Pho Oceanside
518 Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside, CA 92054, United States
Very decent Vietnamese restaurant here in Oceanside. The raw beef Pho was very delicious (although nothing compares to my own 12 hour recipe). I would love to return here again and try something else (perhaps the tripe or a noodle dish). The large size Pho is exactly that: Large. Too large for this single diner, and not a dish that is economical to take home in a doggy bag. I would go with the regular size unless you are extremely hungry and love rice noodles (lots of noodles in the Pho). The only downfall was the service. Not horrible, but not attentive either. We had to ask multiple times for napkins, silverware, etc. Not unfriendly but also not friendly/inviting by any means. Fix the service and this place would be 5 star.

Beautiful Vietnamese cuisine! A lot of Vietnamese restaurants, particularly in San Diego and Orange counties, serve great food, but this is one of those few that are really on top of their game and just do it better. Its the whole package, from the variety of menu options, efficient service, clean and cozy restaurant, exceptional ingredients, and delicious food. Vietnamese cuisine is my favorite, but this restaurant is a must for anyone!
Pho Bowl and Grill

I got take out from this restaurant and the food was very delicious. I had the broken rice special combo, it was my first time trying Vietnamese food and I was not disappointed. The service was really good and they were really nice. I would definitely recommend this play for people looking to try new food, and I will definitely go there again.
Annam Pho & Sandwiches
3809 Plaza Dr #115, Oceanside, CA 92056, United States
Best Vietnamese restaurant in oceanside/Vista area by far. Both the beef (briske+rare) and chicken pho were outstanding. Brisket was lean. Spring rolls very good too. Service was friendly and efficient. Easy parking.Bowls were a bit on the smaller side, but prices were quite reasonable.

Cooked to perfection. Try the Bun, rice noodle dish with shrimp. Better than any other Vietnamese restaurant in this area.
Saigon Soup

Absolutely love eating here!!! :)They recently expanded to included additional seating so that more people can eat inside. We come here as often as we can whenever we are in area. For a cafe, the menu is not limited. Love all their banh mi - yes, weve tried tried them all! Fave sandwiches are the grilled pork on croissant, and the grilled beef steak on baguette. Love the eggrolls (theyre quite big in size and loaded inside!)They added curries, and they can make them as spicy hot (or not) as the customer wants them. Fave is the chicken curry -- omg, deeeeleeeecious!!! They have boba (or non-boba) smoothies, juices.Service is stellar! Service with a smile. The cook/owner has a very specialized palate for savory Vietnamese food, that is freshly made and served. The owners wife also makes fresh desserts everyday.Prices are sssooo reasonable that we usually order additional food to go after eating at the restaurant. We cant say enough about how impressed we are with this off-the-wall Vietnamese cafe. We look forward to coming back again and again.Roy and MaryJanuary 2017

