Al Pho
1201 E Main St, Santa Maria, CA 93454, United States
Al Pho is my all time favorite Vietnamese restaurant and I lived in Long Beach for 10 years near Little Saigon. And Im half Vietnamese. The noodles are perfectly cooked, the broth is perfection, the dipping sauces are amazing. The serving sizes are generous and I always have seconds leftover when I get the oxtail pho. Also, where else can you get oxtail pho?? The prices are decent. They serve wine and beer, and if u call ahead the order is always ready. It is never a long wait for food, but the place is always busy. Order at the front then sit down and they bring it to you. Great service, great owners. My daughters are 11 and 10 and refuse to eat at the other Vietnamese restaurant if this one is closed (on Wednesdays). So do I. Its not the same. Love love love this place.

Best vietnamese restaurant in town. The only thing I dont order from the menu is Pho. Dont get me wrong, I am getting useful rich flavorful pho with lot of mixed green, this just not cut it for me.I would recommend bbq rice plate and fried chicken wings.

I liked the idea but I did not really enjoy the items I got unfortunately. I lived in both Korea and Hawaii, where typical items on the menu would be found. I bought some wings that showed one fire sign and although they were so flavorful and filling they were not spicy at all. I was disappointed typically wings in Korea had a kick to them even when displayed as mild. The mochi donuts lacked the mochi consistency that I enjoyed while eating mochi donuts in Hawaii (had some of the best mochi donuts there). Additionally I had an boba tea that was way too sweet and also had flan in it. I liked the idea but it was way too sweet for my liking. I really liked the idea of this location in Santa Maria, and hopefully they continue to improve.

Great place! Theyve come a long way from when they first started. I love the Taro Snow Ice and Canteloupe Snow Ice! Pomagranite and boba?! Cant go wrong with that! Just delicious overall. Great place to come and hangout with your mates while sharing a delicious confection. The place is always clean and the staff is always wonderful, (Shout out to Jenny!) There is enough parking and its right next to other shopping places. Oh! And you get like a rewards card! Every 10th stamp is a free drink! ??? Did i mention you can use Samsung Pay?!!! I am sure their NFC reader works on most phones! Over all a nice joint! Definetely a place all of SM and passer bys should check out.

They now serve Vietnamese Pho, and its legit delicious! Since the new owner is Vietnamese, you can be sure they know how to cook it. The owner is so proud to informed us that the recipe is a family recipe from generations to generations. You can taste that the broth is not just made from a powder, its with actual bone boiled for hours. The serving is very generous, with lots of meats and vegetables. Place is clean, people are nice and kind, server is good as well. There are lots of parking spaces available. The place is beside FoodTrip, a popular Filipino Restaurant.

Today after going to Starbucks across the street from this restaurant and being treated with kindness and understanding we thought we would try teriyaki at this restaurant. The first greeting was ok but was told I shud sit outside bcuz of my dog that the server didnt recognizing he had his service vest on and that I was told most people with pets sat outside.I explained to him I am a veteran with a service dog and have never been refused service to where I could sit..I showed him my veterans card and that my service dog is tegistered.I suddenly lost my appetite a n.v d we left. To add to the insult he apologized and said have a nice day.Being that as it iui s I wouldve given 0 stars to this restaurant if I could. We went to a vietnamese restaurant and had no issue. Some training is needed bcuz we also had gone to ichiban and they hff ad no issue either.Careful consideration of California state and national laws need to be followed. Poor poor customer service of untrained individuals.
