Lemonade Restaurant
987 Newport Center Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92660, United States
Unfortunately this lemonade is Hit or Miss. While I love the Texas BBQ Beef Brisket Bowl which is nice hearty chunks of Texas BBQ Beef Brisket layered on top of macaroni and cheese with Collard steamed greens although I dont think there are mustard greens or collard greens I think they are just a more robust leafy version spinach and butternut squash cubes, it was a hit when the butternut squash cubes were served warm and then the entire dish was warm and it was an absolute disaster when they decided to put cold butternut squash cubes on top of my BBQ Beef Brisket and warm mac and cheese. Could someone please explain to me why someone will put a cold vegetable in a bowl on top of all of the rest of it being hot food in particular when its a vegetable thats always served warm. Ive almost never had cold butternut squash, sure theres that occasional salad but bear in mind this was an actual BBQ Beef Brisket ball. That being said they have excellent mint lemonade and horrible blueberry juice. Their newest drink is a mix of the two, I highly advise against mixing the blueberry juice with lemonade.

Very cute and very clean place with bowls that look exactly how they do on Instagram. The owner was suuuuuper inviting, friendly, and informative. The vial was a large portion, and everything was very fresh. One of the best tasting bowls I've had in a long time. I ordered the Brazil bowl and was not disappointed. The juices are very tasty, too. Highly recommend.

Amazing restaurant with amazing food?Loved the fact that the portion sizes are appropriate and not huge. Left feeling full but not bloated. The Sunrise Bowl is the most fulfilling for vegetarians on the menu in my opinion. (Theres a little bit of everything in it!) The deserts are out of this world, especially the chocolate cake

Taco Bell
1400 West Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, CA 92663, United States
We visited Taco Bell in Newport Beach after returning from a whale watching excursion. We are vegetarians, so it can be challenging to find healthy and filling options. We looked far and wide on the Balboa peninsula, but ultimately settled on Taco Bell. Were not fast food people, and it took some convincing for my wife to agree. We ordered 2 black bean CrunchWrap supremes, 2 black bean chalupa supremes, and a black bean burrito for my son. We really enjoyed the CrunchWraps very much! They were indeed crunchy from the crispy folded tortilla, and it was filled with fresh crispy lettuce toward the top with black beans on the bottom. For less than $5 and 400 calories, two would be a great lunch option when youre really hungry. The chalupas were also tasty, but they were a bit drier than the CrunchWrap, which had more filling. The black bean burrito was squishy and the beans oozed out the top and bottom. My son didnt finish it, even though he was hungry. I should have gotten him a CrunchWrap, too.Whether youre a vegetarian or not, I think youll enjoy the black bean CrunchWrap supreme at Taco Bell.

Overall: 3.6/5 (dine in)This is a small storefront thats street facing so it might be hard to find parking right in front. I was surprised when I got there because I thought it was a sit down restaurant but the set up is really for take out/delivery. They have bars & stools along the side of the walls but at max, the restaurant can only seat 8-10 people. Customer service is good here though.Pork Belly Bun Slider ($5.95): Better than the grilled pork slider but was just okay.Grilled Pork Bun Slider ($5.75): The grilled pork was very dry.For both sliders, they gave a lot of carrots which I liked but they were lacking all the Vietnamese flavors. The buns were soft though.420 Downtowner Special ($10.25): We were both so disappointed when we tried this. The presentation was nice but the taste was mid. The green colored rice and the shredded chicken were bland. The pork on top was a bit less dry than the one in the bun and was the only thing with flavor.Nam Nam Wings (5 Wings For $7.95): The wings were the best item of the night. They were crispy and tasty.

We went in for the mangonada that was pictured on the window, but was told the person who makes it wasnt there so we ordered a few boba drinks and a mango shake. Everything was very good, but pricey. My daughter wasnt a fan of the boba in her drink so that was a waste, but everything else was very delicious. The bathroom wasnt operable so that was inconvenient to have to walk to the end of the pier to use the restroom. Gave it a four star because it was so pricey and service was slow. It took a while to get our order and we were the only ones in there.

Taco Bell

Typically this location does a great job, however I had a relatively poor experience. We ordered 3, $5 boxes with the Cantina ? ??! All 3 tacos were broken and each comes with the rare avocado sauce, they only put one packet! I called to converse with the manager, he sounded like he was in high school. I politely asked his name before the conversation began to tell him they typically do a great job, he kept asking my name first, like adolescent in high school playing games. I said are you serious, this is the type of customer service you provide sir? He said his name is JUSTIN! Justin seemed very disinterested like this is a regular thing that he does to customers, and he dislikes his job. He kept asking what time I came in, it was approximately 730pm. After I politely conveyed my experience, he offered a full refund, I said thank you very much I really appreciate it! Then he gave me an internal phone number that I called and the person on the line indicated it was the wrong number and this is for Taco Bell employees from their restaurant to call. Then he provided the correct number. I called the number and was on hold for over 10 minutes, and hung up. It really wasn't worth the time to get a $19 refund. LET ME JUST SAY ITS RELATIVELY POOR ATTITUDE RESTAURANT MANAGERS LIKE THIS, THAT MAKE CUSTOMERS GO TO A DIFFERENT BRAND OF RESTAURANTS.

Would have loved it but felt the discrimination immediately. I am a young black woman came here dressed normally, had braids at the time, and came with my friend. We ordered what we wanted and the girl working the day immediately asked if we were taking it to go as though she did not want me in particular to stay and enjoy my drink there as I dont fit the typical Newport beach look. And, said we were eating/drinking indoors/for here she looked super disappointed *why am I not surprised*. And, the cherry on top this other customer took it upon herself when I was seated with my friend to break her neck to stare at me like bending her back to look over her partner for over 5 minutes straight even when caught she continued. No one in the shop did anything just let the behavior continue. Honestly, would not be back, and would not recommend it as a POC friendly establishment.

I go to nektar for my immunity shots, I was a regular visitor during pandemic times, I guess I should start again because it's a bit time consuming to make immunity shots at home ( sometimes I am out turmeric or something else ) but ordering online and picking up in store is easy peasy as they say, after all one should never compromise on health
