Red Corner Restaurant
701 N Fair Oaks Ave, Pasadena, CA 91103, United States
This place is the one I always prefer. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The crew is very amicable and the cuisine they cook is so fresh and tasty. I never decline to have a nice meal here. Highly recommended.

Sunflower Drive-In

A classic vegetarian restaurant in the heart of fair oaks! I enjoy walking around the park and coming here after for a healthy lunch or snack. My favorites are the super nut burger or the super avocado and cheese. The ingredients here are always fresh and I enjoy taking my vegetarian and vegan friends here!

Taco Bell
6745 Madison Ave, Fair Oaks, CA 95628, United States
This place gets worse and worse every time we come here. Just went and ordered food. Got to the window and the kid (malachi) told us the total. They didnt tell us the amount when we were ordering but the amount the kid said at the window seemed about right for what we ordered. He handed us our food but we were waiting for the drinks. Had to flag him back over to the window to let him know. He then gets an attitude saying we didn't order drinks and when we told him we did he continued to argue with us. He then starts reading off the order he handed to us and it wasn't ours. We didn't realize he gave us the wrong stuff until he read it off because we hadn't checked the bag. So we told him it wasn't ours and handed back the food that he gave us. He then went on and said if we wanted to order we would have to go back around and place the order again, that he couldn't take an order at the window. We then told him no we weren't going to do that and to just refund our money. He then started arguing saying we didn't order anything so there's nothing to refund. He literally took our card and charged it! He finally figured out that he did actually charge us and then refunded us, but it was absolutely ridiculous. Literally the worst costumer service I've ever had. I don't know how he acted like any part of it was our fault when it was 100% on them.

Papa Murphys Take N Bake Pizza
6470 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael, CA 95608, United States
I love this Papa Murphys. The staff are friendly and take your order well over the phone. I always order the family size chicken bacon artichoke Pizza on original crust without cheese and without creamy garlic sauce. Instead they put down olive oil. I have a dairy allergy so its very hard for me to find pizza that still taste good. This pizza never fails to be delicious! And the staff here actually get my order right. Ive tried to order this from a couple of different Papa Murphys locations and it seems like they often make some kind of mistake. Anyway I appreciate how the staff at this location follow the instructions I give. This is the only Pizza I eat and it tastes good and is an amazing deal. ?

Nekter Juice Bar
5442 Hazel Ave Suite 502, Fair Oaks, CA 95628, United States
I used your mobile app and even showed up 5 min after it was supposed to be ready. The two kids working in the back had no one else they were helping and both came out looking like they've been taking a nap. My smoothie wasn't made but the ticket was sitting in the counter. I had to stand there and watch the boy make my smoothie, no apology, no discount for the inconvenience. I use the online order app so I can make it on time to work. Thx for the inconveniences. What we happened to customer service these days? It's all a bunch of lazy kids milking the clock. This isn't the first time I've had issues at this location. I will go elsewhere for a $10 smoothie.

Good Eats Deli
4884 San Juan Ave, Fair Oaks, CA 95628, United States
The old business adage of Quality, Price, or Service, pick any two holds true for the majority of businesses.Close to the intersections of Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, and Carmichael, the new Breakfast/Lunch spot serving the most killer food, Good Eats Deli, ups the ante by introducing a fourth component to that saying… Quantity, or Value. And Im excited to say that for the hungry residents of these areas, they smash the old adage and have created a very rare success of excelling at all four!Sam, and her husband Ramzi, ran a successful Good Eats Deli for 11 years in the heart of the Financial District in San Francisco. They were a huge hit with both the suits and everyday workers. They offered something that others didnt and were loved by all. That was, until the Pandemic of 2020 hit and decimated their business.Relocating to the greater Sacramento area, they hunted for a new location to recreate what they loved to do, cook, and serve great food to their customers. And in the six weeks since theyve opened, a loyal following visits them frequently!Housed off San Juan Avenue, on the Fair Oaks side in the Raleys Shopping Center, Good Eats Deli replaced a failed sandwich shop. And its a good thing because my first visit blew me away. And for someone who doesnt eat fast food or patronize chain restaurants, I am very particular about Quality, Price, Service, and Value.Well, Sam and Ramzi will blow you away at all four!QUALITY… they make from scratch 95% of their products. Youll be hard-pressed to find that in just about any restaurant. The bread? OMG! Delish!!! Fresh made-to-order salads. Breakfast dishes that make a quick-to-go meal. And the sandwiches and wraps are just amazing. They cater to carnivore and plant-based eaters alike.PRICE… an out-of-town trip recently with some friends and someone picked up sandwiches at that Jersey sandwich place. I was quite surprised that it was $12.00 for a skimpy sub sandwich. It was lacking in flavor and ingredients, but have never been before, nor frequented this kind of place, my friends told me this was the norm. Well, expect the myth to be shattered at Good Eats Deli. Not only do you get a sandwich or wrap that is busting with quality ingredients, but you also get a side salad, PLUS a homemade and freshly baked cookie. For all about the same price!SERVICE… Sam runs the front, while Ramzi cooks most of the food, and both offer up their old-world charm and service. It shows from when you first walk in the door… you are not just a number. You are not just another customer. Youll become family in no time. Just ask one of the regulars who are remembered by name and their favorite dishes.VALUE… this is where Sam and Ramzis Good Eats Deli has NO competition. The serving size is big. Okay, more like really large. Scratch that, how about HUGE! Its a meal, and then some! Combined with the quality ingredients, size, service, and price, there was no skimping. What did I have? For breakfast, I had the Veggie Wrap which was delicious with freshly cooked eggs, homemade pesto, roasted veggie, and wrapped up and grilled Panini style. For lunch, Ive tried the Hot Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich on their homemade bread which was off the chart. Ive also tried the Falafel Wrap which is also done Panini style and includes their amazing house-made and from-scratch Falafel. The homemade vinaigrette with Spring Green was great, as well as their Caesar Salad. Again, portions are big. And the cookie is an added bonus!Bottom line… this is the food like your mom or grandmother used to make. This is first-rate, top-notch, and makes you want to come back again and again. Please support small businesses and give Good Eats Deli a try. I am most certain it will become one of your new favorite places, and the warmth of Sam and Ramzi will make you want to come back again and again!

