Pieology Pizzeria Camino Arroyo, Gilroy
6955 Camino Arroyo, Gilroy, CA 95020, United States
Interesting concept. The pizzaria is laid out similar to a Chipotles or Subway. You choose your crust first from thin, thick, rising or cauliflower. There is only one size. It serves 2-3 people. If you choose anything other than thin crust there is an up charge between 1.50 and 2.50. They press the crust as you watch. Then choose your sauce from house red, garlic butter, etc.Next you choose your cheese from six kinds or a combination or vegan. Then you move down the line to select your toppings. If you choose only one topping the pizza is $6.50. if you go with unlimited toppings the price is $8.50. First comes a wide selection of veggies and herbs, such as sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, several kinds of people, fresh basil, spinach, etc., All the typical toppings. Finally there is an extensive meat counter to choose from, again with all of the typical toppings and some very unusual ones. Your pizza then goes into a flaming brick oven. You select your drink and pay. They offer paper plates, parmesan cheese and hot peppers. The process sounds long but it goes very fast. The pizza is ready before you have time to sit down. You can eat in the cozy dining room or take out. It was a fun experience. I went there because its one of only two pizzarias in the area to offer vegan pizza. Be advised that all their crusts are vegan except the cauliflower crust. The pizza was delicious and the thin crust was crispy. The flaming oven really added to the flavor .The wait staff was friendly, pleasant, helpful and patient. It seemed clean and well organized. I paid a total of 9.89 including tax for a fully loaded vegan pizza. If this review was helpful, please like!

OMG, this little truck is on fire, with some of the most delicious (and beautiful) tacos Ive ever tasted! The Chef/Owner cooked at a Michelin Star restaurant for years and you can really see those fine dining touches in the preparation and finishes. Even though its very casual, the food is serious business. Get here sooner than later before the masses discover this gem.

AnNam Bistro and Cafe
1295 1st St, Gilroy, CA 95020, United States
This is my honest review of this cafe. Ive visited 2 times and both I have been very let down. I wish I could rate it higher but it just did not meet any of my expectations, had there been any. The only high rating is for the atmosphere. Lovely interior. One of the times I came here was for mothers day. I made a reservation for 10:30 and we didnt receive food until 11:05, no drinks until 11:40 (1hr+ wait for drinks) even though I ordered them when I payed for our meals. They forgot our drinks. I ordered an iced latte and a cappuchino. Even after I went up and asked, the drinks still took 15 minutes to get. I would understand if it was super busy but everyone in the cafe had reservations for the same exact time and the other parties in the restaurant had received their drinks half an hour earlier. When we finally got our drinks, my latte was 90% ice. I was so sad. I will add a picture. The drinks were not included in the reservations, I dont think. Or at least the kind of drinks we got. The food was also extremely disappointing. The appetizers were burnt black at the bottom. The rest of the food was mid. The potstickers were less than warm. The reservation was from 10:30-12:00 and by 12:05 we still had not received our desserts and we just had to go. Maybe it was because it was their first mothers day idk. Hoping next yrs is better. I paid 120$.The other time I went with my friends and it was almost the same story. I ordered before my friends at 10:20. My friends got they got all their food and drinks before I got my first food item. I got my cookie first at 10:57. It was 11:15, my friends finished eating, and still no food. I wanted to cry atp! I went up and asked about it and they finally brought my salmon bagel at 11:20. Still no drink! I went up to ask about it and it looked like they lost the receipt/ forgot about it. It was 11:30 when I got my drink. My food was ok. When the waiter came to pick up the empty plates she asked if i wanted my food to go and i said yes. She took my half drank latte and idk i was still drinking it and i thought she would put it in a cup to go but she took it to the dirty dishes lol. My fault ig but whatever ? I paid 25-26$ I think.I think whatever system the management follows is just not working. Like the drinks should come out first, then the rest of the food. It was just very disorganized. Crazy wait times for crazy prices. I understand the prices maybe (8$ drinks with 90% ice is insane though) good quality food costs a lot but for the wait time? and service? not worth it. they have lots of potential and hope they improve.

Hampton Inn & Suites Gilroy

As you walk in its beautiful. They have a little snack and drink area available for purchase, and free bottles of water. Check-in was easy and the lady was so kind!! I got into my room and it looked beautiful. The beds and bathroom were clean, it was a little stuffy but that quickly went away when I got the air going. It wasnt till after that I saw, the soap dispensers in the sink area were coming off the wall. There was a night light but it never worked and upon inspection, the bulb was burnt. The floor and carpet were clean and passed the white sock test, but none of the corner areas were clean. There were little hairs in most of the corners. The sink was missing a piece of the fixture and it looked built up and gross. The water pressure in the shower was good till you turned on the shower head. Only half the water was coming out because it was so built up with calcification. Then the beds... to me they were hard, I know its a preference, but it was too hard for me, my back was stiff when I woke up. When you turn the lights out to sleep, there is so many bright lights still in the room, didnt look as if you shut anything off. Between the gap at the bottom of the door, microwave, air conditioner and clock, there was no where to turn where it was just dark. Even covering with towels was a bust, it showed how thin the towels were. The cover they have over the comforter was ruff and scratchy. For what I paid for the room, it was lacking for sure. Breakfast was good, loved the waffles!! But for this experience, I will not be back to this hotel.

Whether youre in the mood for a hearty burger or craving the zesty kick of tacos, this place has it all. The attention to detail in each dish is evident, with fresh ingredients and creative combinations that awaken the taste buds in the most delightful way.The service was impeccable, with friendly staff who went out of their way to make my dining experience memorable. They were knowledgeable about the menu, and their passion for the food they served was palpable. The recommendations they provided were spot-on, ensuring that I enjoyed a satisfying meal tailored to my preferences.I cant neglect to mention the ambiance, which strikes the perfect balance between cozy and energetic. The colorful decor and tasteful nods to both American and Mexican culture add a playful touch to the dining experience. Whether youre dining solo, with friends, or with family, this place offers an inviting and comfortable space for everyone. What truly sets this diner apart is the culinary artistry thats clearly at play in every dish. The flavors are bold, the presentation is appetizing, and each bite is a delightful journey through the intersection of two rich culinary traditions. In a world where fusion cuisine can sometimes miss the mark, this American-Mexican diner stands out as a shining example of how it should be done. If youre looking for a gastronomic adventure that combines the best of both worlds, look no further. This diner has earned every one of its five stars and has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite eateries. I cant wait to return for another round of flavor fiesta!

Absolutely fantastic! My only complaint is the food- not a lot of vegetarian options and overpriced for non-quality food. Cold fries, pre made salad and stale nachos at their mexican restaurant. Everything else was FABULOUS. Id love to return but hope for better food options next time.
