Wah Sing
River Park Shopping Center, 1445 W Imola Ave, Napa, CA 94559, United States
I placed a pickup order for plain white rice, which only costs $3. It appeared LATER on my credit card as $6. I guess Wah Sing decided they DESERVED a TIP. As a MATTER OF PRINCIPLE, I called the restaurant & they PRETENDED to be unable to speak English. I dont tip Wah Sing cause theyre ALWAYS RUDE & NOT HOSPITABLE, unless youre Chinese or from another Asian country they like. Serving staff can definitely use a lot of customer service training. I no longer patronize this discriminating & dishonest business. In addition, this isnt a $ price restaurant. We are NOT talking Panda Express prices here. Its menu price is more in the $$ range. And obviously, they will help themselves to the tip they feel THEY DESERVE, if you use your credit card. BE ALERT! ??
Dragon Valley
1675 Trancas St, Napa, CA 94558, United States
If I order shrimp fried rice, Id like a decent portion of shrimp in it. If I order beef chow mein, Id like a decent portion of beef in it. Each order item is EASILY $10 & up. $10+ FOR ONLY vegetables & rice/chow mein noodles; the CHEAPEST ingredients? If you place a PREMIUM meat/seafood ONLY order be prepared to pay the price. But again, the SIZE of meat/seafood does not justify the much higher price.Thats my point with this restaurant. The food is good. VEGANS must REALLY love this place! Please, put a DECENT amount of the main ingredients; beef, chicken, shrimp, pork into your orders & I will you give you 4 ⭐. Now, I must SIFT & SEARCH for pieces of meat/seafood. But dont increase your price! Its too high already for Chinese cuisine.Dragon Valley is fortunate (wise?) to be in Napa where there is NOT MUCH competition for Chinese restaurants. I doubt they would remain in business very long if they were located in SF. I grew up in SF. I am Asian/Pacific Islander. ALL Asian restaurants are in FIERCE COMPETITION in the City. Napa chinese restaurants only serve what Napa residents actually believe is Chinese food. It isnt. Regardless, WHERES THE MEAT?! ?
Eikos Sushi
1300 1st St #385, Napa, CA 94559, United States
We came here to celebrate a birthday and had a good time. Food was ok, and service couldve been better but was acceptable. Prices are reasonable and in par with other Japanese restaurants. Place is advertised as Modern Japanese Cuisine, but my opinion is, its more of a fusion Japanese Cuisine. The 15 Spice Baby Back Ribs seemed out of place as it felt more for Asian Bar Food, but its done right with excellent flavors. The Avacado Tempura was different, but not a must try and you can skip the Crispy Tuna Pizza; opt for the Hamachi Bon Bon and the House Made Gyoza instead. Although they had Uni, ours still had traces of icicles. Their Shrimp Tempura is different from others as its fresh hand battered. Their Healthy Fries (fried green beans) are very good and taste similar to Habits version.
Morimoto Asia Napa
790 Main St, Napa, CA 94559, United States
To be charitable, this place is obviously undergoing “growing pains” as it’s only recently opened. That said, service was laughably poor. My wife and I are still shaking our heads over the multiple misfires over our steamed pork bun order. The ambiance is strange, the food is just OK and the prices are high, particularly in light of the value offered in the form of service and food quality. Napa needs a great Chinese-focused Asian restaurant. This isn’t it.
Panda Express
255 Soscol Ave, Napa, CA 94559, United States
We endure a smaller sit down space, as they do cook is very good. In other places nearby and in larger cities such as Long Beach, our Pandas are large and well known for accommodating families and Pop Culture Foodies with their social media on average 4 times the same set-up. Be sure you ask about side orders for plain entree, and ask how to be sure to avoid getting an appetizer for an entree as there has been a popular trend to eat them on top of carbs and starches. OR, just forget and try it!! You may fall into the novelty FAD and try adding a sauce. In 5 yrs I only had 1 mistake charge which may have been a register error. Yippee!!UPDATE: Hoped this appetizer as entree problem was fixed.Feb 1, 2024 6:08PM But I see it became a FAD.-- Missing Chopsticks -- Where did they go?Online, with delivery you can order a bowl and have a nice treat for a drink there is a lemonade that is worthy of pre-order. Online /App: Be sure to watch the building bowl items. *You can end up with the entree Ala cart or appetizer as the entree in your bowl bundle over the chowmein, fried rice. (Im still uncertain how power greens are sorted). You may find eating veggies as a therapy to resolve aggression. Broccoli bite regularly improves the look of your mandibular jaw line and tones the neck lifting your face slightly as well as using muscles that you may not normally think to exercise.Let me close by saying that PANDA is the nicest family feeling quick food, the servers are just lovely and always smiling. The game incentives are cute and good for the kids to wrack up Panda Points.Food Grade: 2012-2024 Feb. I have not seen nor heard any food warning nor complaint in 12 years.I LIKE THIS Panda and give it a: MODEL PANDA EXPRESS, Status. Many choices, great location. After were done, we can always burn our calories taking food to the family, and walking off the calories shopping in the strip mall.