Tacos 210
Ventura St &, N Fair Oaks Ave, Altadena, CA 91001, United States
So very good. Everything. Its all good. I loved the brussel sprout taco and the jackfruit carnitas taco, they were the real surprise highlight. The asada, pastor and chicharron were all very good too. I like the salsas a lot. They are very generous with sides of limes, radishes and this bag of spicy cucumbers and onions and peppers that was so delicious I couldnt stop eating them. They have different specials all the time and very active on instagram. Go check em out, you wont be disappointed.

Fast Cat Coffee
7901 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael, CA 95608, United States
Below is the original review I made where Ive rated them 1 star in 2021. I religiously avoided this restaurant when it came to DoorDash. Im keeping it below because we are humans and should allow room for error and grace. We are all not perfect. I had the opportunity to revisit this establishment and am blown away by Owner and her Husband Caleb. It was a great experience the second time around and I will definitely be going back. I delivered an Instacart order and Caleb offered me a drink. I felt like I was at the Doctors and he was carefully constructing a drink that not only would taste extremely great but was also HEALTHY for my body. The Owner said she has a ton of secret menu options and I cant wait. Starbucks and Peets take a back seat with Fast Cat Coffee. If I could I give negative 0. Came to pick up a door dash order. . stood there for 10 mins. No ill be right with you. One moment. Nothing. Then a non colored man walks in and is immediately assisted. Never used their service because the non colored man in front vibe was always off. Today was a confirmation. Im not even a customer. Lol! Im picking up om behalf of YOUR customer. THEN he coughed lips closed with no mask on. Ugh. I just walked away. Its 2021 its covid and they do not pass the vibe check.

Trader Joes
5309 Sunrise Blvd, Fair Oaks, CA 95628, United States
To whom it may concern: I happened to be in the vicinity of Trader Joes on Sunrise Blvd., in Fair Oaks the morning of Saturday, September 19th. I was unfortunately attending the services for a young co-work (23 yrs old) who had passed away on July 30, 2015 and after the services, his family was holding a Celebration of Life Memorial with a Luncheon for family, friends and co-workers and unfortunately, one of the items for the luncheon, which was a Broccoli Salad Kit we had purchased from our business (Food Distributor), and unfortunately it did not include the Broccoli (which we were not aware of), so at the last minute, I had to find a store that carried package broccoli for the salad and being an avid shopper of Traders Joes, this was the first store that came to mind. It also happened that the Fair Oaks store was only a couple of blocks from the services, so I ran (literally) into the store to purchase 8 bags of washed & cut broccoli. The person who waited on me was very pleasant and quick to ring up my order and let me be on my way. In my haste, I misplaced my receipt and needed it on Monday morning to reconcile the charges on my business credit card. I call the Fair Oaks store and spoke to a very pleasant and professional employee by the name of Christian. He was able to obtain an itemized copy of my receipt from their register and his manager was kind enough to take a picture of the receipt and send it to my iPhone, thus preventing me from having to take the lengthy drive from West Sacramento to Fair Oaks. I was extremely grateful at the above and beyond Customer Service I received from this store. If ever I am in this area in the future, I would be more than happy to shop in this store should the need arise, as I have the utmost confidence I will receive the best Customer Service, not to mention competitive pricing. Thank you very much to Christian and his Manager for being so pleasant, professional and accommodating. Sincerely, A more than satisfied customer!!

Casablanca Moroccan Restaurant
3516 Fair Oaks Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95864, United States
Its my birthday and I was looking for something more than just dinner, I wanted to have an experience so Im happy Casablanca exists because it is such a fabulous experience and was everything I wanted and more!Their parking lot has like eight spaces so we parked a block over and walked to the restaurant. Yes, the location sucks but the food and ambiance more than makes up for it. We arrived around 7 on a Sunday and it was full except for two tables so there was a good energy in the tiny room that feels open because of the low tables and lack of chairs. It was fun sitting on a cushion and eating with my hands! Mom and I ordered the sultans feast which started with the most delicious and flavorful lentil soup followed by hummus and a cumin spiced cold carrot dish that could become addictive. Next we enjoyed the bastilla with its crunchy fillo pastry and powdered sugar cinnamon beefiness. Then came the lamb tagine which is like a stew and was seriously one of the best things Ive ever eaten, so perfectly spiced and well rounded in flavors. Honey chicken and veggies couscous ended the entrees followed by two small pieces of baklava a hot tea to finish. The food was absolutely amazing but what made the night more memorable were the people. Maurit, the owner sets the tone and everyone was having fun in a relaxed, casual environment because we had three birthdays so he puts on a birthday song while they bring out a free dessert and everyone claps and cheers. The music stayed on so the kids started dancing which led to Maurit switching the song to Billy Jean by Michael Jackson and almost everyone got up to dance it was so much fun! Afterwards we felt more open and neighboring tables started talking freely to each other it was more community like and less restaurant like. We stayed for over two hours and it will be one of the more memorable dining experiences Ive had and Im so looking forward to returning even though I know tonight probably wont happen again. So thankful for this fabulous experience!
