Dumplings are inconsistent here. Thats all I ever get. A quick little snack before work or after and its been good lately until the last two times Ive gone. Not sure if its a new person on the grill or just being lazy but as you see in the pictures its pretty bad.The dumplings sometimes have little pieces of char on them I usually just flick off which is fine. Lately theyve been consistent and clean and no need to. But the last two times Ive gone they were pretty bad. Like bad bad. Just after 2020 covid it was always bad but since have fixed the issue until recently again. Here Ill show you.As you see in the picture it looks like they were not on a clean grill and just dumped on the grill with old crusty crumbs still on it. Lots of burnt bits on the dumplings and to top it off a big Ole piece of burnt something was picked up from probably in a crevice of the grill where nothing gets cleaned and placed in the container for extra flavoring lol. Why do that? Just clean the grill and stop being lazy.
Zen Japanese Thai Cuisine

Just made an order for delivery. The food I ordered for my wife an kids was pretty good but my order was completely wrong. I ordered Drunken Noodles with Shrimp, green onion an bell pepper only. Instead my order had tons of big slices of regular onion, without a single green onion in sight an spinach I believe which I never even asked for an egg which I also didnt ask for. I said BELL PEPPER AN GREEN ONION ONLY! They even read the order back to me perfectly an then proceeded to make it how ever they felt like once they hung up with me. This was clearly on purpose because we were one of, if not the last order of the night for delivery. They get 3 stars for the food still being edible however this is the last time I ever order from them again for delivery. If your not there in person to make sure they do it right dont even bother. I feel like I wasted 47 bucks. No excuse for this. Very disappointed.

Been going to Super Subs for years now. I used to live in Banning and this was definitely my top restaurant to eat at. Ive since moved 3000 miles away but every time I make it back home this is the first place I pick to grab a meal. The sandwiches are delicious nothing fancy but they sure are tasty. The bread is a perfect match for any of the sandwiches that you choose from. Crusty on the outside soft and chewy on the inside. My absolute favorite is the Asian chicken with jalapenos. Its the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. I love all the crunchy vegetables that are added to the sandwich giving the sandwich a perfect texture. Theyre other sandwiches are also just as amazing taste twice.Pro tip they also sell amazing Indonesian lumpias and a few other yummy Indonesian dishes. Call ahead and see whats on the menu and believe me you wont be disappointed. One of the reasons why I love this little mama pop shop is because of the owners. Diana and Ben are so sweet and have done so much for the small town over the years. They go above and beyond customer service and for that they will always get my business.
Surin Thai
300 S Highland Springs Ave STE 6B, Banning, CA 92220, United States
Ive only had 1 or 2 dishes, but both were quite good. The dining room is clean and waitstaff are prompt and friendly. The only issue youll regularly encounter is that it takes quite some time to get your food--frequently 30 minutes or more. I came in around 3pm on a Saturday and waited 30 min for my food after ordering (I was alone, so just one portion) and when it came they had forgotten my brown rice, which I waited almost another 10 minutes for. However, they were very apologetic and did not charge me the extra $2.50 for the brown rice because I waited extra due to their mistake. One thing I appreciate is that they are very upfront about the current wait times when you sit down or order takeout, and they even have a sign on their door to that effect as well. So I would say if you have time for a leisurely meal, go for it because the food is very good and the overall experience is pleasant! If you are on any kind of strict time limit, however, visiting Thai Chili in Calimesa or Thai Air in Beaumont might be a better choice in that respect.
Thai Orchid Restaurant
6350 W Ramsey St, Banning, CA 92220, United States
Fabulous food, endearing staff and very willing to work with you. Stopped here while going home from a climbing trip, it was late and the staff did not turn us away. Despite it being late, the staff service and quality of food was not compromised. Ordered Pad see ew, tom kah goong, papaya salad and egg plant salad all with pork as the meat of choice. We ate family style and all dishes ordered were spicy, delicious and hot. The soup was a great recovery dish and it came out fast, followed by the pad see ew and salads; the noodles were well cooked, flavorful and filling, the egg plant came with rice and was very saucy, the papaya salad was refreshing and unique. Overall a great experience, all climbers, hikers, etc should stop here for a well deserved meal, and if you arent one of those stop here anyways. Also order thai iced tea, cold and dark with milk, yum!
Sun Lakes Country Club HOA

