Pita Grill
3070 W Chapman Ave B, Orange, CA 92868, United States
I expect more. i am eating it now, but really have to write a review. its a good, clean, quick service place. i bought mixed plate- the one that they shaved the meat off the grill.salad is way too salty, lamb or meat is moderately salty or just fine (although i/m not sure i got both lamb and meat, maybe just one) but the chicken is waayyy too DRY. i have eaten a lot of this shaved meat/chicken across the world, but this is the first time im getting a very dry one. i think they would do a better job if they fix these- the dryness and saltiness. the customers can always put salt later by themselves, but it cant be undone if theyre salty from the beginning.taste wise - so so. nothing new. although i lovee the garlic sauce.

The Henry
1031 Orange Ave, Coronado, CA 92118, United States
This place has gone down hill. Rude hostess, stoned out of his mind waiter, and dirty bathroom.1. The hostess was beyond rude. I added my name to the wait list and was told it would be 30 - 40 mins. 2 adults and 2 kids.Sat on the bench right outside and watched the hostess immediately seat multiple parties of four that walked up after us. I was close enough to hear that these people didnt have a reservation. Multiple tables were open and could be easily seen from the hostess stand. I watched the hostess even set parties of 2 that came well after us at 4+ top tables... after 40 mins I asked how much longer it would be and was told by the same hostess I would get a text when the table came available. I said how much longer.. I have two young boys and want to make a judgment call whether or not I needed to go somewhere else.. she looked at me and said, you probably should.. this is the Henry... not McDondalds... she immediately turned and disappeared into the resturant. As I turned to tell my wife what just happened the other hostess appeared and called my name. I decided to stay and not judge the entire experience based on a teenage girl working the hostess desk....bad move... didnt catch the rude ones name. Very short, long blonde hair, young around 19 -- 20ish, and was wearing an all white dress.2. The waiter.... I will keep this one short. The guy was so high... my son asked me what was wrong with him and what the smell was after he left our table. I am cool with folks smoking. It isnt illegal but to get as bent as this guy was and no one at your work says anything... speaks volumes about the management or lack thereof. He wasnt rude per say but he reaked of skunk weed and my wife and I had to repeat ourselves 2-3 times. After he walked away my wife looked at me and said.. no way that guy is going to get our order right.. several minutes later he stops by the table to drop off a beer and some sodas... he sat the beer down in front of my son... 5 years old.... I immediately picked it up and handed it back to him and said we didnt order beer and my son is 5 dude lol. He stood there looking dazed and confused... fast forward and we eventually got our food etc.. short ribs were cold and my sons food had a hair in it, potsickers were cold as well. The crusty bread and pesto was good though.. Cant remember the guys name but I overheard him tell the table next to us the he was new and had only been there a short time. Taller guy... black hair pulled back into a short ponytail...3. Went to take my boy to the restroom and found it in a disgusting state. Clearly a drunk had pissed on the floor... the stall was filthy... it was one of those father son moments where you tell him not to touch anything...The check came and was dropped off without even a thanks for coming in.I will take this story back to my staff as an example of how not to conduct business. Lets face it, the economy sucks, and everything is wayyyy over inflated... people have choices of where they dine out... to be presented with the experience we had... not worth the money.. Its not worth my time...Sad to see this on the island. We have a summer home a stones throw away and have been coming to the island for 3 generations now.. by far...... the worst run business on the island. Used to not be this way. When you first opened it, it was excellent all around.

Grabbagreen Food Juice
763 S Main St #200B, Orange, CA 92868, United States
The first I came, i wasn't too impressed with my food. The staff were friendly and explained their menu, the restaurant was clean, and the food was fresh. I wanted to give it a second try since it's so close to my work and something told me to go back. My second visit definitely redeemed this place! I joined the rewards program and will most likely be returning on my lunch breaks.First try: French Quarter Grain bowl-rice very bland-red onions very overwhelming-for $11 I thought it would be a lot bigger and planned to keep it for leftovers. It was a lot smaller than expected, but I still finished and felt full.Second try: On the Border Green Bowl-lots of flavor-this bowl seemed bigger than the grain bowl, and I ended up saving half for later. Same price as the grain bowl. They offer bowls (create your own in available), breakfast, smoothies, juices, soups, and a kids menu (they even have a little kids table which is so cute). Indoor and outdoor seating available. A grab & go refrigerator is loaded with water, juices, snacks, and fruit. Definitely recommend!!

Green Tomato Grill

Great place for healthy food, vegans, and vegetarians. I tried the blueberry waffle, chickpea curry, and jalapeno mandarin lemonade. The waffle and curry were both vegan and delicious. The lemonade was refreshing but I couldnt taste the jalapeno or mandarin. My friend tried the teriyaki bowl and said it was good. The prices are standard for a healthy restaurant, and it was clean.

