TAP Thai Cuisine

**Tap Thai Restaurant Review****Ordered Items:** Thai Iced Tea, Veg Corn Cake, Pineapple Rice, and Tap Signature Pad Thai.**Review:**Our recent visit to Tap Thai was a delightful experience with a few minor hiccups. Heres a breakdown of our meal:**Thai Iced Tea:** The tea was stronger than we anticipated, which may appeal to some, but it was slightly overpowering for our taste. Fortunately, our server was attentive and promptly provided us with sweetener, which helped balance the flavor.**Pineapple Rice:** This dish was a highlight of our meal. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the sweetness of the pineapple complemented the savory elements beautifully. It was well-seasoned and offered a satisfying mix of textures and flavors.**Tap Signature Pad Thai:** Another standout dish, the Tap Signature Pad Thai was flavorful and expertly prepared. The noodles were tender, and the sauce was a harmonious blend of sweet, tangy, and savory notes. This dish is definitely a must-try for anyone visiting Tap Thai.**Veg Corn Cake:** While the corn cake had a pleasant taste, it was a bit too oily for our liking. Additionally, the portion size was small, with only two pieces per serving, making it suitable for just one person. It would be great if the portion size was larger or if the dish was less greasy.**Service:** The service was commendable. Our server was attentive and accommodating, especially when it came to adjusting the sweetness of our Thai iced tea.**Overall:** Tap Thai offers a range of delicious dishes that are well worth trying, with the pineapple rice and Tap Signature Pad Thai being the stars of our meal. With a few tweaks to the veg corn cake, it could elevate the dining experience even further. The friendly and responsive service added to the positive experience, making us look forward to our next visit.

Papa Murphys
1740 Airline Hwy Ste. #405, Hollister, CA 95023, United States
Tried P. MURPHYS once and it was just ok, very lazy effort with the pizza. Tried to give a second chance today and it was NOT good. 1. Waited past my pick up time (pizzas werent ready after 40 minutes). I wasnt happy about it but let it pass, then.. 2. She gave me my pizzas and one had a long black hair on it right underneath the wrapping. I handed it right back to her and she just pulled the hair out and gave it back to me. Totally unsanitary and absoloutely unacceptable. I walked out and immediately tossed it in the trash. Major strike 3. Waited 40 minutes for a take and bake, no hair nets, improper food sanitation practices and customer service. There was no apology for anything. My god, how does this location stay in business like this? It cost me money, time, fuel, effort and my appetite. Wonder what the health dept thinks of this. Eat here at your own risk.

I don't recommend this place at all. The food quality is ok. The place is small and feels very overcrowded. It doesn't look clean at all . I have issues with the workers here. I don't like being lied to and that is my main issue. The issue happened back in October of 2023. I had told the cashier I need to split the bill into two forms of payment. I was charged for the full amount on the first credit card I used and I immediately asked for a refund and to redo the transaction. The cashier was confused what to do and someone else stepped in. We discussed the issue for about a minute and it appeared he did not want to deal with the issue so he then allegedly told me the food was going to be free and he was just going to issue a refund. I insisted I wanted to pay but he ensured me to not worry about it. I was with a colleague of mine and he left a very generous tip of over 10$. We are now 2 months later and I never received that refund. I was clearly lied to and I did multiple inquiries on the habit listens and I never got a reply back from any manager. I went back to the store two weeks later and I spoke to the leader on duty. I was told by her that she was going to speak to manager and have manager reach out to me. I even reached out to corporate phone number and no reply either.

Valentinos Take n Bake Pizza & Sub Sandwich Del...

Just posting to pass a message over to the owner or manager.. love the food. Called tonight at 6:47pm to order a sandwich for dinner as I was just getting off work 4 minutes away from the store. Whoever answered the phone was abnormally rude about the time.. said he wasnt taking anymore orders so I was asking why because they close at 7pm. He said they could still make sandwiches and I said ok great, thats what I was ordering. This is when he got rude. He said if I wasnt there right at 7, you wont get your food.. then I explained I was 4 minutes away and this was at 6:49pm. Then he interrupted me and said lets hurry this up so we can get this over with.... wow. So I said dont worry about it and decided not to order. Really uncalled for. I get not wanting to stay late at work but this wasnt that type of situation. I would have had my sandwich in hand and been driving home before the clock hit 7pm. Its 7:06pm right now and I had time to make that call, drive home and write this review all just 6 minutes after you closed ?‍♂️. Pretty poor service tonight.

Knocking them down again a point as the menu items can leave a bit to be desired. Its hit or miss which I dont like. Sometimes delicious but sometimes a waste of money. Had a Carne toast with egg that was unpalatable due to unripe tomatoes, very crispy and the centers were so hard and tough you could break a tooth! I had to throw it out. The brownies are not as good as they used to be, more like cake with little flavor, will no longer get these as a treat. Just dont know. Have had sandwiches, including bagle options thrown together that were soggy and watery. Seemed to have not very fresh ingredients.Hope this shop gets back to being special.Coffee is good but little to no caffine boost.Friendly staff and great service.....Am knocking them down one point today, new staff and for some reason twice now have had trouble with their coffee drinks, not sure why.. subpar twice in a row.. Also was sure their lox deluxe had something extra on it, but seems Im wrong? Couldnt find a menu so I could check that.Hope will be back up to 5 stars a bit later. This place changes from time to time but overall is excellent. The staff is kindly, attentive and they make sure you have what you want, if not they will correct it.My standby place for their tomato, avocado toast which is the best Ive had anywhere. Also love their bagel sandwiches and spreads, actually everything is good here.My one complaint is that at times their expresso makes me wonder just how low the caffeine content is. Tastes lovely but I want it to wake me up too.

