a third-party service, but its licensed by Eriks and Eriks is responsible for the screwed up door.Ive been tipping well each time weve ordered thinking it was an Eriks employee. Id ask for a refund, but theres nowhere to ask for it. They better not spit in my food next time when I escalate this issue!
Zameen Mediterranean Cuisine
7528 Soquel Dr, Aptos, CA 95003, United States
Their falafel salads are my favorite. But their tzatziki and hummus are amazing, too. I go to this place at least 3 times a month(if not more) they are amazing. I read a review that said the hummus didn't have enough acid or something- that's not true. Order their hummus and it was absolutely amazing and worth every penny. I hope they don't change their recipe due to the negative comment because everyone loves it and there is bound to be one bad apple thinking something is off. Also, Zameens shrimp is amazing, their pizzas are amazing, their gyros are amazing, it's hard to find something in their menu that isn't amazing to be honest. I've tried almost everything on the menu and it's all delicious but everyone has their favorites of course! Their lamb burgers are also delicious. My top favorite restaurant for sure.