Brew Hawg BBQ & Root Beer Co.
665 N Tustin St suite j, Orange, CA 92867, United States
From the street, Brew Hawg is hard to notice and you could easily drive past it and not even know that BBQ could be found in the little business strip. The place is located back from the street and the parking lot; without much signage, even when youre standing in fron of it, youre not sure.Out in front of the restaurant, there are a few tables for dining and relaxing outside. Once inside, there are a few table scattered in front of the walk up, counter service. The menu is comprised primarily of sandwich plates and meat plates. My wife and I decided on the sandwiches and chose to give the brisket a try. The meat plates with two meat choices seemed like a lot of food for lunch. We were looking for a meat plate with just one BBQ choice, but it wasnt on the board. The staff was friendly and was helpful in describing the menu choices. She was also provided excellent service offering refills and servicing our table. The brisket sandwhiches were amazing. Good hunks of smokey BBQ flavor. The combination of the tart cranberry slaw and the brisket was delicious. Based on just the meats, Brew Hawg would rate another star higher. I really wanted to give this place a higher review, but the side dish was a bit of a disappointment. The rather small helping of garlic mash was a bit bland, with the consistency of instant mash potatoes. A strange after taste followed each mouthful. My wife ordered the coconut creme corn. The corn looked like the soft consistency of canned corn and looked a bit watery. As a do over, Id pick beans, fries or potato salad next time. I was a bit disappointed with the rootbeer. I found it unflavorful and a bit dilluted. After having one, it isnt something Id look forward to ordering again.Competition is tough because there are lots of restaurants in the area for BBQ. Improvement could be made by offering a single meat place and excelling at fewer flavorful sides to improve the quality and overall experience of the meal.

Flavor of India Burbank
161 E Orange Grove Ave, Burbank, CA 91502, United States
Love this restaurant! Great location, comfortable and beautiful interior, and friendly staff. Most importantly, the food is DELICIOUS! The dinner entree prices are a bit steep, but I highly recommend the lunch buffet! $12.95 (I believe) for amazing quality food, with great vegetarian options. I love the naan and the samosas especially. Definitely recommend! :)

Taco Bell

Title: Impressive Service and Consistent Quality at Taco Bell, Orange, CAI recently found myself at Taco Bell in Orange, CA during a brief and unplanned pit stop, and I couldnt have been more pleased with the experience.Right from my entry, I was met with a warm greeting and a smooth ordering process via their kiosk. I appreciated the staff member providing me with the restroom code swiftly, making my short visit even more seamless. The restroom cleanliness was a pleasant surprise, displaying a high standard of maintenance that is always appreciated, yet often overlooked.Emerging from the restroom, my food was already prepared and ready to go, reflecting the efficiency of their service. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail from the server who double-checked my order, a simple chicken crunch wrap. His attentiveness extended to asking about my sauce preference twice, ensuring that my meal was exactly how I wanted it.As for the food, my first encounter with the chicken crunch wrap was a delight. It was good and would get again for sure. While the food quality was on par with other locations, it was the exemplary service that set this Taco Bell apart. I would certainly return for another visit when Im in the area. The dedication to customer satisfaction and attention to detail at this Taco Bell location was truly commendable.

Pieology Pizzeria Redlands
623 Orange St, Redlands, CA 92374, United States
Pizza options are good. AS of June 16, 2021 I feel Post Covid-19 cleaning protocols needs to be upped as I never see staff cleaning anything. This is a chain restaurant, but note:Only Gluten Free crust can be eaten by Vegans, the rest are only suitable for vegetarians. The gluten free crust is smaller in size.

Taco Bell
8548 E Chapman Ave, Orange, CA 92869, United States
I ordered a cheesy bean and rice burrito from the dollar craving menu. Half an hour later, I felt sick. I had food poisoning symptoms the whole night.  I vomited 4 times, had diarrhea and a severe headache. Never again.Follow up:Yesterday, a taco bell restaurant representative from this location called me saying that they would make it right by giving me a free same $1.00 burrito next time I visit. Really? I spent who after in bed and missed entire Monday work just for a free burrito? Must be joking. That taco bell restaurant representative was not sincere to make things right. Please make sure your food is clean or more people will be sick from your food.If I could put a negative star for this place, I would.

Moes Deli & Catering 2

I stumbled upon Moes Deli 5 or 6 years ago, the original shop off of Lake Forest drive. Im a sandwich lover so I figured why not. Best decision I made! Got the Italian and enjoyed it til the last bite! Popped in 4 or 5 months ago after a long hiatus and Moe told me theyre opening a shop in GG (a stones throw from my house) Needless to say I was excited! I frequent the shop 2-4 times a month....the sandwiches are that good! I recommend everyone to try out Moes! Every sandwich Ive ordered has been spot on. Im stuck on the French dip because its the best For dip sandwich Ive eaten! Staff is always super friendly and make you feel part of the Moes family. Lets keep them around for as long as possible! Moes is doing it right!
