Garden India Restaurant Grocery
located in Sun Plaza, 672 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, United States
The best Indian food for very good price and the owners are really really nice ! I think is a family business and it's hard to find this type of no frills mom and pop shop with truly excellent Well priced food ! I'm not in Thousand Oaks very often but when I am, i have to go here and stock up ! Wide selection of all my favorites ! I can get enough excellent food to feed me for like a week without feeling like I'mCompletely splurging on takeout, and they really really appreciate their customers! Service can be slower then like a Chipotle style restaurants, it's a different type of place so don't be disappointed if you were looking for lunch in 5 minutes . Better to order larger quantities to take home . Seriously, get food here if you're in the area !
Pieology Pizzeria Thousand Oaks
205 N Moorpark Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, United States
I recently visited Pieology, the new pizza place in town, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of a disaster. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that the staff was completely clueless and lacked basic customer service skills.First and foremost, the employees were far from friendly. They seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged my presence. It felt like I was an inconvenience to them rather than a paying customer. Its disheartening when you enter a restaurant and are met with such apathy from the staff. Not only were they unfriendly, but they also mumbled their words and spoke so softly that it was nearly impossible to understand what they were saying. I had to constantly ask them to repeat themselves, and even then, it was a struggle to decipher their instructions. Its astonishing that in a customer-facing role, they didnt prioritize clear communication. To make matters worse, it seemed like the staff was completely confused about their own job responsibilities. They appeared untrained and unsure of how to handle even the simplest tasks. It took them an eternity to take my order, and they fumbled around with the ingredients as if they had never assembled a pizza before. The whole process was a chaotic mess, and it was evident that they lacked any semblance of organization or efficiency.Overall, my experience at Pieology was an absolute nightmare, thanks to the unhelpful, mumbling, and confused staff. I expected a pleasant dining experience, but instead, I was met with incompetence and indifference. I strongly advise others to think twice before visiting this establishment, as youll likely be met with the same disappointing service. There are plenty of other pizza places in town that value their customers and provide a much better experience
Grabbagreen Food Juice
593 N Moorpark Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, United States
This is an excellent place where vegans can share meals with vegetarians or meat eaters. Their bowls are made to your choice. You can choose your vegan protein - soy based chicken. They also offer some raw juices to add to your meal. I like that they have picnic tables around the outside for you to eat your food while being socially distant from others.I recommend getting the mango chili sauce on the side to add to your bowl. I also got 1/2 spinach and 1/2 quinoa for my base on the Southwestern bowl which made it more filling.Enjoy eating plant based.
sweetgreen
100 Promenade Way A, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362, United States
Been waiting all summer for sweetgreen to open! I went on the first day they opened and was very impressed by the staff and how great they were already :) I ordered takeout from their website and it was ready in only 10 minutes despite how busy they were with dine-in guests. The takeout is SO EASY because they have a pickup door you enter and the orders are right inside that door - I was in then out the door in less than a minute and had a lovely staff member still manage to greet me while working in the back. The food was delicious and I love that I can add rice to their fresh salads. Can't wait to have more!
Urban Plates
162 W Hillcrest Dr #100, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, United States
Healthy food, stellar options, lively environment and immaculate flavors. Urban plates never lets me down as a go to spot for food that fresh and filling. My go to is the chimichurri Grass Fed Steak with asparagus and roasted rainbow carrots/beats. I also ordered a side of wild caught Ahi just the protein while my friend ordered the sustainable salmon with asparagus and roasted rosemary potatoes. The steak comes medium easy to bite and filled with flavor and the ahi is always packed with savory flavors yet is never overwhelming. The ahi comes encrusted with a seasoning that combines with the softness of the meat and although it's cold envelops your mouth just as much as any other meat, chicken or fish. The asparagus is always cooked to perfection and lightly seasoned. The roasted carrots and beats are perfectly charred adding a warm smoky flavor yet still caramelized because of the sweetness of the beets. It's hard to mess up Salmon and potatoes so they were both also amazing. The prices are $10-$17 a plate but definitely worth it. To drink we got the freshly squeezed lemonade and cantaloupe pineapple mango were around $4-$5 but they offer free refills and are well worth it.