Beautiful 55 and over place for those who are retired. 4 pools, 3 fitness centers, a library and golf courses! However, do not move here if you still need to work and have 2 large vehicles. They have a regulation that requires you park your vehicles in the garage from midnight to 6am. You are not allowed to park in your own driveway. They also do not offer any other alternatives to parking. Not following regulations results in fines and possibly loosing your right to drive your vehicle in the gated community. The board of directors do not care if both your vehicles are so tight that once you park them in the garage you can not get out the vehicle doors. It was suggested I park my least used vehicle somewhere else outside the gated area. They do not care that some couples still work and need both their vehicles on a daily basis. They do not care if they are making it hard for you to get to work by having to store your vehicle elsewhere. They do not care if they are hampering your ability to earn a living. Everything is great here except the crazy parking rule.
Darumaya
300 S Highland Springs Ave G10, Banning, CA 92220, United States
This place is almost like a secret find in that it is so good yet almost invisible. Tucked in to an otherwise non-descript shopping mall that caters to several nearby gated, secure senior housing developments, Darumaya is tiny but delicious. The dining area has only about eight tables. It appears that they have a robust take-out trade. The service is quite good: Accurate, prompt, and deferential. But, the star of the show is the food. It is marvelous. I am not a habitual Japanese cuisine fan -- the appeal of raw fish is beyond me. But, as indicated in several of my other reviews, I eat fish every Friday, so I am always on the look out for those good sources of Omega-3s. I found an ideal candidate in Darumayas Teriyaki Salmon plate (see my photo). The fish comes in a generous portion, very hot, perfectly cooked throughout, drizzled with luscious Teriyaki sauce, and garnished with chopped green onion. It is accompanied by steamed white rice and a scrumptious mix of field greens with chopped tomato, covered in a delicate white dressing. I also order the vegetable tempura appetizer, which is supposed to serve several, but it is so good that I polish the whole thing off by myself. The veggies are served with a bowl of broth for dipping and I like to infuse the rice with soy sauce. Last time, they served me a bowl of miso soup that I did not request and for which I was not charged -- go figure. To top it off, they end the meal with a complementary single scoop of ice cream (their choice of flavor). All this for Fifteen Bucks -- You cannot beat it! This place is a gem and I highly recommend it.
Wings Garden Cafe

**First and second time here** I have driven by several times and finally stopped. ***This is one of the last places you will find in the area that serves classic, fresh, & made to order American/Chinese cuisine*** Last night I got chicken chop suey and it was fantastic! Not familiar? Its bean sprouts, onions, bok choy cabbage, water chestnuts etc. And your choice of meat (Same as chow mein but without noodles). Havent had that fresh and simple flavor in over 25 years! And there was PLENTY of chicken! It came with delicious a side of steamed rice and wasnt expensive ($12.88) and leftovers! Today I got Chicken fried steak. It is house made like all of the menu and Ive never had a better texture than Wings version (they use real steak not ground beef). **The serving was large and plenty of gravy** flavor was good although I added a touch of salt to the gravy. The corn and mashed potatoes were good as well as the egg drop soup (the incuded side items). I will absolutely return again to work my way down there huge menu!!! ???? Also met the owner (Wing) had a nice conversation about Chinese/American dining and the changes hes experienced in over 36 years of his business. The hostess was friendly and offered a pleasent conversation herself on both of my visits even remembering my name! ? explained the menu well and her suggestions were welcomed. ?
