Sierra Subs & Salad
41651 Sierra Dr, Three Rivers, CA 93271, United States
We stayed Three Rivers for two nights while we were visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. A quick look on Yelp told me this was the best place to eat. This place was so good, that we came back the second night we were here too. We didnt want to try anywhere else, we just wanted more sandwiches. We tried four sandwiches: the gourmet green, the Hollywood tremor, the wasabi stinger, and the hopper (special). We also got a side of their special kale pumpkin seed salad. All of the sandwiches were so good I dont know if I could pick a favorite. The spreads were my favorite part. They were some of the best sandwiches Ive ever had.Theres no indoor seating, but a lovely outdoor seating area. We enjoyed sitting outside at the picnic tables by the river. The service was awesome. They were incredibly friendly and brought our sandwiches outside to us when they were ready.I wasnt expecting much for a small town in the middle of no where (especially coming from Yosemite where theres no good food), but this place blew me away.If youre anywhere around here, you definitely should try it!

Tonys Taverna On Wheels
42264 Sierra Dr, Three Rivers, CA 93271, United States
Tony’s Taverna is currently on wheels while they complete construction on their restaurant down the road, opening sometime in 2024. Its location at the Three Rivers Historical Museum allows for plenty of parking, clean public restrooms and lots of outdoor seating with Greek music playing in the background. The owners are friendly and kind and the food is absolutely delicious! They offer authentic Greek cuisine along with local favorites such as their infamous Smashburger and fries, plus plenty of vegetarian options.
Quesadilla Gorilla
41119 Sierra Dr, Three Rivers, CA 93271, United States
Wonderful place for quick bite. Its portion was handsome. Obviously sauce makes huge difference. Avocado salsa is quiet sour. Far from what guacamole should be (you can get from Costco). So try anything else if you like different taste. Also, itd be worth mentioning food is quiet oily. Yeah that should not be measured for such food place :). With chips and salsa, you get to choose upto 3 salsas. Around COVID time, they themselves follow good practice. At least when we visited, it was CARD only. One thing that steals a star - how they play mind game. Your total is X, would you like to tip us today is told out very loud. Y Dollars, sure, we appreciate, again loud! What would you do?? Keep in mind it is not mandatory. The place itself is bit pricey for quesadillas. Yeah, I would go there again!
Sequoia Coffee Co.
41669 Sierra Dr, Three Rivers, CA 93271, United States
Cute corner coffee place. They have a window where you go place your order and then wait around to get your to-gos.There is nice seating area just next to the restaurant equipped with a couple of tables and chair. You can choose to sit and enjoy your food or get the to-gos and be on your way.Coming to food, this place has quite a few vegetarian options. We had Avocado toast and bagel veggie sandwich. The food was good. The hot chocolate was my least favourite.I felt like I was drinking chocolate syrup.
Lodgepole Campground
47050 Generals Hwy, Three Rivers, CA 93271, United States
Wow this place definitely earned 5 stars from myself my husband and the rest of the family. Thank you again for Yelp for helping me find the perfect site for our camping needs. Originally I had reserved site 101 but then I cancelled and when I went back to reserve it, it had already been taken... so I was able to look on the site map and read other reviews to see what would be a great location to stay at, and site 134 was highly recommended. Boy did we make the right choice...first off 101 does have a great view and location next to the creek, but its more or less ideal for just a couple trying to get away with not as much space as 134 had. We had so much more room to roam around in at 134 and theres a lot of extra space for additional tents for a larger group. It was nice to be able to cross over the rocks and have a little secluded area along the creek to relax and get your feet wet.The only downside is the store charges a lot more than other campsites that we have been too for just a few pieces of wood so next year when we head up were going to bring an axe so that way we can get some extra firewood on our own without having to pay 11 bucks for a box of 6 pieces of wood, lol. Any recommendation for future Camp goers that want to stay at Lodgepole, you definitely need to reserve a spot at least a week to two weeks in advance and it is nice and convenient to do this all online instead of driving up and realizing theyre completely full! But if you dont get to select the location or site online and you get lucky to have a spot... the entire Campground is just extremely well cared for, and gorgeous all around. I look forward to next year camping at this same Campground!!!
Ol Buckaroo
41695 Sierra Dr, Three Rivers, CA 93271, United States
This restaurant had the best reviews on Yelp so my girlfriend and I decided to try it following our sequoia adventures. Its located in the small town of Three Rivers just 15 minutes outside of the Sequoia National Park entrance off highway 198. Its next to a famous subs shop and a coffee shop with plenty of parking outside. Walked in at around 7 P.M. and requested to be seated outside. The host walked us to the back of the restaurant which looked like someones backyard. There were string lights connected from a series of trees giving you the calm woods like ambiance next to the river. It was uniquely well decorated. We decided to order vietnamese wings, waffle fries, brandt farm skirt steak, and two glasses of wine. While waiting, we had an artist perform a live acoustic guitar set for the crowd. This was a nice addition to our dinner date. Good music, ambiance, and hopefully good food. Beware of flying insects if you sit outside. There was quite a bit of flies around the tables. We had waited about 40 minutes until our food finally arrived. The vietnamese wings were nicely cooked, crispy, and lightly flavored. The waffle fries came with a herbed aioli which is what you could expect. Nothing too special. Our last entree the skirt steak was amazing though! Crispy smashed potatoes, buckaroo chimichurri, and a well seasoned steak. This plate overall had an explosion of flavor. Very tender skirt steak complimented by the creamy sauce laying beneath the potatoes. I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The only issue was how long it took to get our food. I had noticed only two cooks in the kitchen as I walking out.
Totem Market & Gifts
45186 Sierra Dr, Three Rivers, CA 93271, United States
Had to rent snow chains to enter the park and they were vastly overpriced, 1 day renting cost is about the same price as buying new ones at an auto parts store. The chains they gave me were so old and rusty that when I had to put them on in the park I didnt even trust using them. They looked like they would fall off at any moment, even though I put them on correctly, which would have caused major damage to my car so I drove without them. I also have reason to believe they tried stealing my card info. My first card didnt go through because it only had a few dollars on it which I didnt know, second card went through fine. I have text notifications for transactions on the first card and I just got a notification that a transaction for $9.99 was just attempted and denied on the first card. This was the only place that I had used this card at in months, and the only other time I have ever used the card was at an ATM at a Bank of America to withdraw money months ago. So unless the Bank of America stole it and tried to use it, it was this likely this store. I am now watching activity on my second card.
River View Grill & Bar

Went here for Mothers day . We had gone here before for Fathers day so we knew what to expect, but after we sat down and ordered our drinks..we found out that they only had a couple of things on the menu. She said it was advertised online, but it wasnt. We traveled from Tulare and got there an hour early to get a good table. And waited in line for an hour and a half. But I was disappointed to find out the menu was limited. I didnt like what they were serving. So instead of getting up and leaving. We ordered almost all their Appetizers. Which were ok...not great. Onion Rings were small and greasy, there was only about 4 small Mozzarella Sticks, the Curly Fries were mostly bits & Pieces and the Boneless Chicken Wings were ok. I loved the Sweet Potato Fries and the Cherry Lemonade.Oh and our view was great. Wont be going there for Mothers day or Fathers day if they do that limited menu again. This was our experience this passed Mothers day 2023.
