Ph Bc K Restaurant
14207 Red Hill Ave, Tustin, CA 92780, United States
Next to the Stater Brothers supermarket in Tustin, California, this Vietnamese restaurant is a local best-kept secret. You dont have to head to Garden Grove (unless its after 9pm) for great food at a reasonable price. The place isnt the fanciest, but no one goes to these restaurants for the decor. Highly recommend it.

I just got back from 9 months in Thailand on a study abroad trip two days ago, and today we went to this Thai restaurant that initially doesnt look like much. But their food is awesome! While Thais love very spicy food, the ingredients in their meals are the real things that they put in their food. Even though some of the food may be refined, that is how they eat some meals in Thailand. The chopped chicken, the mango and rice, soups, etc. are real dishes in Thailand. But since this is America, everything is not as spicy as Thais like it but how us Americans like it. The staff are all from Thailand who speak English well. We went to the restaurant initially thinking it was a Vietnamese place, but they have mainly Thai meals, with Thai posters and a Thai map over the walls. Recommended for American Asian food lovers. There are several tables, with condiments and spices.

The Rustic Table Asian Kitchen
2527 Victor Ave, Redding, CA 96002, United States
Service and atmosphere:Nice attitude, and polite, but need lots of work to improve customer service and customer experience satisfaction. Our waitress welcomed and escorted us to the upstairs dining area because first level had about only 5 tables and they were full. We were seated upstairs and provided with the menus. Its customary to offer or ask if guests would like cups of water? before leaving the guest. We did not get any water, which at first was not a great deal, but the top level is extremely warm (almost 75-80 degrees) and it took a while for the waitress to get to us and we were getting dehydrated pretty quickly. The waitress finally came to take our orders and we asked for drinks and water, and we placed our orders. Thank goodness the drinks arrived but sadly no water.Food and drinks: drinks were 7/10 because my Arnold Palmer had week flavors. The matcha drink was super good and had nice flavor. Our food took awhile to arrive. Food was 6.5/10. The staff member who brought our food upstairs, he fell down the top steps and the food spilled. We were very worried for his safety because it was pretty hard hit. I hope he is okay and did not get in any trouble for this. Which brings a safety code issue.Due to the incident, our order was delayed a bit more. Then the food arrived. First, the presentation of the food and the plating was good. One of our plates was missing so we had to ask for it. Second, when it arrived, it was cold and over cooked. Finally, my dish had exactly 4 small shrimps, which is not servings size. The spring rolls were absolute basic and no flavor. They had only lettuce rice noodles and half of shrimps. No basil or mint, no green onions or mung beans sprouts, no cucumbers and the sauce was very disappointing. There is a lot to improve on, and I hope this help the restaurant management team to work on implementing and getting better food and customer service to flourish in this area.Again, its customary to bring the side table condiments, which we did not get at all neither asked if we would like to have some. Keep in mind, we were upstairs, so it was very difficult to flag any of the staff to ask for anything. We had 2 drinks, small soup, spring rolls, and rice dish. All came to a total of $67 and some cents. In my opinion it was too pricey for the quality, quantity and experience.Note: we asked one of the staff members to turn the AC, but it was not working. Eventually, he just left. So my husband got up and turn the large corner fan which was only one direction.

