Very convenient restaurant in a strip mall with plenty of free parking. Various seating options, including generous dog friendly outdoor seating. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. Many healthy options and plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menu items. Fish tacos were very good. Tuna sandwich has a very generous serving of tuna. Clean, single stall restrooms.

Taco Bell is a national/international fast food restaurant with several locations in the Goleta/Santa Barbara area. It's a Mexican fast food chain with modestly priced food items. It is not for those looking for high quality gourmet Mexican food but if you want a fast hot, inexpensive, adequate meal served in a hurry this is the place for you. The tacos and burritos are inexpensive and are not too bad. Although not known for serving healthy food they have slowly been adding healthy menu choices over the years and it is now possible to eat healthier there. Great place to stop for a fast inexpensive meal.

Obsessed. Absolutely LOVED the lemon chicken. I didnt like the shawarma as much, but it wasnt bad by any means. I got a tonnn of toppings because it was my first time there. Extremely generous portions and not even a bad price compared to similar restaurants. Everything was delicious. Never had couscous before, now I know i like it! The warmed garbanzos are incredible. The toppings are unique and delicious. I got the kalamata hummus, harissa hummus, and the original and all of them were EXCELLENT. The kalamata is very strong in the hummus, so if you prefer a more subtle taste then I wouldnt get too much. The lemon chicken was incredibly tender. Also got lemon + olive oil dressing as well as the jalapeño garlic tahini. Got a fried jalapeño - delicious. They filled my bowl to the brim! Overall just excellent, so many flavors.

Panino makes fresh, vibrant sandwiches and salads that really, and excuse the term, paint the palet with lots of flavors. The bread is fresh and compliments the fillings rather than overwhelms or gets overwhelmed by them. The salads are crisp and not too heavily dressed with good quality ingredients. If youre looking for a pleasant place for an afternoon meal, you cant go wrong with Panino.Just beware that youll be looking at a higher priced sandwich than something like South Coast Deli; that being said, youre going to get a more refined sandwich or salad out of Panino too. Expect $9 for a sandwich. More for a salad.

Edit: I tried the new steamed beef and that was working for a couple of months, but even that has turned into some sort of weird mushy kind of strange meat texture that made me physically wretch and it is not quite like genuine shredded beef cuts. Unfortunately, Lilys is off the table for me in 2023. I know the economy is hard on people right now, but their high quality meat for a low price used to be the main draw. Hope they find their groove again.Edit: I think they must have changed meat providers, cuts, or chefs because the last several times weve been the meat has been gamey and chewy. A little too close to authentic for me.Original: I always get the Asado and rarely is the meat chewy or weird. They need to add a menu sign closer to the door or outside, though, and adjust their pickup table. This situation is not promoting social distancing. When I went last night I found myself literally surrounded by a couple of college kids who clearly couldnt read the warning on the back of my sweater to socially distance. Like right next to me and right behind me close, because they wanted to see the menu and couldnt wait their turn. It was so annerving that I got out of line to protect mysel from those irresponsible kids.

I don't recommend this place at all. The food quality is ok. The place is small and feels very overcrowded. It doesn't look clean at all . I have issues with the workers here. I don't like being lied to and that is my main issue. The issue happened back in October of 2023. I had told the cashier I need to split the bill into two forms of payment. I was charged for the full amount on the first credit card I used and I immediately asked for a refund and to redo the transaction. The cashier was confused what to do and someone else stepped in. We discussed the issue for about a minute and it appeared he did not want to deal with the issue so he then allegedly told me the food was going to be free and he was just going to issue a refund. I insisted I wanted to pay but he ensured me to not worry about it. I was with a colleague of mine and he left a very generous tip of over 10$. We are now 2 months later and I never received that refund. I was clearly lied to and I did multiple inquiries on the habit listens and I never got a reply back from any manager. I went back to the store two weeks later and I spoke to the leader on duty. I was told by her that she was going to speak to manager and have manager reach out to me. I even reached out to corporate phone number and no reply either.

Updated. In five years of cvd19, the restaurant still keeps consistent standards. The poke bowl isnt shrinkflated and the quality portions are just as good. Compare my old photos to the new ones.The food is authentic and has rare Japanese ingredients like natto, a fermented soybean, that is often forgotten in hipster/fusion trendy places. Since I dont eat pork, I ordered the vegetarian ramen with the added s&b noodles and it was not lacking flavor. It had a great fatness and umami from a traditional ramen without the oink. The best deal on the menu are the small poke bowls $6 each which have like 9oz of fresh tuna or salmon, avocado, and nori. Poke joints charge like $13 for these, and the bowl here actually tastes fresh.

Ive eaten at Home Plate a few times now, and have even brought my colleagues from work with me twice. It is really really good! The people are awesome, the atmosphere is inviting, comfortable, and family-friendly, and everything that Ive tried on the menu has been prepared with high-quality ingredients and has been delicious.The sirloin burger may be one of, if not the, best burger sIve had in town. The chopped Italian salad is great, and really refreshing. The sliders were excellent. And, if youre in the mood for a more adult atmosphere, you can go to the bar next door and the folks from Home Plate will bring your food over to you, maybe a giant awesome pizza that you will want to gorge yourself with uncontrollably. Or get it by the slice!Really, its much better than Cal Taco or the other nearby options, and is well worth giving a try.
