Ordered 3 specialty Coffees and pastries. All were good. Nice atmosphere. Our experience would have been nice however, if you order 2 double shots (4 shots) of espresso and ask for a larger cup to allow for some half n half, they wanted to charge me for a Breve with 2 extra shots. I said I didnt want a Breve as it is too weak. I promised I wouldnt use any more than I would use in a regular coffee. I was totally made to feel like a cheapskate in front of all customers and employees present. Literally only used 2 oz of 1/2 n 1/2. Just whom is really being the cheapskate here? This is literally a hypocritical blame shift with the intent to gaslight. Understanding there are some patrons that may take advantage of your establishments condiments does not mean that a paying patron whom orders 4 items has this intent. Not a very good business tactic, let alone way to treat your customers or welcome them to return. Customer Relations 101. Well I waited almost 2 weeks to give a review in hop talk some since into with scumbag of an employee. I dropped my wallet outside of papa murphys on 10/3/23 and my wife was contacted and informed the employee that I specifically would be back to get my wallet. Upon arrival the employee told me that a lady came in and claimed that her son dropped a wallet. Once I received footage of the interaction Caleb the employee sneakily sets my wallet on the counter in front of two customers and walks away then the customers snatched my wallet and walked out. Customer name is Kindra and local pd seemed to know her well. Will not support this establishment and want to let the general public know how the owner conducts his business supporting his dishonest employees..

This great review is deserved by the employees and the food they make; tonight they were obviously understaffed and overwhelmed, and several customers were very rude even though the three workers on shift obviously were working as hard as they could and were saying they were so sorry anyone was upset or inconvenienced. It was the kind of thing that can make good employees walk off the job. I hope its a one-time thing and management doesnt that kind of thing happen to them again. I only waited half an hour and my pizza looks great, just like I ordered, so I think some of the angry people were exaggerating their wait time, but it was not a good situation for the workers. I stepped into one bully and told him I wasnt going to let him harass the girl about his pizza order anymore. He had made her cry. Im glad he backed down instead of taking me on; he was just not upset enough to be that foolish I guess. What a scene. I hope the ownership takes note and appreciates how hard their employees struggle to make them look good and make them money. Im sure I couldnt afford my used pickup driving, 1200sq ft renting, city lot living lifestyle on Papa Murphys wages.Heres to the hard working people doing the hard work: cheers!

WORST FIRST EXPERIENCE GETTING PAPA MURPHYS AND NEVER WANT TO GET AGAIN.Id give negative stars if I could. Had ordered through door dash for delivery then canceled the order. Door dash stated that they could only refund the drivers tip(had free delivery) because they had already starting making my pizza. So I called and spoke to someone there at the store. He stated that the store had received the order and that it showed canceled. I told him what door dash read and he told me to come on in, theyd get started on the pizza and wed get it all figured out. Im thinking okay no problem he was very nice on the phone. This was all around 5-15pm I get there ask for my pizza and the manager(didnt catch his name and it wasnt who I spoke to) very loudly and rudely told me it was canceled. I explained what had happened and what i was told. His response was we can start making it but youll have to pay for it. I explained i had already paid for it and got a straight no from him. I told him it has already gotten charged to my account and received a no from him. Frustrated I paid yet again for my pizza and was told by the nice female worker quietly as if she didnt want him to hear for fear shed get in trouble or something that I could come back in and get refunded if it showed a double charge. I thanked her and waited for my pizza to be made that I was told on the phone that it already was being made but not had been. Got the pizza, went home and looked at my account and sure enough was charged double so for one family sized stuffed pizza and one thing of cookie dough cost me $50! Ridiculous ?

The cutest place! In an old house (my favorite) & cozy atmosphere. Not to mention fantastic service! We were pleased to have many vegan and vegetarian options available to us. The vegan burrito comes with cashew cheese and is ginormous! SO MANY VEGGIES! Also, I had never tried a hibiscus flower taco before which was very unique. ? Oh, and it's not pictured here but the tortilla soup is excellent! You can tell all of the food is homemade, made to order, fresh & high quality. We loved our experience here and will definitely be back! ?

Maybe you cant pronounce the name of this place, I cant, but dont let that stop you from checking it out. Its an authentic Italian restaurant and deli using only fresh veggies and Amazing, can I say that again? Amazing meats and cheeses with names I cant say, but even a simple cheese like asiago, takes on an amazing taste when its aged from Italy. The staff- they know their stuff. Tell them what youre craving and they can whip up something off their genuine Italian menu thatll satisfy the most complex of taste pallets. As if that was not enough, they serve gelato. No, not ice cream but true gelato that is sweet and the tastes explode upon your first spoonful. My favourite is the hazelnut flavor, Nilocce or something like that, just ask for the hazelnut one. The price may be a little high, but when you taste the food, youll know its money well spent. This is my favourite restaurant Ive tried thus far in Grass Valley. With not a lot of atmosphere to speak of it still creates a intimate feeling that its you, your date, and a good meal, nothing else in the world. A perfect date night spot.

I dont want to blast a place over a bad experience, but I would like to offer some thoughts (and I would not recommend Katrinas to anyone).It says on the door to go inside and check with host. There is no identifying signage of where this is, so I went to the register area. 3 people who worked there actively ignored us for about 4 minutes. Finally, someone asked what I needed.The ambiance is a TIGHT fit and inside is noisy, but thats ok. The outside was nice, spacious, and quiet. We ended up inside, but that was ok. Plenty of cafes are cozy and noisy.But then we waited...and waited...well over 20 minutes, while the server acknowledged us enough to say shed be right with us, but then proceeded to make small talk and laughed with 2 other tables...for a ridiculous amount of time. We ended up leaving without so much as receiving waters.Its a bummer, because weve heard good things about the food...but we will not be back. We ended up at Awful Annies, got drinks immediately and our food well before 20 minutes. Drinks and food in less time than Katrinas could even ask us if wed like waters. And the drinks and food at Awful Annies was sooooo yummy!

Its very a very good Italian restaurant in Grass Valley it really has that old world Italian flavours and the setting has a pleasant mix, the waiters are well dressed and professional the menu has a wide variety of great Italian dishes homemade pasta and all the dishes are of a 4 star rating and atmosphere is very relaxed you could dress up a bit and you could go in a more relaxed causel look and not change the ambiance it fits both, There winelist is also of 4 star calibur yet it honey fell make it comfy and cozzie while you enjoy the tantalizing aurdreves and the homemade garlic bread then comes your meal you can ask if choose to have the salad before or after if you like I like the salad after with a oil and vinegar dressing it helps digest and also keeping the acid reflex from sneaking up on you because youll want to eat every bit . What do I think Ill be a regular 4stars in the upper ratings for great and worthy places to enjoy a home cooked meal definitely worthy. I love the food and the the people that work to make it a special place to be the food just like my Noni from the old country home made Italian dishes and the ambience is delishous just like the meal youll eat it feels so much like its just like it would be in Italy youll almost feel like your in a the old country about to have a home cooked meal by my Noni and I know youll remember the flavours and the taste cause youll never want to forget what real Italian cooking taste like it will be your go to standard to compare to other italian restaurants and youll feel youve been spoiled buy your Noni it doesnt get much better than this eat drink and loosen that belt s couple of notches so you dont miss the dessert ever thing is so delicious you want to take an order extra home so youll have left overs when you get home .
