Papa Murphys Take N Bake Pizza
1751 Oro Dam Blvd E Suite 1, Oroville, CA 95966, United States
Very disappointed the last few times weve ordered from there. They are really starting to skimp on what they put on the pizza and they are even leaving some ingredients off. We ordered a chicago, and it was pitiful. They must have left off half if not more of the veggies and meat. I also got a salad like I do most times and it was almost all lettuce. And the bitter center part of the lettuce stalk. Had to move it around to find the veggies and there was no bacon on it at all. And yes, I had picked up the right salad. Staff are always loudly talking about what party the were going or went to, or talking about someone. Dont really think its the right time or place to do that when you have a line of customers standing 10 feet away.

First timer here. I decided to try after reading all the great reviews. Im so glad I stopped in today. This place is a gem!!! As soon as you open the door youre smacked in the face with the most tantalizing, mouth watering aroma. I was also greeted by a lovely woman, who was very nice and welcoming. I tried the apple beet ginger juice, oh man, absolutely delicious!!! My son whos annoyingly notorious for being a picky eater, devoured his food. He had jerk chicken, with Mac and cheese, and a side of baked beans. I had jerk chicken with a side salad, and steamed cabbage. My taste buds are still singing praises to this amazing place. I will most definitely be back!! Go try this place!!! Thank you for an awesome experience, and delicious, flavorsome food. 11/10
The Winchester Goose
824 Oroville Ave, Chico, CA 95928, United States
Chef Emily is one of best hidden secrets of Chico! Her menu is packed with delicious meals that you only find in high end restaurants & if your vegan or vegetarian, she has you in mind (I highly recommend her vegan sliders or the beet bruschetta). The staff is great and friendly and the Goose always has great beers on tap!
The Boss Burger
2482 Montgomery St, Oroville, CA 95965, United States
Ive been enjoying Boss Burgers for 35 yrs now. I was really surprised find negative reviews :0. In all these years, NEVER a bad experience. I like to make mine up at the condiment bar. Different dressings to choose from . Their house made BBQ /mayo is to DIE for. Like to get to dip fries in as well as their ranch. Its thick and creamy like it should be!Speaking of fries, they give you SO many, you have to be starving to finish all of them. They cook both your burger and fries to order. They are hot, and wonderful. I do agree with the person that posted not enough salt on the fries. So... I dont know, use the provided salt shakers??? A lot of people out there cant tolerate much salt. I can be inconvenienced by this, np. My Dad soon to be 87. He enjoys nothing more than coming up to visit and going to the Boss for the best burger hes ever eaten. I have to agree. Try them for sure, make up your own mind. : )
Jenns Caf
1905 Mitchell Ave, Oroville, CA 95966, United States
I tried them today for the first time in six years hoping that I was going to be leaving full and satisfied. That was not the case. The menu is confusing. Prices are high for the quality of food you get. I ordered a 2 bacon 2 eggs ? hashbrowns and biscuit AND gravy. At least thats what I thought I ordered from what the menu said. The menu states: 2 bacon OR sausage served WITH your choice of potatoes WITH one slice of toast or half a waffle or two slices French toast or a half biscuit AND gravy. The way I see this is I get four items. So when I asked for this breakfast I wasnt able to get a biscuit and gravy like it says, they said I had to add gravy for $1.50. So I chose a half waffle. When it came out there was two eggs, which I ordered over medium, two bacon and a half a waffle. Wheres the hashborwns? My bf got the same thing but with toast and he got four items. My eggs were not over medium they were over easy. Needless to say I paid $20 for food that I didnt like and Im still hungry because I did not eat my eggs only the bacon and half waffle. When I said my eggs were too runny and my boyfriends toast was just buttered bread we just got an ok no apology and when we left we were not acknowledged. The waitress was nice and personable and coffee was good. But we wont be back.
Righteous Burger
Oroville, CA 95966, United States
I eat here at least once a week. Adam, who owns the place is super friendly as are all of the staff (Destiny, Sky, Chrissy, etc.). They usually have my special order burger made for me by the time I make it to the end of the line. Simply the best burger anywhere-- Niman Ranch fresh beef, excellent bun, the highest quality lettuce in town, perfect onion (ask for it, it is not automatically included), perfect tomato, very nice high quality slice of pickle. Lots of specialty burger options, and excellent hot dogs too. Nice cesar salad (again, really high quality lettuce helps). I get my fries extra crispy, no salt-- best fries anywhere. Sweet potato fries are perfect too-- my wifes favorite. Perfectly brewed ice tea-- do yourself a favor and skip the usual fountain drinks and get the tea. My wife and I refer to Righteous Burger as Happy Happy, Yum, Yum, Yum. Not just the best burger in town-- really it is the best restaurant.