Kyles Kitchen

Meh. Burger was OK.No discernable menu when you walk in. You have to walk to the counter to grab a menu.I asked the cashier how large the burger Patties were; he said this big (showing the thickness with his index finger & thumb)Asked him how many ounces, he said I dont know, laughed & just stood there. I asked if he could go ask someone. Out of 7 people standing behind the counter, no one knew. One gal grabbed a menu, looked it over for a minute, and finally said if you get two Patties, its 1/2lb......but didnt know how much each patty was.I had the Klassic Kyle burger, and it was decent. I tried the Half & Half fries & onion straws. Fries were actually pretty good. Onion straws are VERY thin & quite greasy. If I come back, I may try the Chicken sandwiches.

Terrible service! We came on a Sunday morning for breakfast. We arrive around 10:40 and was told there would be a 25 min wait for a table for 2. No problem! They took us in to be seated 15 min later - ahead of schedule... great! Someone came by as soon as we were seated to take our drink order. Seems like a great experience so far, right? We thought so too. But then it all went downhill. We waited around 20 minutes for our server to take our order and when he finally came by, we exchanged pleasantries and then he made some comment about having just eaten and how hes all full now. You dont say that to hungry customers that have been waiting for more than 20 min to order. I understand that servers need breaks, but maybe dont seat customers in that section until he returns or have someone cover for him. I ordered pancakes (combo with 1 egg and bacon) and my sister order French toast with Nutella and fruit. Our food didnt come until 11:40. That is 45 minutes after we were seated. And there were just two of us. When the server dropped off the food, he made a comment about almost forgetting it. I honestly wonder if he was high. He called the butter we didnt use ice cream and said it was the best part. WHe was just weird. The pancakes were good, but the rest of the food was slightly cold and nothing to write home about. I am giving 2 stars for the guy who took our drink order and also cleared some of our plates. He was also great about refilling my water glass.I wont be back.

La Guerrerita Mexican Food
5698 Hollister Ave, Goleta, CA 93117, United States
I had booked this restaurant for a corporate event. We arranged tacos for 65 people. They quoted me a price and we paid. When the event came, the owner showed up with all the food already prepared. The food was good and everything looked nice. Things started going sideways at the end when the owner informed me that we owed more money because there were more people than what we paid for. I questioned him about this because there was a lot of food still left and there was no way for me to prove anything since so many people had already left. The owner informed me that they brought extra. So why would you bring extra when we paid for 65? This makes it appear that they brought the extra food with the anticipation of charging me and my company more. This is just bad business, especially when you already quoted someone AND you still have a ton of food left. Going forward, my company and I will not be using this restaurant for ANY event in the future!

I ordered a pizza for delivery last night and gave the girl taking my order my phone number. She was able to pull me up and called me by name over the phone. I placed my order and was told my order would be delivered in 25 to 30 minutes. When I did not receive it after an hour and 15 minutes I called to find out when it would be delivered. I was told by the boy that answered that my order had been switched to pick up and it was waiting for me. I told him that I never switched it how could that have happened, to which he indicated someone must have called back to change the order. He then told me he switched it back and would have the driver bring it as soon as he returned from another delivery. I asked him to please hurry as we had now been waiting for about 120 minutes. About 10 minutes later I receive a phone call from them saying they could not find my address when they typed it in for directions. At that point I handed my husband the phone, so he could give the driver directions. I heard him say thank you and hang up the phone. They told him at that point we were out of range for a delivery as its a 5 mile delivery radius and we were 7.5 miles away (they have delivered to us in the past). I called back and the same boy indicated the owner said it could not be delivered and there was nothing he could do. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will never order from this restaurant again.Response to owners response: The cashier took my address, and was full aware that it was a delivery, why else would she need my address? It is possible that once she hung up she realized it was out of your delivery range, but nobody called back to inform me of this. I thought the 25-30 time frame was a bit unrealistic, so that is why I waited over an hour before calling to find out when my delivery would arrive. It was at that time i was told it was switched to pick up and that someone must have called to change it. Obviously not the case. While I appreciate your being short drivers, quite frankly 2.5 additional miles would not be a huge difference in time, or temperature of a pizza. Not to mention the order was not refused, it was simply not delivered. As a result, my family waited over an 1 1/2 hours for dinner and were then told it was not coming. As a business owner, I would have gotten in the car and delivered the pizza myself after making a customer wait that long for a delivery, not inform them they would not be getting it at all. Happy Holidays to you, but I am sorry to say I will not be visiting your establishment in the future.

I stopped on the home with my wife, we both like BBQ so we thought wed stop and share the tri-tip sandwich. We order the 8oz The Rancher $15.95 with mushrooms some Onion Rings and a side of Jalapeño. I wish I would have asked for sides of raw onions and pickles, I will next time because we are definitely going back. They cut the sandwich in half. It was a Harty sandwich lots of meat, great flavor, great bread which is important to my sandwich and tender meat. The onion rings were huge and very good and great tasting batter, crispy and fresh. Definitely 2 thumbs up! I was happy to see indoor seating and outdoors with a beautiful outback seats in a beautiful garden like atmosphere, they have great brewed ice tea and lemon wedges, fountain and bottle sodas, lots of beer, local wine and liquor. I even saw some deviled eggs in the salad fridge. The store had a variety of provision. The service was Tops all and everyone with a smile. Very clean inside and outside. We loved the out door patio in the back of the restaurant.