^_^ Sooooo delicious! For many years vietnamese pho used to be my go-to indulgence in culinary deliciousness. Now the honor has been overtaken by the mouth pleasing yummy yummy goodness of Guanatos City. Every dish is its own near sexual experience of flavor that you never want to end. Never before have I been determined to want to make my way through a restaurants entire menu. My only fear in life is if I ever have to move too far away from this gem of a place. ^_^
Oceanside Sunset Market
401 Pier View Wy, Oceanside, CA 92054, United States
My first impression of Sunset Market, just after the 5pm opening time, was not a good one. We walked up to the first booth, closest to Parlor Donuts, when out of the corner of my eye, I see a young guy running fast, right by me. Hot on his heels was a vendor, super angry & shouting at this guy, whod just stolen something from his booth, from what the vendor was yelling. After this abrupt welcome, things settled down, I relaxed, & my wife & I really enjoyed ourselves, at Oceansides Sunset Market. The third booth down, we found an adorable little mini-size Hawaiian Shirt & Shorts, for my youngest grandson, whos big for his age, 1O months old. Wed been searching all over for something like this, & BOOM, there it was!We sauntered by the booths that held no interest for us, & stopped & looked, if something caught our eye. Both of us were hungry, so the sights & smells of marinated meat & veg cooking, at a Greek mini-restaurant grabbed me. Greek food can have so much flavor, so we ordered a Gyro. It was a pillowy soft pita, packed with hot, super yummy, fresh-roasted meat, & drizzled with a really good tzitki sauce. My wife & I split this Gyro, which tasted amazing, BTW!We walked a bit, then all of a sudden, I was parched. My mouth felt like the Sahara Desert- that dry, only without all that sand. Thats when I knew I was in need of some liquid refreshment. We rounded a corner, & came across Panchos Tacos, a restaurant on Mission Ave., which had an outside patio. A young couple was sitting out there, & 2 nice golden-colored pints of beer rested atop there table. It took my brain a second to trigger a response, but eventually it did come. I NEED A BEER!, boomed an insistent voice, from deep within my melon.I strolled inside, looked over the taps, & picked a Hopster Pot Hazy IPA. I tend to like Hazy IPA s, because theyre smooth, but still provide good flavor, without feeling like you got hit with a Mack Truck Full Of Hops. This beer quenched my thirst, & once again, I was ready to renew my Sunset Market Tour.A band launched into an old rock tune, up on a stage, not far from us. There were plenty of chairs set up, for those who wanted to sit & listen. The guitar player was pretty good, so I took in a bit of the song, while we walked. We found a super interesting booth, where a guy sold hand-made woven totes & baskets, made with intricate, graduated colors, from Ghana. We decided to buy one for my daughter-in-law, for a special occasion of hers, coming up. Not too bad of a price on this gift either, considering this took a long time for someone to craft!Next food choice to pique our interest was a fried tamale. The booth where the delicious aromas were emanating from, was 7 Siblings Fried Tamales. My wife ordered 1 of their Pork Tamales, & she chose the Elote Topping, one of about 6 different toppings to choose from. This tamale was da bomb, really enjoyable, & the sure sign it was good was there wasnt a scrap left, in the little cardboard bowl it was served in.After this, we were comfortably full, & chose to leave Sunset Market, before being tempted to eat anything else, with a myriad of aromatic food choices, that were seemingly everywhere here.
Gaja Korean BBQ
2693 Vista Way, Oceanside, CA 92054, United States
One of the things I love about this place is the robot service. Ordering through the iPad is incredibly convenient, and the robots swiftly delivered the food to our table. It added a unique and futuristic touch to the dining experience. The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. I found the food to be of high quality, which made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. The restaurant provides ample seating and has a great atmosphere. The comfortable seating arrangements, combined with the lively ambiance, created a pleasant and inviting environment to enjoy the meal. Additionally, they offer a digital queue system through Yelp, allowing you to join the queue before arriving or walk around while waiting for your table. This added convenience is a definite plus. However, one area that could use improvement is the inconsistency with the robot service. While the majority of our orders were delivered by robots, there were instances where staff members brought out items or removed food from the robots themselves. This inconsistency took away from the novelty and efficiency of the robot service.Furthermore, I noticed that the bathrooms had an unpleasant odor. It was quite noticeable and detracted from an otherwise positive dining experience. Improving the cleanliness and addressing the smell issue in the bathrooms would greatly enhance the overall customer experience.Despite these minor drawbacks, Gaja Korean BBQ remains a highly recommended dining option. The exceptional robot service, reasonable pricing, delicious food, ample seating, and inviting atmosphere make it a standout choice for Korean BBQ enthusiasts. With a few improvements, they have the potential to become even better!
Brine Box
1, Oceanside Pier, Oceanside, CA 92054, United States
The restaurant is at the end of the very long Oceanside Pier. On the first Saturday in October, at lunchtime, the tiny shack restaurant was not busy. We received our fish and chips and cold canned Cokes quickly. The menu includes fish ingredient items. Daily specials are available such as chilequiles, breakfast egg sandwich, and Vietnamese shrimp PoBoy, for example. Friendly staff. Beautiful day sitting on the pier watching the surfers, fishers, and waves. So peaceful.