Fusion Lounge
1545 Placer St, Redding, CA 96001, United States
This establishment is very unique in regards to what they offer, They indeed live up to their name as you start drooling just by reading the menu, and the perfect execution of fused Asian\American cuisines. Also is a great environment to get together with friends or family and have a cold one together or whatever adult beverage your craving. The uhhhh.....The Fusion Shrimp is like...way ahead of our time, I have to have it every time I visit. Try it and youll also see why. :) Hell...You know what, If you order that fusion shrimp and for whatever crazy, head scratching reason you dont like it..Screen shot your receipt to me and tell me why for whatever reason you werent not happy with it and Ill reimburse you for it, no joke, Thats how fire those are...Lastly and most importantly, I gotta Tip my cap to the faction that runs and operates this fine establishment, Its pretty damn rare when the customer service, and I mean each level of them.. Servers,Bartenders and kitchen staff is so phenomenal and welcoming that I found myself starting to feel a little bit guilty... like I didnt deserve such awesome treatment and inviting culture that they have instilled in their lounge, To the point where I wanted to clean my own table and take my dishes back to the kitchen myself since I felt theyve already done enough for me, Ya that probably sounds over the top to most but honestly I cant think of another place that caters to their patrons like they do. I knew right away once they announced that they were relocating from the east side of Redding and taking their talents to the heart of Downtown that they were gonna take over and blow up the scene down here and thats exactly whats happening as I type this as well as new menu items they added to an already stellar line-up of offerings and their food portioning is very generous so bring an appetite. So give them a solid look and you will not be disappointed, I even challenged you with an incentive with the Fusion Shrimp Who does that? Im just a regular customer that wants anybody whos maybe still on the fence about trying this place out or just passing through looking for something new I would strongly suggest not sleeping on this place, They have raised the bar(No pun intended) :p and are without a doubt in a league of their own in pretty much all aspects of operation. Im definitely looking forward to this summer as by then... I hope were as close to Pre-Covid normalcy as possible and that Fusion can finally dispatch a (FULL SEND)on their indoor dining space and rock max capacity once again!! Dont tell me that an amazing and revolutionary Food menu, Plus a Great selection of Domestic and Imported Brew and they actually have our award winning local brewer (Fall River Brewery) on %#π&$π÷ Tap here!!! offering theyre Hexegenia IPA which it doesnt get any better than that and pair all of that with good friends and family, inviting service which is a big understatement and if you want...get down on some organized corn hole tournaments that are set up out back which IMO poses a very fun time all around so I cant wait til that comes back into the fold.Ive never once written a review of a Restaurant or any other establishment before so I apologize if Ive wrote too much lol But I just felt I had too and to let you guys know this place is awesome and that you can experience what I have, These are my honest and genuine thoughts, I hope this review was helpful. See you there maybe!!Sorry haha....one last thing, I wouldnt call it Bar-Food like some other reviewers, I think thats an insult IMO.

Niu Hawaiian BBQ
1030 E Cypress Ave B, Redding, CA 96002, United States
I bought two plates from this restaurant, which I was excited because I heard they have great food. However, I got home and split the plates with my daughter. She found a hair in the food. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with an employee. She said I need to bring the food back. I explained to hear that we were in the middle of eating it. She said since we don't have all the food there is nothing they can do. I then asked to speak to the manager and she said he was too busy to talk to me and instead told the girl to tell me it's against their policy. I asked what the policy is and she said “ sorry, I don't know” I asked her to ask the manager and she said “ he is too busy”At this point I'm think this is not right and nasty. I don't mind buying another plate but not sure if I would get another hair in my food. Makes me think how dirty it is behind the counter where they cook the food. It's clear they don't care about the already paid customers. Their only concern is helping the customer that are at the restaurant and moving to the next. I definitely don't recommend this ungrateful restaurant.

Kanya Market

The couple that own this market treat you like family. Theyre attentive, caring, and enjoy to talk to me. Quite easy to befriend them!!!Food is wonderful (both packaged and cooked) and at an awesome price! Ordered a small bowl of Noodles for around $6 and was filled to the brim! The place was full but I didnt need to wait more than at least 5 minutes for my delicious food.Customers here are polite and its nice to see the locals :)Nice place to go during lunch break, after school, or with friends and family. They restock daily and bring in new foods every once in a while. Shelves are never bare and nothing is ever torn open or old.

T4 Cafe
1340 Churn Crk Rd, Redding, CA 96003, United States
This is probably the only good place to get milk tea in all of Redding. It's not the best milk tea I've ever tasted though. I used to live in the Bay Area and Los Angeles so it's really difficult to beat the boba over there. I'm glad they allow sugar and ice adjustments because some of the teas are really sugary. I recommend the jasmine milk tea with 50% sugar level. I also never had mini boba until I came here, I'm a huge fan of them now. I don't know why, but I prefer it to the normal size boba now :)The food here is 2.5 out of 5. Popcorn chicken is above average, but nothing amazing. On the other hand the honey wings are god awful. I took one bite, gagged and threw all of it away. A huge waste is $8. This is primarily the reason for 4/5 star rating. The rice dishes are also average to below average. I don't eat here anymore except for the occasional fries and popcorn chicken these days. The people who work here are chill, they are trying to do their best with the whole coronavirus pandemic, but they don't require masks which I think they should. A lot of kids and teens come here and take forever, they also aren't the most caring type of people with the virus going about. To avoid them, don't come here in the late afternoon and early evening when school's out.