Taco Bell
1928 E Avenida De Los Arboles, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362, United States
We are vegetarians and we are used to not finding much to eat at traditional fast food restaurants. Taco Bell is different, however. They have many vegetarian options on their menu that are very tasty, if only moderately healthy. Our go-to order is a black bean crunchwrap supreme with a spicy potato taco on the side. We order a cheese quesadilla for my son. The crunchwraps are tasty and filling, and the spicy potato tacos act as a side dish.Taco Bell serves many items with cheese or beans or both, which meet our dietary needs.
Soom Soom Fresh Mediterranean Grill - Westlake ...
180 Promenade Way suite m, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362, United States
This is an excellent Mediterranean quick bites restaurant. The food is always extremely fresh, and as a vegetarian, I have only tried the falafel so far. They make the falafel fresh on the spot for you, which is great to see. The pita sandwich is excellent and you can also get a plate with pita bread on the side to get more food! The staff has always seemed very helpful and happy to answer questions. I just wish they would label all the different toppings so you know exactly whats in them. Update: 2 years later and still just as excellent!
Taco Bell
25 S Rancho Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, United States
This Taco Bell ignores people who go inside. Last two times I came in, it was early in the morning, no one was in the store, no cars in the drive thru. I order on the screen, order is in, and no one comes to make food. I can see 2 people working on organizing things, they can see me as well. I can hear 2 people talking where I cannot see them. I placed my order there are 4 staff and I am waiting, no one is making food. It is about 2 minutes later someone comes to the drive thru, now the staff start making food, they make the drive thru first my food waits. Two people are making food at the same time, my quesadilla is done but it waits as they finish off the drive thru. They finally put some of my order on a tray and leave on the counter. There is no drink, I look straight into the eyes of the worker drink I say making a drinking motion with my hand, she turns away back to the food line. I say louder, can I get my drink, the two people at the food line look at each other seemingly confused that a person would order a drink. Finally the older one says something and the younger one grabs my cup. At the drink station, no lids, fill my cup and go to a table. Look in the bag, no hashbrown, they realize that they forgot and drop 2 hashbrowns in a bag at the counter and yell hashbrowns. I dont want 2 hashbrowns, I want a little more professional work, care about the customers who come inside, make the orders correct. I dont want people to be overly energetic and happy 24/7 at this fast food job, I dont need a show, just minimum competency to fulfill orders. And enough decency to care about getting the basics right. I can hear them all talking, laughing, having a great time, just bring a little of that to the front and the customers. Also the go light on the food here they are not stuffing these quesadillas, thin quesadillas, and not very warm, just lukewarm. The best I can say about this Taco Bell is that it is here and it is open, but its not great, but then again what fast food is great...
The Impossible Shop
50 E Thousand Oaks Blvd Unit A, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, United States
One of the best vegan breakfast burritos around. The staff is friendly and attentive also. Id give it 5 stars if it opened at 8, the same time as Dog Haus opens because its in the same building and is I guess what is called a ghost kitchen.

TWISTED MEATS
520 N Ventu Park Rd STE 160, Thousand Oaks, CA 91320, United States
We were amazed and drawn to this restaurant when we just got off on Ventu Park Rd in Newbury Park. The outside pictures and design were a great start. Every person I interacted with at this restaurant was amiable & knowledgeable. We have a similar palette when it comes to the meal selection. We split each meal in half. These are the best custom kebab dishes I have ever tasted. I ordered the doner wrap. The protein was chicken, and I selected all the veggies. I got the vegan tahini sauce. She had the doner rice box. She ordered the beef and lamb and got all the veggies. Then, complete the entrée with the original sauce. Very fresh vegetables and condiments for their dishes. The meat cooks on a vertical rotisserie called a “donergrill.” It is the best tender and juicy meat. We will be returning customers. A thank you to the twisted meats family!