Tabletop Restaurant and Catering
109 Table Mountain Blvd, Oroville, CA 95966, United States
Its nice to see this location have a quality restaurant again. Good service, decent authentically home made food and comfortable atmosphere. This restaurant is the sum of its parts, while its not the very best diner food Ive had, and the aesthetics are dated, I found myself greatly enjoying my first experience at Tabletop. My server was very friendly and attentive, my order arrived much quicker than I expected and I was more than pleased with my homemade chicken fried steak. Its not your typical battered and deep fried diner offering, but rather hand breaded and fried on the grill. If you are like me and grew up on chicken fried steak made at home, this will surely be a great nostalgic experience. Very well executed - tender with a nice crunch. My home fries were amazing; red potato cubes, crispy and perfectly seasoned. And if you are a gravy coinnaseur, I challenge you to find fault with their country gravy. While the decor wasnt my favorite, it was very clean, and I found myself lingering after the meal and enjoying conversation and coffee. Something about this place is just comfortable and inviting. No question, the best diner in Oroville, and challenging for the title of best in Butte County.
Nori Asian Kitchen & Sushi
1445 Myers St, Oroville, CA 95965, United States
Food was outstanding. id like to spend more money here but the phone number listed is invalid so i cant order for pickup. they dont offer delivery which is by far the biggest loss for this place as they offer food other places dont and would run the local delivery market as the only establishment doing so with sushi especially. our walk in visit was awkward, no real host or hostess, we stood around not knowing if we just seat ourselves, finally someone seated us. we were at a table that was on a weak patch of floor, so everytime a person walked by our food and cocktails were rattling back and forth on our table substantially. none of that matters to me though, because the food was great, the bar and bartender, as well as the selection of top shelf spirits were excellent. one of the choices i tried to order from the lineup off the top shelf though i was told it was the owners unopened special bottle? ok, maybe put it on his/her desk instead of teasing customers who want a glass haha. were holding out for a phone number that works, and for ordering to go or for delivery. they would get our money weekly, and others as well. maybe they can get with union to figure out a website and delivery options through doordash. the menu online is 7 years old, and only a facebook page for any info on the place. it really needs some upselling and marketing help. i hope this place grows and thrives, tons of potential waiting to be ironed out here. i wish i was the manager the place would be hopping all the time. cheers to nori, thank you for the excellent food and spirits.
Feather Falls Brewing Company
3 Alverda Dr, Oroville, CA 95966, United States
Went for mothers day dinner and were pleasantly surprised that we didnt have to wait long for a table. Thats where the good part ends. We sat for 25+ minutes waiting for someone to come at least take a drink order but nobody came. When I realized we were nearing the 30 minute mark of waiting and the restaurant was due to close within about 15 more minutes, I went to the front and notified (nicely, im no Karen lol) a hostess that we hadnt seen a server yet. Was a little disappointed that not one of the frowny faced gals at the hostess stand/cash register offered any kind of apology or explanation. I guess they felt like its not their fault nor their job to make sure a server is notified when a table is seated. Or IS IT?! ?? Oh yeah, I forgot, it IS their job to do so and well, somebody dropped the ball. It happens sometimes though and while I fully realize it may not have been any fault of their own that we were forgotten, it would have been much nicer if they had extended an apology or were nice or even just cracked a smile. They just seem very off-putting to me which is why I waited so long to go up & inform them of the situation. Not a good look for the front of the house, IMHO. Just saying.Shortly after, a server came by who was MORE than apologetic and tried to offer up explanations for the mix up which was a far cry from the vibe given off by the front end staff. She (Miss Heaven) did her best to make us feel better about the situation and even though we decided to go ahead and eat at another establishment, she was super kind and understanding and tried to smooth things over for us. We left mainly because the items we intended to order were out of stock, not because of the hostess/server communication mix up. Towards that end, I would expect that such a popular establishment as this one would have the foresight to prepare extra of their most popular items on a busy holiday like mothers day (they apparently ran out of the items we wanted to order WAY earlier in the day and that seems to be a trend that occurs all too often here). I believe in second chances so we will certainly try again in another week or so and im hoping to be able to update this rating with 2 more stars to make 5.To the front end staff: please, I wish yall would smile! It is so much nicer to interact with someone who isnt sullen & looking like they cant be bothered with dealing with the customers.Edited to add: please give server Miss Heaven a raise. She made us all feel better and is the reason we will be returning to give The Feather Falls Brewery another try and the only reason I gave any stars on this review. Thank you ?
Vallarta Grill Restaurant
2100 5th Ave, Oroville, CA 95965, United States
Amazing food, good service, comfortable and casual atmosphere. Highly recommend the Michoacanas enchiladas! The chips and salsa are delicious, and the refried beans are absolutely perfect. My husband and I agree its our new favorite Mexican food restaurant.Update 9/2/22: We ordered same entrees to see if quality remained the same. Tonights dinner didnt live up to the first review. Too heavy on the onions in enchiladas, very little meat in husbands tacos. Overly generous portions of rice and beans to compensate for lack of meat? Childs meal for our grandson WAS okay and allowed for French fries instead of rice and beans with his taco. The childs chicken taco was really good. Servers were again good, and the margarita a lovely treat on a hot day. I cant advise to go out not go for a meal here, I can only say that literally based on our experience, youve a 50/50 chance...