Wish the Breakfast Don had more meat.Ariana comments: food hits. The more expensive options give larger portions. Love the natural lighting.
Genova Delicatessen
1550 Trancas St, Napa, CA 94558, United States
I am gluten free, not by choice, and when I asked if the polenta was gluten free, I was rudely dismissed with We dont have anything gluten free. Well, they have meats, chicken, some salad, etc. When I stated that polenta is usually gf, the man went and asked his co worker and was dismissed as nothing is gf here. I was struck by how arrogant the taller guy was as he asked me if I had a number when I was one of two people standing at the counter. There were no numbers as they were stuck in the machine. He sent me back to the original guy waiting on my sister. There was no friendliness at all as I remember from a few years back. I ordered a couple of slices of roast beef and cheese. I was appalled that the man picked them up with his hands. We should have walked out then and there. He packed it in the bag with the hot soup and lasagna and when I got home, the cheese was melted and stuck to the paper. My mother said the minestrone was not flavorful so was quite disappointed. The arrogance and lack of good customer service is off putting.
Hop Creek Pub
3253 Browns Valley Rd, Napa, CA 94558, United States
Tucked away in Napas Browns Valley district, this is way more than a Pub! I havent met anyone local or otherwise, that doesnt think this place is a gem, hidden from the hustle and bustle of downtown life. Whether youre dining in or ordering to-go (available online, non-busy hours only!), you will not be disappointed. They have an outdoor area available, and get this, yall, bring the pup, because theyre pup friendly!! I personally havent tried any of their beer, so if thats what youre looking for - go ahead and swipe left. The food, however -- yooooooo ... all day, everyday! Some of the food I tried are -Crispy calamari -- Crispy it is, and almost always have to get two orders, cause sharing is caring! The spicy-lemon aioli pairs perfect with the calamari. Youll be asking for more calamari just for the dip (see thats why I get two orders).Garlic Pub Fries - Need I say more? Plus, you can upgrade your meal to include garlic fries for $1 - made me hollar.Western BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger - Hold the tomatoes, everything else was mmm, mmm, good, according to my son - he asked for another one. I told him to finish those garlic fries he left lingering on his plate. He didnt need another one, just time for that burger to digest.BLTB - yea, the more bacon part at the end. For such a classic sammy - boy they upt the stakes .. always more bacon.Grannys Homestyle Mac & Cheese -- That white cheddar had my knees weak. I had to share w/ the kid, who ate it up .. like all the way up. Shiesh, couldnt even save me any.Ale-battered Cod -- This is my GO TO! When Im feeling frisky, I get 3, yes 3 .. because their spicy tarter saucey goes .. and goes.. and goes. You know I got the garlic fries to go with my cod. No one gets a reply back when I have my food in front of me.Lastly -- cheesecake .. I mean they have a special board specifically for the flavor of the day. The only neg I have is that their online ordering menu doesnt have their cheesecake of the day, mostly just the brownie - not that I have anything against the brownie, Im sure its good, like everything else, but cheesecake though. The fact that the flavor changes, I think makes it more that I want it.All in all, if youre wanting something for yourself, with your family, week day or night, or even on the weekends w/ your pup(s), you cant beat not coming here and patron this fine establishment. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming and you want the vibe. Youll leave happier and content.
Yak and Yeti restaurant
3150 b Jefferson St, Napa, CA 94559, United States
A wonderful restaurant, one of Napa Citys hidden gems. If youve never tried South Asian cuisine, just go for dessert the first time. The rice pudding is to die for. Then, try the main menu next time .
PHO Kitchen
5375 Napa St #104b, San Diego, CA 92110, United States
This is the store where the owner does not care about the customer service at all. Im the asian who visited there alone 3 times recently and I sit on the regular small table where maximum of 4 people can sit. But the old server with glasses told me to move the table to the one right in front of the door that was opened. I refused because it was cold over there and then he said that I need his permission to sit on the table. I am the customer I really dont think I need his permission to sit onthe table? The restaurant was not busy. Anyway He tossed the bowl of noodles in front of me. I asked for a cup of water and it was ignored. I ate the hot noodles with no water. After few days later I visited the restaurant again because the noodle was tasting great actually. But the same server refused to take my order for 30 minutes. Other one went out for smoking a cigarette right in front of the restaurant. Imagine sitting on the table for 30 minute not taking my order. I called him and he completely ignored me. such a disgusting experience. I hope the owner reads my message. YOU NEED BETTER A SERVER
